Unreliable and disappointing service
We spent a lot of time researching high quality building firms in Truro and after a couple of site visits (and receiving a professional quote) we booked Truro Building Services for a renovation project in our home.
Understandably we had to wait 6-7 months before the building work could commence (due to the Covid backlog) but we were reassured everything was booked in. As such, we spent the time ordering new windows, supplies and organising the other trades.
When the time came to start the project we tried to call Andy at Truro Building Services to agree a specific start date but we couldn’t get hold of him. So we tried again and again multiple times over several weeks, including emails, texts and voicemails but we got no response.
With no response after a month, we had to give up and start the process of finding a new builder causing huge delays to our project.
All we can assume is that our work was dropped as it wasn’t important enough.
We understand things change but at the very least we’d expect to be told if work can no longer be complete, especially after having it booked in for 6-7 months.
Ignoring someone is rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend Truro Building Services.
