Thank you for your comment. We are sorry if you feel our service has not met the standard you required. We follow the East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Allocations Policy which uses a banding system to prioritise housing applicants based on need. We aim to match our customers with the most suitable homes when they become available, but we have 10,000 people on the waiting list for a home.
We understand you feel that the homes we have offered you have not been suitable, and we ask that you continue to bid on homes when they become available
Another option you can take is the mutual exchange route, which allows you to find a swap partner via ‘Homeswapper’. https://www.homeswapper.co.uk/

It's really depressing that they don't…

It's really depressing that they don't care about human rights and refuse to help me, even though I'm proven to be sick and I've uploaded every piece of evidence, but there's been no progress. I've been rejected four times and the level of need hasn't been raised. I'm really disappointed because I'm unable to work due to my illness and I can't move on my own.

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry to hear about your difficulties. We do everything we can to allocate homes to people who need affordable housing. How we allocate this housing is based on the allocations policy set out by East Staffordshire Borough Council. East Staffordshire Borough Council currently has 10,000 people on the waiting list, and we let 30 homes on average a month.

Please ensure that you have sent in all outstanding documentation and any new documentation for us to consider.

Please continue bidding to ensure we can match you with the right home when it becomes available. If your bid is successful, we will contact you to complete a pre-tenancy assessment.

Anti Social Behaviour

A housing officer with 21yrs experience in the job claims that "looking" at a neighbour or their garden is anti social behaviour and we must refrain from doing it. For curiosity I enquired with my solicitor if looking at someone is ASB. They informed me that it wasn't and they also informed me that no one, ie, a judge, the police, housing officer etc has the right to tell you what you can or can't look at............ except certain housing officers from Trent and Dove, who think they are above the law.

Absolutely terrible housing…

Absolutely terrible housing association. Wife is 70 and disabled, I'm 60 and disabled. They offered us a bungalow which we moved into 2 years ago. Being a tenent of theirs has meant it's been the worst 2 years of our entire life. Constant bullying and harassment from the housing officers. They falsify ASB claims against us with no evidence whatsoever. Dispicable low life people who are cowards and bullies. DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM THIS COMPANY...... YOU'LL BE SORRY.
