Terrible experience. Do not buy online from B&Q marketplace / or Trade point. If their subcontractors fail to deliver on time - they do not refund and enter you into an endless and pointless loop of you calling them to follow up for refunds. Placed two orders - One order via tradepoint for backer boards and screws and only the screws were delivered. Second order on marketplace for 12 bags of adhesive and their supplier only sent 2 and then supplier became covert & unresponsive - B&Q takes money immediately and then does not care about delivery and does not help resolve refunds. Have to now claim thru the credit card company. Avoid.

The young man that helped me at the till was professional, it didn't matter that I didn't know if I had a trade point account. He found me very quickly, scanned my goods. Very polite and friendly.

The actual in store experience was great at Grimsby. Staff were very helpful. What has let the whole experience down is the delivery and the off shore customer service. We bought some garden furniture which comprised 4 chairs table and parasol. Delivery was arranged for following Monday, received 2 chairs and parasol. On the phone to customer services for 45 mins told would be next day, no show again on phone and fobbed off again. 2 weeks later still no show.

You should get discounts from the word go not if you spend over 1000 trades don’t work like that

I recently ordered wood and paint. This was simple to do on the website and I was kept informed of delivery times, ahead of thr due delivery date, which was kept to.

The quality of products is seriously bad. I use B&Q for convenience but rue the day this company ruined DIY and destroyed top quality ironmongery business. I shop there out of necessity.
