best to avoid

hired a vehicle for just over a day, problems started as soon as i made the booking. Customer service is poor, no mention of the £500 deposit before booking and was only asked for a couple days before the hire. Car was clean etc but representative at hotel where we picked car up was very unhelpful, instructed to take pictures of car which is understandable . Whilst doing this the camera they provided failed several times resulting in one or two pictures being taken and the representative eventually saying dont bother and was left at that. Biggest problem was once the car had been returned tripndrive are meant to send you a invoice withing 72 hours of drop off, invoice eventually received 7 days later. Invoice and emailed that followed was poorly written and didnt make much sense. I still havent recieved my deposit back depspite a timeframe of 72 hours mentioned from drop off, they say they havent "taken" the £500 as payment and is just on hold but it obviously still leaves you with -500 in the bank. I have sent 3 emails in regards to this deposit but no reply, very frustrated at this as car was returned 8 days ago. Best to avoid this company , its not worth the extra frustration and hassle.

Poor service - would never used again - pay a little more for another hire company

Had problems getting picked up by their shuttle bus so was late for an urgent appointment. Not collected in location they stated - no company signage on their van to help you identify them. They made no effort to find me. The hire car was very old and in poor condition. Gave the car back with same amount of (fuel gauge reading was identical when returned) but was charged for fuel as they disagree. Car use was only limited to 150 km so I was charged for every extra km. I would never use this company again. I should have paid a little bit more money for a reputable hire company because with all of the extra charges it didn't work out cheap.

I read your comments and Iam sorry that you did not appreciate this location.
We are a car sharing for travellers.
it is important to know that you dont drive cars like you can find in location societies you drive car's owners.
To make sure that members drive safe cars we only accept cars under 12 yeras old and under 180 000 kilometers.
In addition cars have to be brought clean and all technical controls have to be ok.
Before booking the car you have informations about car like a kilometers average and year.
When I check your booking i see you booked a Renault clio which has between 100 000 and 150 000 kilometers and from 2005.
This is the car you booked.
If you do not like the car when you arre in the parking, just know you can call the customer service and we can change car with pleasure if possible.

Regarding the gazoline charged i refunded the amount of 7,35 euros because it was written you took the car with 85% and gave it back with 80%, this amout was charged automatically.
I checked on your pictures and you gave it with 85%.
However, regarding kilometers we charged the amont of 13,40 euros because you had 150 kilometers included in the price and you did more.that's why we charged this amount.
Just know that we have different options included "additional kilometers" that you can buy before taking the car and it is 40% less expensive.

To finish regarding the shuttle which picks up you at the airport, you have to call them to the telephone number written on you booking confirmation, then you have to wait about 10 minutes.
We apologize if you waited more the high of august should be the reason.

I hope you understood better our operation with these details.

Excellent service.

Very good ! You can have the same service as a rental agency but a 1/2 of the price. I rent a very big car at the cost of a small one. The shuttle bus airport-parking is very fast an on time. A very clever idea to share cars.

Top alternative to business car rentals!

I travel a lot for work and have been using the same rental company for years.
Now TripnDrive is what I call cost-killing and outstanding service.
Would use it again even for personal car hires.
We need you in other capital cities!
