Billy (Sales) was very helpful and attentive. No pushy sales. This is the 3rd car I've had from Trade Centre. Oshan (new to the company) processed my paperwork. Both Billy and Oshan were very friendly and pleasant. The Manager was also lovely, as was Jake. All in all, I am delighted to have been able to part exchange my vehicle and sort out the paperwork with no glitches during the intense heatwave! Thank you Trade Centre!!! xx

Now, all we need is for England to win tonight.
COME ON ENGLAND! You really CAN do this xxx

ROTHERHAM BRANCH - Flash Sale

We went to their 'flash sale' yesterday. We'd visited during the week to view the car we wanted. The salesman told us we needed to know exactly where it was, because we would need to be able to get to it immediately, due to the expected massive crowds, and to get there very early.
We arrived at 5am, having left home at 3;45 to get there, and we were 2nd in the queue. In the next 4 hours, another 9 people arrived but the atmosphere was great, and everyone agreed which car they were going for, with the exception of one guy, who arrived 3 hours after us. He said he wanted the same car as us but we were confident because we knew exactly where our car was and were ahead of him in the queue. My husband had been into the showroom at 7:30 am to use the toilet and 'our' car was still in place, so when the doors were opened at 9am, he ran straight to where the car should have been, it wasn't there!
By the time we found it, the other guy was standing smugly beside it. We approached the desk to ask what on earth had happened to be told 'oh, we had to move some around this morning " I said "what, in the last hour!". It seemed that only our car had been moved and given that our 'competitor' seemed to have gone straight to it, I can't help but think that there was some underhand dealing taking place.
Having spoken to everyone else, we were the only ones not to have got the car they wanted and we were left feeling stunned, bitterly disappointed and somehow cheated.
I now have absolutely no faith in this company and certainly would not consider buying a car from them.

Do NOT buy from this place.

Do NOT buy from this place.

Sold a faulty car that had a faulty airbag, faulty clutch and faulty cooling system that left me broken down on a dual carriage way within 48 hours of driving away. No call back on the day and left me driving around with it before deciding it wasn’t safe to drive 48 hours later. Took them 3 attempts to fix the clutch.

Be careful of the sales team - they lie on documentation and to your face. Offer no courtesy cars after 5pm and instead told me a random salesman would take me home!! With a courtesy car they couldn’t tell me if it was petrol or diesel. Very, very unprofessional place who care more about sales than people’s safety!! Met SO many people in Aftersales who wanted to reject cars because of so many faults!! AVOID.

Worst car company ever

If I could give 0 starts I would absolute abomination of a company and honestly wouldn’t recommended this to my worse enemy never mind anyone else sold me a car which has engine replaced within just a few months of owning the vehicle and now I want to reject the car constant refusal of fixing the car or providing courtesy car as the fault make this a danger to drive and when mentioned that my son needs to be in the car they didn’t care less don’t buy a car from this company unless you want headaches, bad customer service and pure lies from them

My name is Leon I bought a Peugeot 208 yl67 klz

Do not use this company!

Do not use this company!

They sold us a car that was of unsatisfactory quality. The car ran out of petrol on the way to the petrol station and then went into limp mode. They recovered the car in their own time and left a 73 year old lady without a car for 8 weeks, no courtesy car was offered as they advised they didn’t do courtesy cars. Emails to the complaints centre go unanswered, they refuse your right to reject the vehicle, picking and choosing which bits of the consumer rights act 2015 they adhere to. Despite repeated asks for timescales, full breakdown of works nothing was forthcoming, and kept refusing the right to reject. Even after knowing they were leaving a 73 year old lady who struggles to walk and breath and a carer for a disabled adult without without any form of transport, effectively making her housebound, they still didn’t repair the car for over 94 days.
Shocking treatment!
They also refuse to negotiate or enter into negotiation as they are not part of any ADR schemes and refuse to provide a name of a mediation company (as per the law) stating that they handle complaints in house, but then refuse to escalate internally to someone more senior

When we looked around the car we noticed a couple of small faults which they were only too happy to correct before we collected the car. This was done to a very high standard, the staff were helpful especially Jake who couldn’t do enough for us.

Bait advertising, no cars at prices advertised on the website

I can confirm what many other reviewers have reported: in my experience, Trade Centre UK appears to use misleading “bait” advertising.

Their website shows cars at very attractive prices, but when customers visit the dealership, those cars are not available, and the cars actually offered are priced significantly higher.

As of 06/07/2026, their Rotherham branch is advertising:

- 2020 Nissan Qashqai 1.3 DiG-T 160 Acenta
Mileage: 60,117
VRN: KN20 HXK
Advertised price: £6,999

- 2020 Vauxhall Grandland X 1.2 Turbo SE 5dr
Mileage: 40,481
VRN: NA20 ORV
Advertised price: £4,999

On 05/07/2026, we travelled from Manchester to the Rotherham branch specifically to view these cars. Neither car was available or could be found. Instead, we were told/showed that the cheapest similar cars were around £11,000 or more. In fact, the cheapest cars we saw on site were small cars such as a Citroën C1 or Peugeot 108, priced at over £8,000.

This is very disappointing and, in my opinion, harmful to customers. It gives people a false impression of the used-car market, wastes their time and travel costs, and may discourage them from considering genuine deals elsewhere.

I hope the Advertising Standards Authority investigates this type of practice, because customers should be able to trust that advertised vehicles and prices are genuinely available.

Anti-climax

Everything was going really well until I signed for the car to find it needed work and I had just done the veygo insurance to get it home and the tax but it could take two weeks. I'm stuck in limbo as I'm going to lose the GAP guarantee and clearly the condition was the car means it is worth less than I paid and if I don't get the car within 14 days I'm going to have to cancel the finance. I liked the staff but I'm let down by not being able to drive the car home after being told all vehicles are checked. I'm gutted

Terrible after-sales service

Although the sales team were very keen to get my business and the product was good value, the after-sales and collection service was very poor. The vehicle and the paperwork wasn’t ready when I arrived to pick it up, despite me giving them an extra day to do so. This resulted in me sat waiting around for a “couple of minutes” which was more like a couple of hours. There were also slight problems with the car, which I alerted the staff to, but which weren’t sorted. The interior and exterior hadn’t been cleaned before collection.

DO NOT deal with this company

DO NOT deal with this company. We bought a vehicle a little over 3 weeks ago. Within 12 hours the engine light was on, they lie through their back teeth to avoid dealing with the problems, we still have the vehicle as trade centre are totally incompetent. They will use any technique they can to get themselves out of a problem. They had evidently plugged our vehicle in and removed the light in order for us to drive away. They are crooks, please do not deal with this company, there are plenty of reviews online and on social media platforms that would suggest people have very similar issues on a regular basis. So also read elsewhere if you’re to believe this is just a bad experience.
