I have mailed back my MA 50 to Ulanzi. I mailed it back on Sept 24 and to this day 10/15/2025 I have not seen my refund back to my account. I sent an email asking about it and no one f#$king responded to my email. I wish there is a zero star so that I don't to give you one.

Never Received My Order and Customer Service Won’t Respond

UPDATE 10/20/25: I finally received the replacement order for the one that never arrived. To Ulanzi's credit, the replacement got here about a week after they said they'd ship a new one out. That being said, they never gave me a tracking number like they said they would and I never heard from them in the past week after reaching out for the tracking number.
Ultimately, I ended up giving 3-stars because I truly do like their products...and when my order was lost they did eventually make it right and ship a replacement. But their communication is very inconsistent. Sometimes I'd get a response next day, and other times I'd have to send a couple of follow up emails and not get a response for 1-2 weeks.

UPDATE 10/13/25: They have finally reached out again to resend my order for the lost package. Will update my review further once I receive it.

Customer service is terrible! Never received my order (ULANZI159695). Customer service said they’d contact the carrier and give me an update on my package in 1-3 days…that was a couple weeks ago. I’ve followed up via email multiple times and even reached out via Instagram and have not gotten any responses. It’s been over a month since it shipped. Tracking has shown the package hasn’t been scanned in transit in over 2 weeks. It has clearly been lost. Ulanzi charged me for “package protection” when I placed my order. What a scam. There’s an issue with my package and they won’t respond anymore. What exactly is the package protection for then? I’m now out $50 for the item I never received. Avoid this company at all costs and spend your money with a company that will ensure you get what you paid for. Very disappointed!

Great light painting flashlight.

An almost perfect, easily transportable flashlight for my light painting. Love it. Could only be improved by having optional backlighting for the controls.

Great concepts but unreliable service

Order ULANZI160017

Placed an order for a tripod and a cage a week ago.

Got my cage but my tripod hasn't been shipped since then.

Tried emailing them twice, but got no response.

This was a shame because I was traveling within the US, now I need to find a way to ship it to Dubai which is where I live.

I also bought their other tripod off amazon the tt38 as a replacement because I need to run my business, the tripod they sent me was broken.

Kinda ridiculous, I was hoping to invest completely into their systems but at this point things are comical

Ridiculous delivery

I ordered two producta early August. I followed up and was horrified deloveru would be over 3 weeks (that was shocking in todays age). By then i would have travelled AND left rhe house I was living at. I tried to redirect early on (the ap showed it was in the US of all places) but was told too late. I asked for a refund and was told when the products are returned.
So i did not get the products i paid for and the new tenant has not returned. A complete waste of money. There was no option for zero or minus.

Requested to return a product.

Requested to return a product following their return policy on Sept 2nd. Received a reply offering a lousy 5% refund to keep the product. Replied, requesting return authorization. No reply, authorization or mailing address. Don’t spend your money with this group, shady at best. Policy says, no questions asked for returns. Sept 8th, still nothing…..

Massive delays and bad customer service

I ordered a tripod 9 days ago. It still hasn’t shipped. Checked in with their support and it took them two days to get back to me just to find out they didn’t disclose the product was back ordered anywhere in the order process and asked if I want to wait another 1-2 months to get it. Terrible customer service and bad business practices. The product I ordered was for my business and I put my trust in Ulanzi - they dropped the ball and now I have to scramble to find an alternative.

Terrible experience with Ulanzi.


I purchased three products (a power cable, a reflector, and a suction cup). The quality was inconsistent, and the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. They refused to provide a prepaid return label, ignored my refund requests, and tried to pressure me to close my PayPal dispute with manipulative emails.

In the end, I only got part of my money back thanks to PayPal – not because Ulanzi helped. I still paid high return shipping costs and wasted time.

This company does not respect customers, does not follow fair return policies, and uses dishonest tactics. Avoid at all costs.

Update:
Ulanzi replied here on Trustpilot asking me to email them. But it is the same support service @ ulanzi.com that I already contacted many times without any help. Their public reply is misleading – privately they refused to solve my case. In the end, PayPal had to step in and rule in my favor. Customers should be aware that Ulanzi’s Trustpilot replies do not reflect their actual service.

High quality product

The Ulanzi 40w RGB par is a very well built light that can do many jobs in studio or on location. Our 6light kit will likely be among the first items to brought to the set on any given project. And it comes at a great price. I'll add that Ulanzi customer service is very good.

Very helpful customer service

Very helpful customer service. After my package became stuck inDHL sorting center, Ulanzi customer support was actively trying to help and after concluding, that DHL has lost my package, they offered to send the order again for free (even though, they didn't have to do so, since it was not their fault, that DHL lost the parcel).

The overall design of the tripod is beautiful, very sturdy and light weight for travel...folded up in its well designed pouch it will fit in my carry on luggage bag.
