The online shop Triuk is a shambles

The online shop Triuk is a shambles.
Like everyone else I was looking forward to getting a new bike. But this was soon to be cut short by TRIUK advertising stock they don’t have. They took my money, and then it took them 17days to tell me it was out of stock!!
Avoid buying from them as it will only lead to disappointment!!!

Same as many other customers

Same as many other customers, I bought a bicycle from them and after 14 days I received an email that my order was cancelled because they don't have the bike in stock anymore. I needed this bicycle to travel to office as it is being reopened and now I need to use the public transport instead which I don't feel comfortable doing in current situation. I am very disappointed and will never use them again.

Incredible deal on a wheelset!

Firstly, there is no doubt these guys are going through a tough time at the moment. It's extremely difficult to get hold of them (short staffed) due to Covid restrictions, therefore you will be very lucky to get through on the phone (I did once after more than 30 attempts over different days), and email responses can be a bit hit or miss. This can be extremely frustrating/worrying when you are spending a considerable amount of money. I did eventually get an email response from a staff member who was very helpful and explained that they are experiencing 'a major stock system failure which has been continuing since lockdown.' He went on to say 'We do have a brand new system on the way which should have been implemented in June but because of Covid has been significantly delayed.'

This explains why many people are having orders go through and later on get cancelled due to no stock.

I must have been one of the lucky ones as the wheelset I ordered was in stock and I did receive it within the 10-14 day delivery period that they are currently quoting. Everything arrived well packaged and in excellent condition and the price was unbelievably good! No other retailer came close on price. I am extremely happy with the product and although customer service and communication needs improvement, I think these guys will be getting further custom from me once they sort themselves out.

When somethings too good to be true.. it usually is!

As others have experienced; bought some cycling shoes for £56 plus £5 postage.. was advised about their waiting time

Didn't expect them to come through at all.. surprise surprise.. refund after 10 days of initial purchase!

Time wasters, first and last time i'll use this questionable excuse for a company

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service, the worst I have had the displeasure to deal with. I ordered several pairs of cycling shoes, top and helmet in June. Half of my order arrived two weeks later, the other half is still in limbo. I returned the shoes I did receive with no acknowledgment of receipt (or refund yet!).
No response to emails or phone calls, means I am left 750 pounds out of pocket with little way of complaint and may need to contact my credit card company to chase the money.
This is not a good online experience!

Online Stock Is A Lie.

I ordered a Cervelo R3 from TRIUK and awaited the order. They have a disclaimer that it will take 14 days to deliver due to Covid, which was fine. After the 14th day I receive an email to tell me they have no stock of the Cervelo, won't offer an alternative and will refund me within 3 days. They informed me that stock still appears on their website as in stock, but don't order. This seems to be their business model, as reading other people's reviews, they've done this time and time again. Really poor service!!
If they don't have the items available, don't put on the website that it is in stock and take people's money.

The worst experience shopping I’ve ever…

The worst experience shopping I’ve ever had.

No one from TRI UK answers the phones or responds to emails. I even drove to their Mansfield store to find out what was happening with my order - the chap I spoke to was completely disinterested in dealing with my query.

Order cancelled by Tri UK as no stock. Relieved to have got a refund.

Waiting a month. No way to contact

Placed an order a month ago. Still I’ve not received it. 2 emails have been left unanswered. Tried to phone them today a few times. Each time in the end it goes to voicemail (which is full). Appalling customer service

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE and STOCK LEVEL MONITORING

Ordered 10 items. Didn't have the stock they claimed to have, but still took my money, then emailed to say that I could either cancel the entire order, or have a partial refund and be sent the small number of items (4) they did have. I replied 2 hours later choosing to cancel the whole order, and 4 days later they tell me they have ignored my choice and have sent out part of the order. Awful customer service, delivery will be rejected, and no doubt I will have to waste more time making sure I get the refund they offered and I confirmed in the first place! AVOID!!!

Poor service - no stock?!

Poor service, ordered items two weeks ago only for it to be cancelled due to being out of stock. Your stock management seems to be pretty inadequate. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a common occurrence. Seems like I just got used for a short term loan...

I placed an order for a Cervelo R5, and never got it, AVOID

I placed an order for a Cervelo R5, Met Trenta helmet and some bottle cages. The order came to approx £2400,I waited patiently for the anticipated 14 days to dispatch and on the 14th day received an email saying that the order had been cancelled and I would receive a refund (which I did 4 days later). I can't believe that a company is allowed to take thousands of peoples pounds hold it for two weeks and then go, erm sorry we don't have this. Coronavirus is not an excuse for this, at best it is laziness/ incompetence, at worst it is illegal, in all cases how this company is allowed to keep taking consumers money in good faith is beyond me. I have recently reordered a bike from a different (not scamming) e-retailer and they don't take the money until the product is dispatched on large orders. Why not do this Tri-UK ,rather than taking your prospective customers money (in the form of interest) as you obviously should not be trusted with it, until you post out the product. tldr. AVOID!

Top staff in store

I picked up my new bike today from the Yeovil store. Jake ran through the different parts of the bike with me and helped me pick out the accessories and other bits I needed. Overall, staff were great, friendly, knowledgeable, I didn't feel rushed and am very happy with the bike. Massive sale was on and picked up some bargains too.

What a sh#t company!

What a sh#t company!! Payed good money for an Ebike and after 7 days they cancel the order with a bull sh#t Covid excuse.
Have to wait 7 days now for my money to go back into my account. I've noticed that I'm not the only one with this issue.this has to be illegal!! Are they skimming interest? Hopefully trading standards find out..

Took longer than expected but bike was a bargain

It took longer than expected and received the bike on the 17th working day since ordering. In the meantime was contacted directly by Davina e Sarah who were fantastic in explaining the situation and reassuring that they had stock issues but that my bike was at the Glasgow store waiting to be checked ahead of dispatch. I appreciate that many experienced issues in dealing with triuk in the last few months but this is my honest experience with them. One suggestion is to get a better online tracker and to give realistic delivery times, so that people is reassured that orders haven’t been forgotten.

Same old story..

Ordered 2 bikes and a pair of shoes all cancelled. Have received money back for the shoes but not the bikes (Value £9000). I could understand if this was a one off but it looks like its been happening for a couple of months now. Would be interesting to see how many people have been effected by this and how much interest Triuk has banked form our money.
Something found on a legal site:
if they took payment from you, knowing that they didn’t have the item in stock, weren’t intending to try to get the item for you and were purely trying to hold onto your money (until such time as you demanded it back.) The offence here would be one of fraud.

Ordered, money taken, "in picking", refunded!

I ordered a Cervelo R5 from Tri UK a couple of weeks ago, and they were more than happy to take my money. Moved on to "in picking" and then today received an email, Covid-19...very busy...logistics... If you state in stock then it is at best false advertising, at worst fraud, to sell the product if you don't have it in stock. Shocking. Think twice about buying from these cowboys.

Ordered, Forwarded, Packing and Finally Cancelled

If you want to get disappointed then come to triuk.com. A complete and utterly useless sports company. I ordered a carbon bike on sale and after a week they canceled the order and blame synchronicity of stocks and the pandemic. If you stop selling then everything stops therefore you do not need to synchronize your stock availability and website. You just simply start where you left off. This is just an excuse not to honor the sale. Pathetic company.

Completely useless, stay away!

What is going on with this store? Trying to contact them via email and phone for days now as a shoe order is well overdue. No response to emails and phone diverts to a voicemail inbox that is always full so you can't leave a message.
Stay away from this lot... You have been warned!!
