Very simple selling process, typical of Transact. I have been investing through Transact for over 15 years, and their service, both online and by phone is excellent. Their charges are constantly bei... See more

Brilliant Service!
Love that you can call and not have to wait on a hold line, after a few rings the team answer...Very rare these days!
The team have been very helpful with all the question I have had... Very happy!

Very helpful nothing too much trouble responded quickly to all calls and correspondence and understanding regarding my bereavement and helping me over the phone regarding forms etc especially as not so great on the computer side of things.

Complex stuff made easy - when my adviser suggested I move my pensions and ISAs to Transact I was a little dubious as I've not heard of them before.
The whole process was really easy - one fund took a while but not a surprise as I already know the admin at the other pension was really bad - hence the move. They've picked up the phone in seconds and actually gave me an answer straight away!
I've been so impressed that I've moved my company cash to take advantage of there high interest rates.

Accessible & helpful. Had need to call this firm yesterday to help with moving money between my account, and that of my wife for her ISA. The service team on the phone were very helpful indeed and we had it sorted in a jiffy - splendid service when compared to the banks that just seem to have a typical 'computer says no' attitude. Keep up the good work Transact....

Sadly, 1 star is the minimum otherwise it would have been a zero. Having received correspondence in error, and been inconvenienced by this, I drew this to the attention of Transact only to have them give my concern the most superficial of reviews and reply that it has nothing to do with them. There are other platforms out there - I suggest you use them especially considering the Transact fees!

I have been using Transact for 5-6 years now and I've needed to call them a few times recently about a few complex transactions regarding moving money between my account and those of my wife and children. The staff on the live-chat system have been super helpful in guiding me through how to do this - first rate service, keep up the great work guys. I also agree with another comment about the contrast between the service you get from Transact and the likes of the utility companies/banks/internet providers etc, these guys really have gone over and above to help

Excellent professional customer service. Spoke to a couple of the Transact team who phoned me back when asked, carried out the instructions as requested and kept me informed. I have had a PP with them for nearly 10 years. The fund has done very well in that time.
Would recommend

I have been with Transact for several years but today was my first direct interaction with Transact staff. Team members were supportive, clear, and efficient both in email and telephone correspondence. I particularly appreciated the care with which legal requirements were addressed and the explanations provided for each step taken.

Terrible service
Applied for a password and received a letter with my wife’s password !!
I asked again for a password and didn’t receive one!
Clearly complete incompetence

We have been with Transact for some many years during which time they talked us through the method of accessing our own portfolios so we could monitor. This has never failed and been hugely helpful however I should add that they absolutely always answer the phone and always have an answer to my queries. Thanks

Conflicting information between two platforms necessitated a late phone call. The responder at Transact was extremely efficient, clear in their feedback and correct in their calculations. Very helpful indeed. Transact responder was Ned.

I have just been in touch with two members of the Customer Service team - Zak and Louise - in order to increase my pension drawdown. They were extremely supportive and understanding an example of excellent customer service. In addition my action was only made possible by the excellent performance of my pension fund.

Still hanging onto my father’s pension fund - even though he passed away in October 2022. Should have gone to my mother - but she didn’t stay with us long enough. She was named as the beneficiary. Goal posts seem to move, we go around in circles. Even my solicitor can’t seem to make progress. Now that my patience is gone, the account handler has suddenly changed and the new person isn’t replying. Reading the Google reviews I’m clearly not the only one going through this experience….seems to be a recent trend with Transact.

Update.
After coming to Trustpilot to report my experience in the review below a very nice (and sensible) gentleman named Scott contacted my directly on my mobile to apologise for the issues I have been through. He then resolved the entire situation in a matter of hours. I'm very happy with the final result of my interaction with Transact and have improved my scoring to 3 stars from 1. If everyone that I had dealt with had behaved like Scott, then they would be receiving a 5 star review.
It seems to me that there is a "computer says no" type attitude amongst the administrative staff (the type that you'd expect in local government), which in my opinion should be a management concern. My issue could easily been escalated and resolved in a few days rather than 9 months.
After my father sadly passing away (who was full time carer for my mother who has dementia) I took responsibility of managing my mother's finances due to her mental capacity. Almost every company I have dealt with has done their best to make the process as simple and painless as possible. The banks simply went through a very quick process when presented with the death certificate and paid out the money. Transact however have been appalling. Since September 2023 (it is now July 2024) I have been requesting that they pay the tiny amount they hold in my late father's name (of around £8.00) to my mother. They were immediately supplied with the death certificate and then subsequently provided with a certified copy of the will. This was certified at the post office, which has been sufficient for every single other financial institution that I have dealt with. Not good enough for Transact though. They insist that it is certified by a solicitor, barrister, lawyer, chartered accountant. Seeing as it already cost around £50 to have the will certified at the post office it would be insane to spend even more having it certified yet again at even greater expense in order to get £8 paid out!
After already explaining that I have power of attorney due to my mother having dementia, MS and diabetes and needing full time care in a care home the "Client Services Manager" asked me for a certified copy of my mother's passport or driving licence. Surely you don't need to be a rocket scientist to predict that someone in my mother's condition does not have either of these documents.
The communication has been appalling, taking weeks to respond to an e-mail (up to 2 months).
At one point I was told that Transact had simply written off the £8, so I didn't need to worry about it. This is absolutely insane! Out of principle I rejected this and was then asked to pay £1 to Transact from my mother's account in order for them to pay it back along with the £8 owed to her. I did this immediately (on the 2nd of May 2024), but 10 days later I receive another e-mail saying that they now need the Grant of Probate.
I have now provided a scanned copy of this. Of course, this is not good enough for them to release the £9 that they now owe to my mother. Now they want me to post the original copy of the grant along with a signed executor instruction confirming the bank account details which they already have due to sending them £1 from it at their request.
I would highly recommend never using this company for anything in case of a bereavement. They are deliberately awkward and painful to deal with, which is the last thing you need after losing a loved one.

I have been dealing with the transaction services team at Transact for a few weeks now whilst moving my personal financial affairs between providers. I have to say that they Transact team have been consummate professionals and have been wonderful to deal with. Specific mentions go to Lewis and Molly, both of whom have been exemplary customer services operatives.
My lawyers contacted transact to liquidate my late mothers investments. After a week of waiting for something which should have taken a matter of hours, they requested documents that they had already received. Once this was pointed out they sent yet another form to my lawyers to complete. When i called to inquire what was taking to long to transfer funds, they would not talk to me despite me passing all security checks because they said i was not an executor on my mothers will. I am, but they did not have the correct information. For a company that is supposed to manage money and live in the digital age it's embarrassing how incompetent they are.
