Fast shipping, strong quality decking boards
Fast shipping, all of my decking arrived in one week. Customer Support was really great and they helped me with some post sale support for additional boards. They quality of the boards are way thicker material than what I've seen in other places like B&Q.

Found this company by chance and from the initial contact to the after sales service, nothing was too much trouble, initially dealt with Mike who certainly knew that customer service was the be all and end all. When delivery turned up it was an awkward place to get the package to enable us to hand ball it into the back garden, but, the driver was faultless and helped unload. Once the decking had been completed, there was items of clips left, so phones up and was told bring them back and a refund given. I would recommend 100% every time, nothing to much trouble, the customer is King in the eyes of Tough decking employees. O and the product is without doubt of excellent quality and a reasonable cost in competition with other companies. Thankyou

What a fantastic service
What a fantastic service. Two of the items were damaged in transit. Even though it was a very small order the issue was resolved in one day and replacement sent out immediately with an apology. If you need to buy composite decking, this is the only company to use, after sales service is the best I have ever known

Good price
Good price and the quality of the product is decent. HOWEVER the delivery operation that they have in place is absolutely awful. My first order took 3 attempts before i received what i paid for. The first attempt they weren't to blame as the courier truck broke down and they had to reschedule delivery, the second attempt they sent the wrong colour to what i actually ordered. The third attempt they got right. I also ordered some trimmings for the decking on a separate order, which only 1/3 of my order has been delivered. The rest is on some other delivery truck waiting to be dispatched (what's the point in that, why not send everything together). When you call up to find out what's going on, they always say we will call you back to let you know what's happening but that's the last you hear from them. Just from my own personal experience using Tough Decking, i don't think i will be recommending them to anyone else, purely on the basis of their Delivery process. They themselves are very quick with getting the product out and sorting out any issues, but the aftercare and delivery process is terrible.

Thank you for all your orders and in honesty, i would probably feel the same, given the problems you have had.
Our company and dedicated staff have faith in the products we supply and in the service provided to our customers.
In truth, we have let you down on the service side. One thing i am surprised in your comments is the failure to call you back. Keeping customers in the loop and getting on to couriers when there is a problem, is usually one of our strengths.
With many of our colleagues being from a trade background, we understand the importance of a delivery ETA and letting customers know as soon as possible of any delays or issues.
With so many orders going out at this time, this could have been a cause for the delay in getting back to you and potentially a factor on the picking of your order on the 2nd attempt. As a goodwill i can also see we did send over £100 worth of edgings/trims to make up for this error, but appreciate this may have been overlooked due to your experiences.
I can only sincerely apologise for all the inconvenience. We will endeavor to be better in the future.
Please let me know if i can be of further assistance and thank you for choosing Tough Decking. Hopefully, the quality of the product, eventually will mask the failures with your delivery.

Great price
Great price. Quality seems same to more expensive shops like wickes and b&q. Terrible delivery process. After you pay 145£ for delivery they send a courier that has no means to offload a pallet and no right or will to offload by hand, so my wife had to ask a neighbour to help her, imagine getting a parcel and having to get into the van to get it yourself. For 145£ delivery should be better, but overall good product and quick delivery.

Due to high volumes being shipped out and because of your location, a 3rd party hauler was used for your delivery.
We do our best to inform customers of the nature of how the decking will be delivered on worst case scenarios, in our delivery terms.
These would need to be marked as read before checking out online. Hope you can appreciate, this is not a small package that is being delivered by a next day courier, this is a sizable, heavy load being delivered.
We also should be explaining this to you, when our team call you to confirm a delivery date. If this what not done, then i am truly sorry for this.
Let me assure you and future customers, not all deliveries are made this way.
Unfortunately, on this occasion, you may have had an unhelpful driver that is not employed by Tough Decking, yet should of still provided a professional service.
Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience and hopefully the quality of the product and speed of receiving the decking makes up for the experience on the delivery.

Just have to say massive thanks to Andy & the team at Tough Decking & particularly the legend that is Graham. We have installed several large challenging decked areas & the decking itself looks amazing & is built to last but what sets this company apart is the customer service. Graham goes far beyond what one would expect from any company (& as a surgeon I really do have high expectations of what constitutes top performance & he smashes it!) His personal input, advice & professionalism to make sure it is all going to work is just incredible & reflects the ethos of the company. His commitment to ensuring their excellent product is right for you makes this company stand out a mile. I really cannot recommend them enough. In a competitive market you need a 'Graham' to take you to the top & if thinking of decking these guys really are the best.
