It is an alright prop firm honestly. Just certain rules are not explained well and there is no leeway when they are breached. Accidentally placed a trade 3 min and 49 seconds before news (their rule i... See more

Average prop firm. Standard rules to pass challenges. They do payout but only after doing everything they can to avoid it. They have become very dishonest which is disappointing since when they started (as top tier trader) they advertised themselves as a fair firm that was made by traders, for traders. For example, their consistency rule is really just a way for them to avoid paying their funded traders. It’s frustrating that even though I was over $8,000 in profit, I still couldn’t withdraw because my largest day happened to earn $3,519. It punishes traders for capitalizing on their edge when market conditions are right. I literally had to cap my profits on trades just to be able to request a payout which is pretty ridiculous. They want traders to fail before they can ever get paid. And if you’re a good trader, their consistency rule basically stifles your potential and punishes you for having a good day even though that’s what we’re supposed to do as traders! Their “24 hour payout or extra $1,000” guarantee is also a complete lie. Even if they take longer than 24 hours from the time you submitted your request (not including weekends) they will not give you the extra money. They conveniently changed the rules so that they essentially never have to pay it even if your dashboard clearly indicates that it took them longer than 24 hours to pay. They say the 24 hour timer starts from the moment they send the “you have been paid out email.” The thing is, they NEVER send that email. They should just be honest and say that they’ve suspended that rule. If they were honest the timer would start from the moment you receive the email saying they received your payout request which is what it used to be. Otherwise, it’s just a social media bait and switch gimmick to get people to sign on with them. Again, they’re not an awful firm, there are certainly far worse out there but as they’ve grown they’ve definitely gotten away from empowering their traders through genuine transparency and have become more corporate and money hungry. Essentially, they’ve lost the honest character that distinguished them from other firms when they first joined the scene. Previously, if someone had asked me which prop firm I would recommend, it would have hands down been TX3 (top tier), but now I would definitely tell them to research different firms to compare rules because now TX3 is no longer the best. If I didn’t already have two funded accounts with them I would look for another firm to work with. As I earn enough to fund my own account, I will no longer trade with them. Trading is about honesty and freedom which TX3 doesn’t represent anymore. I used to love top tier because it felt like I was trading for a company that wanted me to win. Now it seems like traders like me win in spite of them which is incredibly sad.

I tried to enter to the website of TOP TIER TRADER and leave me at this company (so I assumed they are related and just changed their name or opened a new corporation either way they bought their domain name so probably they wan't to do businesses with that old domain so with that on mind I want to clarify that my personal experience with TOP TRADER) They practically together with the only broker they used at the time (Traderlocker) were making very stranges actions with their customers trading accounts. I had experience of a couple of years so I'm not a newbie and that don't happens by my inexperience. First of all was very common that during your trading sessions their SERVERS were suddenly freezing as their said "our servers were very busy" and then suddenly you can't access your account for a couple of minutes so was very difficult to make manual trading or . Other common strange activity was that if you trade by limit orders a couple of times happens that your order TP or entry was missed even if in the chart you saw it was reached but when the opposite happens (your SL are supposed to don't be touched, suddenly it was touched anyways and you arte out of the trade)so the spread are not so good. The customer service was very poor and when you made a claim usually they told that that was a broker problem and not theirs and when you claim to the broker that they chose said the same thing but viceversa (that this is not their fault that I should contact Top Tier Trade). 1 and a half year trying earn a penny from this company and I never could due to ALL the difficulties they add to your regular trading (in the Challenge with the same strategy I reached multiple times their goals and in live trading their platform and software were very very differents and almost impossible to have a 3 trades in a row without any "technical problem" or any shady transaction to make 10x more difficult your tradings. Avoid this companies and all these future headeches!

SCAM ALERT!!!
There are hidden fees when trading. If the trade is very small everything is OK. But if you use larger positions they will add more fees making it super expensive. To avoid these fees you can open a few smaller trades but than the HFT rule comes in place and the profits will be removed. Such illegal practices should bring the owners to the jail.

SHAMELESS SCAMMERS!
They will slowly but steadily steal your whole account!
No matter what you trade they take much more than just the spread. Today I sold XAUUSD at 4143 but the trade was opened at 4153.5 So with every trade of two lots they take on top of the spread and the commission another 100$. With a 100k account 100 trades and your account is gone.
DON'T BUY CHALLENGES FROM THEM!

I been with them before and after the merge. They’re platform is great and the rules that are in place pushes you to be a consistent trader. The biggest issue I have With them the website is always down in some way or giving issues. We as traders know the smallest inconvenience can messes us up. Too frequent issues with website. I also Understand the merge could cause this but it’s not because it’s now many weeks since after merge was done.

