I found the online course difficult to navigate and explanation of what each section was looking for very vague

Did what I expected the course to do.

It did not start well, wrong link led to another course, contact with UK coaching led to another link to a course that had already been, several emails later & the correct course was reached. The course leader was good & knowledgable but the content was a bit thin. The 'chat' groups were ok but out of the 15 (i think) people on the course only about 5 of us spoke/contributed at all & the rest stayed muted throughout. I'd hoped for a more extensive discussion about safeguarding topics.

The course was engaging and informative. Having ADHD, I always wonder if the content/presentation will be interesting enough to hold my attention, but it was well constructed and interactive.

It can be turgid renewing SPC especially when you have multiple ones
The lead , Lijana , was thorough , interesting, up to date , encouraging and showed a huge breadth of knowledge of subject .

I attended the Safeguarding & Protecting Children course on 16th January 2025, delivered by Scott Murray, and I wanted to share some feedback.

Going into the session, I was expecting a fairly typical online course – something I’ll admit I usually approach with a bit of dread based on past experiences. However, this session was quite the opposite and genuinely one of the best online courses I’ve attended.

Scott was excellent throughout. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and interacted really well with all attendees, which made the three hours fly by. Rather than simply working through slides or asking participants to read large amounts of material, the session was practical, discussion-based, and highly relevant. Even once the session had officially finished, Scott stayed on for a further 5–10 minutes to answer questions, which really demonstrated his commitment and passion for the subject.

Despite having been involved in club sport for many years, I still picked up a number of important points and identified areas where we can improve and implement better safeguarding practices at our club. That, to me, is the mark of a truly effective course.

I would fully recommend this course, particularly for anyone who values real interaction and learning over being talked through endless slides or lengthy documents. Please pass on my thanks to Scott for delivering such an engaging and valuable session.

I recently completed my Level 1 Table Tennis Coaching course and had a very positive experience overall. Daniel was our instructor and delivered the course in a clear, engaging, and supportive manner throughout.
The sessions were well structured, practical, and easy to follow, with a good balance between theory and on-table coaching. Daniel explained concepts clearly, encouraged questions, and created a relaxed learning environment where everyone felt comfortable participating. His practical demonstrations and feedback were particularly helpful in building confidence as a new coach.
I found the course enjoyable, informative, and well organised, and it has given me a solid foundation to start coaching safely and effectively. I would happily recommend this course to anyone looking to begin their coaching journey.
