Like a curates egg, parts of it were good
The week tour to Slovenia was better than average, but only just worth 4 stars. This was mostly due to to Titan's own mistakes, and ones that really did affect the quality of the holiday. In truth the tour itinerary changed- from the brochure, to the details on the booking, to the actual visits. It was not what was expected and surely more details could have been made.
The tour Guide was a hard working, caring and knowledgeable native, who did try to make things work, but gave false information, and who hardly ever seemed to stop talking, which rather spoilt things.
Titan provided no help at the airport before check in which made things a little confusing and for some, difficult. The transfer to the airport was in a vehicle where we had to sit facing backwards which made my wife feel somewhat ill. One passenger was a woman with severe walking difficulties who we (and many others on the tour) should not have been going alone, and caused problems for the Guide and others. Titan could have checked to see if this was suitable for her I feel, and provided help at the airport.
Our group had 3 people who had to use walkers, and others with walking difficulties, but the first two trips included, which were advertised as easy, proved impossible. There were steps or a steep, and frankly dangerous for people of impaired mobility, pathway which actually led nowhere. This meant that 6 people had to sit(as best they could) in the sun for over 30 minutes at the very busy docking area used by the little boats visiting an island. Then a visit to a castle where the approach ramp of 30% inclination turned inro a 45% ramp, impossible for walkers and one other lady. Surely this should have been checked out by reps before being offered, and the brochure made clear that this was not a category 1 -easy- holiday. Other problems did occur, such as being told that the cellars included in a wine tasting trip were down ( and therefore back up) lots of stairs - again many people did not feel they would do this- whereas the entire visit was on the flat.
Although this seems to be a complaint affecting only a small group of people, it significantly influenced our views of the entire tour as other aspects also were not correctly described, The problem is also that all in all we found the tour to be very good, some really enjoyable experiences, wonderful sights and a reasonably good hotel that was comfortable and welcoming to return to,
We are dubious now about Titan, feeling that they do not offer sufficient support before travel, do not provide sufficient detail about their excursions, both included and optional, and do not seem to bother exactly who goes on their tours.
So a bare 4 stars and the feeling that 3 might have been appropriate if the sights had not been so graeat

Route 66 The Mother Road
Fantastic trip on Route 66 travelling from Chicago to Santa Monica. So many special moments and fantastic landscapes. Our tour manager Steve Pritchard was fantastic. From the departure gate at Heathrow to the arrivals hall arriving back, Steve was there all of the time. Friendly, helpful, informative and funny- Steve really made the trip a great experience. We had a great variety of stops along the way so everyone was catered for. Our wonderful driver Joe Girouard also did a great job. Safe driving, looking out for our luggage, smile and a chat every day along the way. We had a lovely group who enjoyed a laugh along the way too

Awe Inspiring National Parks
We had just returned from an absolutely amazing National Parks tour. The scenery was breathtaking every single day—mountains, canyons, waterfalls and wildlife that you really have to see to believe.
Over 18 days we covered around 3,300 miles and walked between 4 and 6 miles most days, which gave us a fantastic way to really experience each location up close. We did have early starts most days, usually around 8am, but they were definitely worth it as it meant we could make the most of each place and see everything at its best.
We also had a fantastic group of people on the tour, which really added to the experience and made the whole holiday even more enjoyable
A big thank you to our tour manager Flora, who was fantastic throughout. She was organised, friendly and really knowledgeable, which made the whole trip run so smoothly.
Also a special mention to our coach driver Juan, who was excellent. We always felt safe and comfortable, even on some long drives and winding roads, and he always kept the coach immaculate as well as being cheerful and professional throughout.
Overall, this was an unforgettable holiday and we’d highly recommend it to anyone who loves incredible scenery and a well-organised tour.

