Experience with Twitter /X

I will say Twitter has got an a bit better. Since Elon Musk has bought it. It's not being sensored as much I've noticed. That said though I do have problems with that. They're still online. I'm toxic people on there and if you report them. I don't feel like a kids done very well. I don't really like how it's called x now, not Twitter. I miss the bluebird on there. Why did I have to get rebranded to x. X is my favorite letter of the alphabet. Even I don't like it being changed. It just makes it look like another generic Social media platform. I don't think it's as bad as it was before, but it's still not great.

Enterprise on 211 in Middletown NY- the nastiest people I have ever met. The day of pick up, they advised me that for a 12 plus passenger car- a credit card is required, but I was not informed. My husband had to call them to confirm the reservation and when he came in the day before to make sure the van was available- he was never once informed that a credit card was required for large vehicles and when he went the day of pick up he was told that a credit is required. When he asked why he wasn't informed of this, when he spoke to someone via phone and in person, they lied and said I heard my coworker tell you when she called you. But my husband called them. They were so unprofessional!! They refused to help in any way. So i had to go pick up my husband and during my break from work from a hospital job, which is not easy to get a break most times and 30 mins is all i had, but I went to give him my car. When I went in to speak to a manager and ask for the form that specifies that a credit card is required for large vans, she printed the form out and when I read it with her and saw that it did not indicate it- I asked for her to call the hot line to file a complaint. She refused and so I asked her to provide me with the number. She did and while I was holding the paper, standing at the desk she snatched the paper out of my hand and ripped it and refused to give me another one. There was no apology and no assisting me with other options at all. If you can avoid renting from here, please avoid at all cost. They are not helpful or friendly people at all and they just lost the company money. Now, I have to find a rental last minute and hope they its 1. affordable and 2. available. My sister is married to a man in the Marines and I have not seen her or her new born baby and they are being stationed else where after Thanksgiving. So now, I won't even be able to meet my 2 month old nephew and these people at the Middletown office did not care enough to help me with other options. If i could rate this a zero I would!!!!!! They ruin my thanksgiving with my family, who dont live right around the corner.

I made a account yesterday to share the gospel and connect with like minded believers and within 24hrs they banned me for sharing the gospel and telling like minded people Happy Sabbath weekend,
Elon Musks platform seems more against Freedom of Speech than any platform I been on the last 24yrs.

Honestly Trash

It's been few little month and so and my experience on this website is like a tumbleweed rolling on a totally not so bustling small town. I came here to get Youtubers attention, but I guess that ain't happenin for a free user like me (if ever was that easy...). All the views I get is either possibly bots or few random peoples who just don't know don't care. The 'For You' and 'Who to Follow' sections are cr*p (fill with things I don't want or care about) and that's all you need to know.

Lack of Free Speech
I was just banned by X / Twitter for posting a news video of a group of Israelis chanting a song in which they expressed their desire to drink blood, mass hang a certain group and commit sexual assault against that groups 'girls'.

Because I described the words they were singing in Hebrew, in English, that was considered by X / Twitter to be anti-semitic. They were singing those words not me - I simply translated it. Essentially describing this groups behavior automatically is antisemitic because they are Israeli and thus Jewish. Its like criticising a group of Italians for obnoxious behavior and being labelled as anti-Italian because the group is Italian... but the criticism is in fact not of Italians but the actions / words of the group itself.

Illegal / Exploitative Subscriptions
If you are a subscriber to Twitter / X and you get suspended you lose access to Twitters / X's unsubscribe option which means Twitter / X will continue to bill you essentially forever. The companies contact option appears to be a dead end.

Solution:
For anyone using Twitter / X if you subscribe - immediately unsubscribe after the process is complete as if you do get suspended banned you won't get stuck on an auto renewal. You'll just have to resub / unsubscribe each month after that.

Unsolicited / Inappropriate Pornography
Twitter / X ads are often highly explicit and or offensive. I have had images of female genitalia pop up in my feed as well as advertisements for sites selling 'family' related sexual content.

Race Hatred
While certain races are protected on Twitter / X, some groups are not. Twitter / X currently has some extreme groups promoting anti-Black, Anti-Immigrant and Anti-Arab content that is highly illegal in some countries. One of the worst I saw was a person who posted an image of a little girl of about 5 who was killed in Lebanon- the poster commented 'I'm glad she died but I wish I could have watched her [sexual content] before she died'. Despite being reported, it appears this little kids ethnicity resulted in this person being allowed to stay on the platform and rather than suspension the persons post was visibility limited instead.

The worst customer service I have ever expereinced

The worst customer service I have ever had. Borderline illiterate, they did not read or comprehend the issue at all and then told me there was nothing I could do. Apparently they cant help me if I no longer have access to the email my account is connected to when my account is compromised (I was emailing from the email associated with the account and told them as much from the get go)

Suspending account with no reason and bot like responses

They just suspend your account for no reason. Customer help desk keeps sending bot like responses on your appeal without any proof. No moral or shame, they suspend your account after purchasing premium and don’t refund or anything. This is the most absurd platform and service of all time.

This is a bad platform to be on, it won't allow you to express yourself, if you are allowed to express yourself you're only allowed to do it in a manner they want you to do it. Even though what you're seeing and what you don't want to see shows up. So everybody else but yourself is allowed to have freedom of speech and post what they want. As soon as you post something or as soon as you comment truthful things your account will be suspended permanently disabled. This has happened to me multiple times on multiple accounts. The only accounts that seem not to get disabled are the ones with pornography on them.

I was permanently suspended from Twitter because I tweeted that a man who pumps his body full of hormones to be able to breast feed a baby was pedophilia. I don't think I broke any of the rules. I didn't call for violence etc.

Unjust Suspension and Lack of Support

I am deeply disappointed with my experience on Twitter. My account (@A5medv) was unjustly suspended on October 17, 2024, without any clear explanation or justification. As a dedicated content creator in the football industry, my Twitter account is essential for my livelihood, and this suspension has caused significant financial distress and harm to my professional reputation.

Despite my efforts to comply with all platform rules, the lack of transparency in their decision-making process is alarming. I have reached out multiple times for clarification and support, but I have received no meaningful response. Furthermore, I suspect that my identity as a bisexual, secular Muslim from a predominantly Muslim country may have influenced this unjust treatment.

This experience has made me question Twitter's commitment to user rights and fair treatment. I urge the company to review its policies and ensure that no other users are subjected to similar unjust actions.

X's customer service is terrible

X's customer service is terrible. They don't read your response and then respond with a copy and pasted answer, signed with the extremely personal 'X SUPPORT'. They just send you running in circles like a chicken with your head cut off. They've suspended accounts, locked me out, and now won't let me close them. You should be allowed to close your account by providing a government issued id if you don't remember the email account you've used to sign up. What if you've closed your email account and your provider can't open it up again? Ridiculous. I feel like I'm talking to a robot instead of a human. There is no empathy.
