Easy to order items on line. I had a question which the on line chat answered.
No problems with delivery (although the box was damaged the items were ok) and I was happy with the items received.

I found exactly what I want, and at a great price. However I needed help with the ordering and creating an account, customer services are great - and a special thanks to Adam Levy. Adam spent a lot of time helping when I got rather mixed up with a simple task - and I would not have been able to solve it myself. I have now bought the chair I wanted for my disabled wife. Thanks Adam.

I needed a toilet seat and cover, online search revealed Trading Depot to be the best price - however, I was unsure which seat to order (there are thousands of them). Contacted Trading Depot via their website, and explained my dilemma. Nathan was very helpful, asked me to submit some photos to help with the identification of the seat I required. He then, on my behalf, contacted Ideal Standard, forwarded the photos I had provided, and then confirmed the model of seat I required.
Using that information, I ordered the toilet seat, and it was delivered within 24 hours.
Very impressed with the service I received from beginning to end, very helpful staff during the entire process, excellent communication keeping me informed of progress, and super quick delivery.

I had a broken cistern I needed to source and fix quickly. Live chat gave me clear info and after ordering I asked if the item could be sent asap. It was confirmed within a couple of hours and the item arrived within 2 days. Great to deal with a company that lives up to its promises. Thank you

What fantastic service from Nathan at Trading Depot. At the last minute we needed our product to be sent to a different address and Nathan managed to stop the original delivery and change it to the new address. He then made sure the delivery would happen on a specified date. His communicational skills were excellent and kept us informed both by email and telephone throughout the process. I've not received service as good as this for a long while. Thank you.

We purchased our new bathroom from another retailer and are currently going through a battle with them. We had to source a replacement toilet within 3 days and Trading Depo where able to supply and deliver where others failed.
Sadly, when we opened the box the toilet seat was damaged, but not an issue as Hermione dealt with it instantly and a replacement is on the way!
So refreshing to deal with a business and team that really do put their customers first.

Had a warranty issue regarding a spare part. Hermione responded quickly and liased with the manufacturer Blanco who quickly agreed to send out a replacement direct to me. Good work all round

I ordered the wrong toilet seat by mistake — my fault, not theirs. I started the return process the same day, before it was even fitted. Bought the correct soft-close one straight from Trading Depot while I waited on the refund.
Sent the wrong one back with picture in it's original packaging and got told no refund because of a small chip and a hair on it. I didn't notice anything when I opened the box, though to be honest I wasn't looking, I'd just clocked it was the wrong model, not that it was damaged. The "evidence" photos they sent had no order number or returns label anywhere in them, so for all I know it could've accidently been another customer's returned seat, not mine.
Paul Kane, the General Manager, was decent to deal with over email, I'll say that much and he's the only reason this review has 2 stars and not 1. But his argument boiled down to: I can't prove it arrived undamaged, they can't prove it left undamaged, so by their returns policy it's my problem until they receive it. I declined a partial the first time fighting my case and asked them to reconsider — heard nothing back, then chased twice to get a near-identical email repeating the same position. Back and forth we went until I just took the 50% to be done with it.

To be fair, it's entirely possible the seat was already damaged before it reached me but that can't be proven — I never inspected it closely.

But that uncertainty shouldn't default to the retailer's favour just because they say so, and that's exactly what happened here. £32 isn't worth arguing over but the principle annoyed me. It felt like heads they win, tails I lose, basically.

I'd already bought a second item from before returning the item in good faith while this was unresolved, before they'd even processed my refund.

Make of that what you will.

If i could give no stars i would.
Package delivery late and then unsuitable.
Sent back for a refund. Was advise to not stick labels on packaging. Assumed this was packing on items and not the standard delivery book. Bear in mind they stuck my address on a label on the box, I was refused a refund as a attached the returns address on the box they had labelled.
Totally conned.
Have to pay for goods to be returned to me so that I can now sell them on ebay to get back my money.

Very disappointing experience with Trading Depot.

I ordered what I thought was a full toilet, but it turned out to be only a toilet seat. Although this may have been mentioned somewhere in the description, I feel the listing was misleading and not clear enough for customers. The product title and presentation should make it obvious when the item is not the full product.

When I tried to exchange it for the correct full model, I found out they do not offer a simple exchange process. Instead, you have to return the item and place a new order.

The most frustrating part is the hidden cost of returning it. You can end up needing to pay **15% of the total cost of the purchase**, plus a collection fee. That is a lot of money just to correct what feels like a misleading listing.

This made the whole process expensive and frustrating. I would advise other customers to read every detail very carefully before ordering, because returning or exchanging may cost much more than expected.
