I hired Ukpi to trace help trace someone and also perform surveillance on the individual for a couple of days. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed and diligence with which they performed and delivered exactly what they promised. I'll highly recommend their services to anybody.

Good, timely service in confirming the Non-existence of my Swedish subject. However, I was able to identify the real person quite easily a week later with some persistence and a good reverse image search engine. This was not achieved by the agency.

Needed information regarding a court order for proof of non-compliance by the party in question that had a monthly commercial impact. The details retrieved in a very timely manner enable me to approach the party in question and end the monthly payment with immediate effect. Thank you very much.

Asked for an address NOT the current one we supplied. Charged £120 and sent us the current address which was incorrect anyway. Raised this issue and ignored. I would not use this company. I am genuine and go by second name so the reply by the company is Incorrect . My statement above is 100% accurate and Trust Pilot are accurate too.

I used this unprofessional company to trace a person who has an unpaid CCJ for £65,000

They came back within 24 hours saying they have traced him, and I need to pay the £120 fee to see the report, which I paid straight away.

The report was then provided, which contained an address, and the information I'd already provided to them to help the trace.

A call to the address provided revealed they had no tenant of that name, and had never heard the name of the person I was tracing before.

A quick search on Rightmove showed the address given advertising an annexe to rent, and this was about 5 miles from the last known address of the person I was tracing.

UK PI were unwilling to provide details of the 'report' that came from 'several VERY reliable sources'. When I asked for my money back they simply ignored me, then eventually referred me to their own internal complaints system, after first lying about the contents of their terms and conditions.

Subsequent investigation by myself revealed the person was living in a caravan 50 miles away from the address they gave.

As they wouldn't refund my money I claimed it back via Mastercard, but it was a hassle.

DO NOT USE THIS DREADFUL COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT HONEST OR PROFESSIONAL

**UPDATE**
In response to UK Private Investigators reply below received 10/03/20 -

I was contacted yesterday by UKPI by a nameless person who offered me £20 to remove my review.

When I asked questions as to why they have waited 18 months to contact me, whether I can see a copy of the email they claim to have sent with a new address from a supposed re-trace (despite stopping all communication with me at the time I questioned the address they gave me) they were unable to give me answers to my questions, and instead have posted an untrue reply to my review.

They did not 'allow a full refund' - I made a complaint to my credit card company about their conduct and was refunded the £120 I paid for the 'report' via the credit card company.

They have also seriously breached confidentiality and GDPR by providing my full name publicly.

They have been asked to remove their untrue reply immediately, otherwise face legal ramifications from me.

**UPDATE**
Within an hour of UK Private Investigators posting their reply to this review, they have removed it. This is in direct response to communication between myself and UK Private Investigators whereby they attempted to bully me, yet were still unable/unwilling to provide me with answers to my questions or visibility of emails they claim to have sent me.

Their behaviour in the last two days has reinforced the comments I made in my original review. Please steer clear of this company, they are not honest, and they seek to bully anyone who questions their conduct.
Further more, if you read their 'Terms and Conditions' ie contract (which is ever changing to suit them) you will realise that the contract is completely and utterly weighted towards them to the point of being impossible for their clients to secure their risk of paying up front for their services, which I suspect would be deemed unfair if challenged legally. Reading their terms alone should be enough to put you off doing business with this company.

I went to this company for help at a time of immense pain and trouble for myself and my family (namely tracing a man who conned £53,000 from my parents at the time we were all caring for my dying sister), as I'm sure the majority of their clients are also in, and it sickens me to think that this company is treating some of the most vulnerable people in society in this way.