Route 66, Chicago to Los Angeles
Travelled the length of Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. The tour was well managed and more importantly the tour manager Steve Pritchard was very knowledgeable of the route feeding us good information as we passed and stopped at famous Route 66 landmarks along the way.
Equally as good was our driver Joe Girouard who drove the 3800 miles safely and confidently. I think the tour manager and driver who worked together so well added to the enjoyment of this trip. Not forgetting the friendly bunch of passengers

Just the most amazing tour guide, Steve Pritchard, could not do enough for everyone. Just the nicest most helpful guide. Route 66 knowledge was amazing. If I could rate it 10 stars I would. Joe Girourd our driver was such a gentleman and we felt very safe on our travels. He was also very friendly to the whole group. The most amazing paring. If I knew they where on a specific tour I'd book again because of them. Just fantastic. Amazing holiday all round. Just amazing guys, both. Well done.

A unique trip along America’s Mother Road
Just returned from Titan’s Route 66 Tour (June2026)
Absolutely brilliant! Travelling along Route 66 captures the essence of the Mother Road and its influence on American history, culture and music.
Steve Pritchard was a first class Tour Manager whose knowledge of the towns and cities along the route provided the opportunity for travellers to experience a range of unique sights and sounds.
A shout-out too for our driver Joe Girouard who drove 3,800 miles and kept us all safe and sound.
Highly recommended if you’re keen to get your kicks along Route 66!

Action packed and fascinating itinerary…
Action packed and fascinating itinerary including parts of Ecuador, the Amazon rainforest and Galapagos. (I followed the ship option which seemed to be fuller than the land based itinerary). Experience was heightened by Maria, our hard-working tour guide, whose burning passion for her beautiful country, sense of humour and clear desire to give us a great holiday were infectious.
The group (4 couples and 4 singles) very quickly bonded to become a family, sharing photos and memories throughout the trip.
Good to very good hotels (including the one we named “Fawlty Towers” in Santa Cruz - we’d been warned by Titan that Galápagos hotels aren’t always as good as on the mainland), food plentiful & varied and the friendliness of all the Ecuadorians we met was amazing and seemed genuine.
Great local guides, all with good English, fantastic eyesight, viewing equipment and photographic ability combined to ensure that we all took home loads of excellent pictures and videos.
Thoroughly recommend this trip.

We recently returned from a short break…
We recently returned from a short break in Guernsey.The booking process was easy and clear and the itinerary was easy to follow.There was some confusion when the driver came to collect me.I was expecting the driver and we set off at the alloted time but five minutes after i left another driver came to my door disturbing my family in the early hours of the morning looking to take me to the airport but i had already left!
We were greeted at the airport by our guide Alex who travelled with us to Guernsey.I was travelling on my own and found i was sitting next to our guide on the short flight.i tried to make conversation but my efforts were not warmly welcomed so the rest of the journey continued in silence!This seemed to set the tone for the rest of the holiday!In general Alex was polite to the group and efficient but he paid very little attention to the group on an individual basis.At one point his wife joined us on a trip to Sark!I interacted with Alex a couple of times but it was on a superficial level.
I have been on 8 holidays with Titan/Saga and have never come
accross this before.
I really enjoyed the holiday even though there was a lot of time when nothing had been arranged and as a solo traveller this was perhaps a little difficult at times.The hotel was lovely,the room a little small but comfortable and the food was amazing!
I really enjoyed the holiday and would definitely like to return to Guernsey.

Just got back from Southern sights and…
Just got back from Southern sights and sounds in America with Titan. My first time travelling alone. We had the lovely Tony as our tour manager, he done a brilliant job looking after us all, nothing was too much trouble for him. A lovely group of people to travel with and it was a smaller group.We had a lovely coach driver on our tour and saw such amazing places. The only down side was this was my first time navigating an air port on my own. When I booked this holiday through a travel agent they assured me I would be met at Heathrow airport and be looked after, this wasn't the case. Met the tour manager in Atlanta airport. Very overwhelming as it was my first time.
