Terrible service

Terrible service. Installed boiler on Tuesday, electrician can Weds to do wiring, since he has left there is no hot water. Been calling on Thurs and Friday to get this sorted, got told we will have to wait until Monday for the electrician to come out and take a look. No wonder the local council has switched to Village Heating going forward, the service is rubbish!

Boiler was working perfectly fine..

Boiler was working perfectly fine... Was just booked in for its annual gas safety check.
Everything OK apparently....until I turned the hot water on at tea time to wash up and now no hot water due to 'water shortage and safety shut off' showing.
So...maybe don't bother tampering with anything as it is obvious it's down to the engineer who has caused this problem. Now on a 24 hour call out...which means from when I called at 6.30pm to 10pm...then from 8am onwards tomorrow...if its emergency call out, treat it as one, not "give us a call back tomorrow".

X2 24 emergency no show

I Cannot even explain how crap this services is. Noone cares, I have Cardiomyopathy heart problems so at risk to infection. I told them this 2 week no hot water. Now I have an infection and just come out of hospital. I fed up my mental health is at a all time low. I had 2 12 hours emergency one on the weekend and they did not even show. My granddaughter was born and need to be there to see her. When they come and visit the try it after u tell him they see that I was right. Then they can not wait to be out the door. Fed up with them

A diabolical fraudulent company

A diabolical fraudulent company. With a no show, I contacted TSG and was told the inspector had been and that check's can be done outside. Paper work came through..., much of the inspection is indoor only yet the inspector has falsified the information even for Smoke Alarm and CO Monoxide Alarm inspection on the form. Landlord has been contacted and with other detail's not mentioned here. IT does make you wonder what other customer paper work forms have been filled in with false information even fraudently signed in the customer's name.

I don’t know how this company is still…

I don’t know how this company is still in operation. Why do social landlords and council still us them, no hot water, no heating for days now. When you call the CS are so rude it makes you even more angry. They constantly change appointments times and dates. It a disgrace that with all these companies knowing what they are like and the complaints made they are still using them. They stated that my reports over the past couple of days has not been logged. That’s not a me problem that a TSG problem. I’m sure they have heating and hot water

Terrible

Terrible, unreliable and unqualified - really not fit for purpose! I’ve had a heating problem since 19 November 2022. TSG we’re working with Vaillant (gas boiler company) and between the 2 companies, it has taken 3 months to get a simple flu replaced (2.5 year old boiler) so we had no hearing and limited hot water over the snow period. It was freezing in my little house. I am a vulnerable person but they could not give a hoot! We had engineers out but all but 3 of them said they were not qualified to touch the system. So for a few minutes voice time, they were probably paid very well! Finally, after ringing TSG every day for 4 weeks and every other day for a further 6 weeks, they finally came out and drained my radiators. BUT, one of them is leaking and the engineer said he would come back as the washer needed replacing due to corrosion and that it was a 10 minute job. That was on Monday 6 Feb 2023. Yes,the leak has worsened. I have phoned TSG in a weekly basis since (this morning too) and was advised to put in a complaint but that no timescale could be given. I am still waiting! How TSG ever won the tender for this contract (Southern Housing), is a mystery - there must be a lot of backhanders going on! In the meantime, my floor is getting drenched! Extremely badly managed company and never any managers available! DO NOT USE this company!!!

This company is a disgrace

This company should not be allowed to continue. 2 months without hot water with an autistic child in the house. Constant missed appointments, lies and the most rude customer services I have ever dealt with.

If I could give zero stars I would.
A few weeks back I received an appointment for a gas safety check, I phoned and cancelled it as I was at work and they had given me 5 days notice. The next day I received another text confirming the appointment, I called again and said I had cancelled it-they cancelled it again. The day after I received another text confirming the appointment, I phoned for a 3rd time and told them not to come as I will be at work, the cancelled it for the 3rd time. Sure enough on the day, the engineer turned up whilst I was at work and couldn’t gain entry.
I have recently got another appointment through which was for today, between 8-1. I’ve stayed in all morning and no show. I called the office, as it’s a Saturday it went through to the out of hours, a miserable, unhelpful, unapologetic man answered (18/02/23 ) said he couldn’t do any thing as he has no access to the office info. No apology, nothing.
Hardly a great impression of this company. They have been shocking at every possible step.
I hope southern housing see sense and realise that all there tenants can’t be wrong! Probably cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Shameful company got no heating and hot water had to turn the mains of because of the constant overflow pipe in the garden.A emergency engineer came out took a video that I could have sent them and said it’s really bad and they have to get someone out asap.Unhelpful staff on customer service

No heating from 30 november

No heating for 1 week. All I do is call them and they keep telling me the same thing, that they are calling me back or waiting for information. I feel like my children are not a priority. I called the ambulance for my son last night as he is having difficulty breathing and the cold in the house is too much to bear as there is no hot water. The fact that I call every day and they don't take our request into account makes me want to bring this up. I am thinking of calling the BBC as no family should have to suffer this incompetence. Also a woman and it's always the same woman who when she's on the phone doesn't let you speak so she doesn't listen to your request completely. This repair service is useless. You can see that the social landlords take them on because they are cheap to run and they are incompetent to start with the telephone reception. If my child's health gets worse I will go to court as we are in cold weather. I just moved into the house 3 months ago and this type of problem is already stressing me out.

