Tony’s Tackle was founded in Eastbourne in 1974 by Tony Kirrage, built on the belief that anglers deserve honest advice and tackle that genuinely works. From the start, the shop became known for straight talking and reliable gear rather than sales hype. Over the years, Tony established himself as a respected angler as well as a tackle dealer, competing at the highest levels of match fishing, representing England internationally, and working closely with leading manufacturers including Penn, Shimano, Daiwa and Greys. Today, Tony’s Tackle continues both in-store and online, supplying anglers across the UK with carefully selected new and second-hand tackle, always with the same focus on quality, experience and trust.

Tony is very friendly and helpful…

Tony is very friendly and helpful either when you put to many questions.
5***** fishing tackle all the way and the best thing is I received my order next day.
+ the price for all tackles are a bit lower.

Great service

I recently bought a century rod from Tony's tackle ,,I can't fault the service throughout, quick delivery, well packaged, rod was as described, I will definitely be using them again👍

Avoid

Do not buy online from this shop and Tony items don’t get sent emails ignored and attitude from the old fart on the phone money lost and so is the trust

Tony's tackle shop Eastbourne excellent

Tony runs the only Eastbourne fishing tackle shop. He has had the shop many years and knows the local fishing scene very well (he is an expert having made YouTube videos etc) so great for local knowledge and advice too. His shop is very well stocked, with everything you could need, and he only sells quality tackle tried and tested by him. I got some rods from him that proved excellent and are now my favourite. Tony has frozen bait available and orders in fresh live black lug, crab and ragworm, when they are available. I would travel to go to Tony's shop because it is so good. He even does things like let you upgrade your rods you bought from him, if you keep the receipt and your old rods are in good condition, he will deduct the price you paid against the new rods you upgrade to. Absolutely excellent. Buy with confidence from Tony's Tackle Shop
