I've had the most disappointing experience with Transfer Boss. I made a fund transfer through them since 24 October 2025 and had to request a refund after more than 96 hours of failure to deliver, severely leading to dissatisfaction and disappointment to my project. They've not refunded me till today, well over a month. They do not provide updates and whenever I call them, you can tell they are giving a rehearsed answer to get you off the phone. Their tone just smacks of a lack of concern for my money and you could see they're hardly listening. I suspect the management are mostly from an African country well known for disorder and they're now trying very hard to replicate the same standards of service failure, corruption and fraud here in the UK. It now increasingly looks like they at Transfer Boss themselves might secretly prefer for the company to go down if that would suit their mission best. I have since reported them to the Financial Ombudsman and still awaiting further updates. Sadly my bank is unable to go on and force a recovery at the moment. The UK financial rules should not be tolerating this sort of behaviour from a registered company.

I made a transfer over a month now for £1500 till now no payments, I angrily ordered a refund, and till now no refund, they are even so non-challant on the phone and you can even hear them laughing at you in the background! Absolutely horrible business! Will NEVER use them again, that is if I do not sue them for damages for holding unto my funds without any reasonable reason and causing me emotional distress!

No feature to reply to Transferboss comment below so I will edit this review and add my comments here! It is now 2 months and I have not received my 1500pounds back! Like i said, run far away from them!!! I am speaking to lawyers already and will be complaining to the financial Ombudsman asking for compensation! This is a ridiculous business practise in this time and age where customer experience makes or breaks your business! It's a shame!

Made payment for a transfer since Friday 7th of November no payment, on Monday 10th l requested for my refund was told 5working days and today 7working days no refund yet.
I guess this company is not a scammer

I transferred some money to Nigeria using this app since the 13th of November 2025, today is the 17th of November 2025 and still waiting for delivery. I emailed and sent them numerous messages but no reply. I will never trust this app again. I will advice no one to use Transfer boss again.

Horrendous, scam, poor customer service, worst, sh*t had been used to describe Transferboss, by other reviwers. All the phrases above is just a child's play, compared to the emotional turmoil you will face dealing with this coy.
I got my money refunded to my Bank Account today 11/11/2025 on a transfer made on 09/10/2025. That is 33 days of endless pain, frustration and emotional turmoil.
I wish I read trust pilot before sending N5M through them. After 21 days of their constant message ' we sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused' I reported to my Bank and provided all the information I had available. This was after I had contacted and lodged a complaint with Action Fraud Agency.
The pattern is obvious, any transfer in £K's through Transferboss, be sure it would be withheld and so begins the endless stories and frustrations. I am convinced this coy trades with customers money which they withhold and release at least after a 30day maturity.
I am grateful, that my money was recovered by my Bank or paid back by them or whatever. However, the main purpose of the transfer was defeated as I rue the losses I encountered and I am filled with so much regret. Hence, I repeat my initial slogan, 'save your sanity' and beware of making any huge transfer through this firm, as you will be in for a rude awakening.

If you know what is good for you, avoid this company like you would avoid a disease. I gave them £4,700 since 10th October 2025. It is the 3rd November 2025 - they first said they had technical issues and could not do the transfer to Nigeria. I then asked for a refund on 14/10/2025. They told me they will refund by 23/10/2025.. they didnt. I have spent more than 15 hours on the phone over 25 days chasing them for the refund. They have still not done it. They told me they will refund by 03/11/2025... the time has passed and they have still not processed it. I sit on the phone for almost an hour each time and they just say there is no update. They are thieves and their business will definitely soon pack up. Total rogues. Avoid doing any business with them if you love yourself!

The customer service is poor. They could do better by communicating with clients whenever there is delay in delivering services.
Whenever there is delay in delivering payment, they don't communicate to clients and when you contact them to know why your payment is delaying, they don't show empathy at all.
Letting your clients know that you're having delays would go along way.
Also, showing that you understand their frustration.
I have had more than 5 different experiences of delayed payments in the past, with no communication.

Same as most people they will tell you they are experiencing technical problem to bear with them and your transfer will be done soon. That is a lie just to give you hope and weeks later same story again... swindle.
Please report it to your bank or visa/MasterCard or debit card provider to recall your money. Let everyone be aware including fraud line to stop this happening.
I'm rating them negative -0 if there is such a rating that is what I'll give them.
Please don't let them promise you with refund because that is another way delaying you holding back your money. Run to your bank ASAP!

Transferboss are glorified scamming site. Do not put your money there as they will keep it for days to weeks looking for leverage. Expect mega cry when you use them. This is very sad. Am done with them.
Money transfer are instant. With them expect weeks or they refund you if the market goes down on them. Be warned. 😢

They're the worst online transfer company in the UK. There customer service is very poor. They are full of lies and not a good time keeper.
This is my second time of using them. First time, I thought maybe it a network issue, I got my money second day.
The one I made today was done around 7 a.m for an urgent family issue, up till the moment I'm writing it has not been paid, and the time is 4pm.

If you value your sanity, PLEASE avoid this company like a plague!!! I had used them in the past and they were reliable. Unfortunately, yesterday, I decided to use them again because their rates were only slightly better than Moniepoint that I usually use.
They asked for my Driver Licence details, I sent it to them. They asked me for a DVLA code, I sent it to them. Then the wait started. I called twice in the course of the day and their customer representative kept apologising, that there was a delay with their services, but my transfer would be done that same day. There was no one to answer me again after 6pm when I didn't see my funds, so I had to wait until this morning.
When I called again, my frustration got to me having to yell, and the customer representative was more concerned about the insults I hurled at them, instead of giving me a definitive answer of when my transfer would be done. She ended up going quiet on the phone, refusing to talk, until I hung up in frustration. When I called back, she again refused to talk, and was silent on the phone yet again. What is wrong with these people???
I had to call the Financial Ombudsman, who, after checking their website and seeing all the negative reviews, explained the complaints procedure to me which made it obvious that I would still have to suffer for at least 15days before they could act.
At this point, I decided I would call them again and tell them I would be lodging a formal complaint. The negative reviews were ringing all manner of alarm bells in my brain. It was at this point that the customer representative informed me that my transfer was completed. When I told her I would still write a negative review about my experience, she hung up on me.
That's my story. Henceforth, I will delete their app and block any emails from this company called TransferBoss. Something is wrong, and if they don't get their act together, their business will soon be closing.
