Bought the 22 panel solar system for thousands and thousands of dollars.
The system is good. The logistics are sub par.
There were a few missing items upon delivery.
Make a call and ask for them to be sent.
Ask about a courier as it will likely be faster. I live very rural and know a courier wont come to the door so we have a PO box that is fine for 99% of companies out there.
Not TD. It wont enter in our computer so we cant....
Are you too inept to sort a label another way?
So we wait for the truck...
3 weeks later it arrives..
We start the installation and find we need some extra parts. About 6 different things and just a handful of each.
Order online. 1 bag ships by courier funnily enough from Christchurch and arrives in 2 days. Not to our door but to a drop off point in town.
The other items, a truck rolls up nearly 2 weeks later, and we have had to put contractors on hold while we wait.
And then guess what. 1 bag of stuff is missing.
The driver just casually says if somethings missing we'll that's all I have as he strolls off, gets in his truck and dissappear as I stand there in disbelief.
I call the helpdesk, and get the "I dont know why that didnt get sent, ill check".
Nah you know what. Just give me a refund as im done.
The fact this is a proprietary system to TD is the only reason I had to order these parts from them
Thankfully I think i can get the clips elsewhere.
The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the system itself is good, but everything else is poor.

Goods worked perfectly and I'm very satisfied with the stove and oven.

I got suckered in with my first purchase a large top loader washing machine, it was great lasted 4 years when it finally kicked the bucket I blamed the over the top loads the kids had thrown at it. I mean all the other stuff I've brought still works fine?? Everything has broken down or needed to be replaced 2 fridges, 2 washing machines a dryer a microwave, a dishwasher, all just outside that 2 year mark. I'm currently waiting for my current washing machine to be repaired since the end of last month. The amount of money I've spent at the laundromat while I wait I could have brought a second hand machine that will almost definitely out live anything sold at trade depot. Never again.

Product was available. I was helped very quickly by a salesperson. While the salesperson was very polite he was very hard to understand. English needs to be better with some of your staff.

Excellent store with extremely helpful and friendly staff, great range of products with just-about everything we needed to complete our new bathroom fit-out.

We have dealt with trade depot before and have had great service but our last purchase was missing an item on delivery. We have contacted them and initally got a response asking us to confirm the photo taken by the courier, however we have not heard anything further despite contacting them again. So disappointing.

A huge store, but always worth the visit. Always great prices & we have found great products. Helpful Staff, a very pleasant & friendly lady on the checkout on our last visit just a few days ago. Have made a number of purchases at this store.

Visited the Hamilton Trade Depot to buy a new fridge/freezer and also enquiring about the solar.
Spoke with Grace who knew what she was talking about for us to understand.
Trade Depot Hamilton has an awesome worker in Grace.
I look forward to my next visit to catch up with Grace again for more info.

Great range of products at reasonable prices. Good quality.

Received two heated towel rails of which both were faulty. One with an electrical fault (diagnosed by certified electrician) and the other is crooked. Whilst I understand sometimes things go wrong and I’ve been unlucky…the fact that they won’t replace or refund until items are received back in their warehouse is ridiculous considering I’ve been waiting 5 weeks for them to be picked up from my porch! Numerous phone calls and messages, promises made that couriers will pick up! I even asked if I can drop them off somewhere…but no. I have a newly renovated tiled bathroom with holes in the wall where one was but has an electrical fault and it blew the power in the house! An emergency sparky cost me $$. Terrible service, still waiting! Trade depot do better this is unacceptable.

Update from 24 July. Now here’s the response from trade depot because it takes a bad review to get some acknowledgment . Surprise, surprise, they are still sitting on my doorstep and it’s now Monday 27th….

From Trade depot: I completely understand your frustration, especially after waiting so long, and I'm truly sorry for the experience you've had.

I can confirm that your collection is scheduled for tomorrow 25/7. I've also coordinated directly with our Dispatch Manager to help ensure this is completed as planned.

I understand that you've heard similar assurances before, but I've escalated this internally to help make sure the collection goes ahead.

Thank you for your patience, and I'll continue to monitor the progress until it's been completed.

Great service prices are not over the top.bought 7kg dryer delivery was quick .next on my list is front loading washing machine and delivery was free which is great recommend to all