staff should learn to read notes and communicatee

I don't even want to give one star, the staff don't seem to communicate with each other r.e appointment times, I've lost money taking half day off work and leaving early three times for them not to turn up or even apologise and then turning up when you've asked for a different day, just so they can log they tried to gain access, when you spoke to them that evening on the phone, and they turn up on the wrong day when your mid bath do they think people don't work or have a life, love the photos on the website of the call handlers all smiling, perhaps train them it's not rocket science to take a call and send it to an engineer

having read the reviews left by other people I'd just like to let you know boiler spares do not generally take weeks to get hold of, they are pretty much next day, I work in boiler spares so I know this, you can also find out by ringing any plumbers merchant and giving them the g c number on the front of your boiler, most contractors use all the main plumbing merchants and they can get them the next day

I truly have no words left

I truly have no words left.
First reported this end of August.
Now the entire November with no change. I was given appointments everyday with the help of my housing mid November to be let down and with no notifications again.
I actually got that cold sitting around waiting trusting the housing would get through to them.
With all my medical issues I have in which I explained both to housing and property services after complaining. I am far from getting this resolved. Im just hoping the housings that have hired these clowns will not renew their contract. They are irresponsible and compulsive liars that that have caused immense suffering towards me and God knows how many others.
My question is why still use a useless company knowing full well they have no respect towards our landlords and their tennants.

So my mum is 74 and is seriously disabled,
She hasn't had hot water or heating for 8 weeks now, this team if you can call them a team..from the administration team to the cow boys they send around..no communication skills lie about attending to saying they had an emergency to coming in the house to say oh I'm not sure why I'm here!! To the tsg workers saying oh I have the wrong part... and not turning up.... im fuming how do this company sleep at night knowing they take money for jobs and these cowboys don't do nothing in the day to day working day.. my mum know has blow heaters in all rooms which is costing her a fortune..which I will be billing you for..please be assured this TSG company is a fraud abd please do not let them do any work coz u could be dead by the time they attend the property....

COMPLAINT FOR LUCK OF COMPETENCE

Where to start,
This is the worst we've ever been treated, Southern Housing Group really needs to think about TSG making their repairs they are totally incompetent.
We had an expansion vessel explode on Sat 05th November because of a water leak we have probably had for ever (since we keep calling almost for a year telling them the water pressure on the boiler keep going down and no one bother to check the issue just top up the pressure).
They left us with no running water this means no facilities for 5 days with people over 60 in the property, we had to collect rain water to flush the toilets, have showers and do laundry in friends houses (so please to have good friends and neighbors), they also gave us water in buckets so we can do dishes and cook.
No one reported the issue on the day so I had to call back and report it again, they then come last week Thursday with the wrong part!!!! so it takes another 2-5 working days for a new part to be ordered. Ok I called and begged for them to assure me they have the right part, for them to tell me there is no way for them to show me just promise me that they do. Some one turn up today asking us if we have the part as he was only sent to fix the issue and that we had the part? I mean seriously. We also found a new problem under the boiler some rust as well the week before and the guy who came took pictures and sent to the main guy in TSG Dom who assure him he will deal with both issues. The engineer that turned up today saw the problem and switched the boiler off and in so many words said that we could have died of carbon monoxide poisoning as the leak on the boiler is extremely serious!!!!!!! I have no words to express my anger and utterly disgusts at how we are being treated. Do you really expect us to pay full rent this month? I don't think we should.

Absolute garbage this shower of cowboys…

Absolute garbage this shower of cowboys recently installed new radiators and a boiler at my property , the radiator installer was rude , intoxicated and uninterested the boiler installer.
Less than 3 weeks later one radiator leaked and the boiler failed and lost pressure I am disabled and have two young children and was told someone would attend before 10pm that night..
Lo and behold no one attended when called back was told tsg DO NOT OFFER A 24HOUR EMERGENCY SERVICE but finish at 10pm and was told someone may get out tomorrow ,when I told the receptionist I was disabled she replied "and" absolutely disgusting firm do not deal with them

Wouldn't even give them 1 star. Boiler broken. Will only source the part from their supplier (despite being available at a merchant 200m away) - therefore without heating & hot water for over a week. Apparently it's acceptable to leave teenage girls without access to keep clean during their menstrual cycle. If you can get through on the phone without being cut off the staff a rude and unhelpful. AVOID THEM.

Poor Customer Services /Installation Team

Said company was contracted to replace my broken boiler, the boiler man and the builders who did the installation were really professional however the company and its customer service team is the worst I have experienced. I spoke with a lady who was so rude and just plain defensive. They also booked an appointment without informing me and claimed that they had no access to the property. I am hoping the electrician comes to complete the last piece of the work so that I do not have to ring and speak to their rude installation team customer service team again.
