Ubuy Australia doesn't know the difference between 120v vs 240v electricity supply
I purchased a Whynter ice cream machine from Ubuy, and had it shipped to me in Australia from the US.
I feel the bare minimum service ethos of any company should be, 'is this product fit for purpose'. As it turned out it wasn't. Ubuy Australia, as the name suggests, should know the Australian market even at a basic level. In Australia like most advanced economies in the world we have 240V electricity. 120v only works in the US, and some poorer Asian, and African countries. Most deffinitely NOT in Australia.
So now I have a machine that is almost useless, quite possibly an expensive paper weight, as it will blow up if i try to use it here. So I am having to try and convert the whole thing with an expensive adaption device, or rewiring of the motor to use it in Australia.
I feel this level of poor service, and lack of global knowledge deserves a very poor score. I also intend writing a Google review on my experience.