This is my first time trading with TX3, im currently only in my phase 1 test i will update my review as i progress. So far i have noticed a few things that are definately feeling off as far as the actual trading goes. The spread is 2-3 pips on eur/usd but so far out of about 19 trades, i have yet to get filled at the price i went for on my market order. Im almost always slipped an extra .1-.4 pips, and always in the direction that gives me a worse position. I am also slipped on my SL and TP. There have been 2x i was slipped in a way that was beneficial by .1 and .2 pips but otherwise the rest are always putting me in a worse position by .2 - .8 pips which is alot. I trade cash accounts too and very rarely experience slippage like this. And its never higher than .2-.3. Commissions are basically .7 pips which is .1 higher than standard. No positive swap fees either, buy or sell your losing another .7-.8 pips on swap (Wednesdays are triple that but thats normal) all this adds up so you have to really be on your game with this firm. I still find this company to be worthwhile as you can earn money on an account size you may not have access to with your own capital. I traded FXIFY before but i switched because i heard from too many ppl issues with payouts and the payout time with them is too long, my strategy doesnt allow me to start trading mid-month so realistically i can only trade every other month with fxify, tx3 is fast from what i hear so far which will allow me to trade every month. On average i make about 10% per month so even with these issues with them it looks like ill be averaging about 3% less per month but its still beneficial for me. I signed up with MY email, used MY card to pay, and i trade my account only, nobody else, between desktop and on my phone so there should be no issues. I payed for the news trading but i dont ever place a trade less than 15 minutes before news, sometimes ill be in a trade during news though and the news release will trigger my SL or TP so its beneficial for me to have it, hopefully theres no issues there with breaching. I did get stopped out 10+ pips once beyond my SL during news but honestly that was normal, the market just jumped super far instantly. Im giving a 3/5 so far because of how inaccurate the system is and how consistently inaccurate it is against me, i have not found it to be congruent with how live trading my own money actually is. But for my startegy it is still doable and i can probably tweak my exits enough to compensate for this a bit without throwing off my stratgey significantly. Depending how you trade though normally, this can potentially really effect you.

I bought a 100k challenge & soon realized I couldn’t trade on Match trader. I contacted support about a refund & 3 days later got my refund. I appreciate it & wish this company the best!

They used to be a good prop firm till they switched their platform from tradelocker to matchtrader and it went to complete shit. The slippage is utterly unbearable. I would close my trade at breakeven and go to check the status and it would be at a loss and not just a small loss. I know indices are volatile but I didn't have that problem when trading with tradelocker. Wouldn't purchase from them again.

Horrible customer service and bad trading rules. A huge downgrade from toptier. New hidden rules that make traders breach their accounts. Really bad firm with bad customer service.

Do not buy their one phases… it is completely unfair the rules that they give. They have an insane rule where you can only lose 6% from where you are at. If you are at 108,000 and try to request a payout they will completely breach your account since your new balance will be below that 6%. It is completely unfair and makes it so difficult to be a profitable trader through them. Let’s also not get started on the consistency rule... Tx3 is not for the trader at all its basically a scam at this point, their rules make it nearly impossible to be a profitable trader. Sad to say I will never be buying an account from them again and I hope you all will do the same…

If there is anything serious to discuss, this company will drag you along. No one can give you a straight answer, and I've been dealing with a KYC issue for weeks before receiving a random email saying I've been banned with no explanation for why. No mention of a refund for my $100,000 funded account. Be cautious with them because you are just a number, not a customer.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. They decided to remove one profitable trade from my account due to what they called “overleveraging,” but they refused to remove the losing trade that was part of the same situation. I contacted their support team to address this issue, but they stood firm on their decision, clearly favoring themselves.
In other prop firms, if a position is overleveraged, the system doesn’t even allow you to open the trade — which is fair. In my case, I was actually managing my risk properly, risking less than 1% of my account size, so I was not overexposed from a risk perspective.
This behavior shows me that they are not a trustworthy company. For serious traders who are truly committed, this is not a company I would recommend. Their policies are applied in a way that benefits them, not the trader.

I have received two payouts on my $50k account. I really like the Project X platform. The price for EOD drawdown is excellent and the evaluation target is almost 1:1. My favorite thing is that my total profits count for the 40% consistency rule, rather than resetting the total for each withdrawal. Their rules helped me become a better trader and accumulate five figures of equity in this account. 100% profit split is great. The account is locked for 2 or 3 days while the payout is processed, which allowed me to refocus on my education. The maximum withdrawal is $1200 which is a realistic salary to aim for on a 1-2 week basis. I was able to replace my income with this firm. Top Tier Trader is now TX3. After having success with their Starter account, I am going to aim for a Pro account next.

Firms that impose a consistency rule cannot truly be considered genuine, because financial markets do not behave the same way every day and no single strategy can deliver uniform results under all conditions. First, market volatility varies daily, so expecting traders to perform consistently is unrealistic. Second, successful trading often involves adapting to sudden changes, which conflicts with rigid consistency requirements. Third, professional traders focus on risk management and opportunities, not on forcing equal profits across trades. Fourth, consistency rules limit a trader’s natural edge by discouraging them from capitalizing on strong market moves. Finally, such rules benefit the firm more than the trader, as they create unnecessary restrictions that do not reflect real-world trading practices.
