I disagree with all the bad reviews for I have had nothing but the best service and quality from this company. The size fits so beautifully and the quality to me is top notch. Colours do not fade and fabrics do not pill. I don’t know but the people that gave bad reviews must have just had bad luck.
Fed up with this company. First of all, the website is poorly set up, you can’t place your address on properly if you stay in a flat, you have to add your flat number after the postcode. That immediately set alarm bells ringing.
Sure enough, order didn’t turn up and my order is sitting in a warehouse. Dreadful customer service, no one gets back to me and any email response is a token reply with no detail or representation of any action taken.
It’s just been an unmitigated disaster and it feels like they’ve lost my order and no one knows what to do. Lack of information and response from customer service has confounded the problems. Awful.
Speak as you find. I was really worried to read these reviews AFTER I had ordered over £500 worth of clothes. They arrived in just over a week. Beautiful clothes- it’s a 10/10 from me!

If I could give it no stars I would, I ordered a coat on the 14th of January, delivery should have been the 25th of January, still not received, I wrote to them and the answer was its because of Brexit,I can tell UPS to refuse the package and get a refund? what if they don't receive it back? Ordered 2 items from them 17th January and am still awaiting delivery and/or my refund.
Ulla Popken refuse to refund monies for these items. The only thing that they will accept is that they have a complete lack of responsibility.
The matter is currently in the hands of my bank.
Shocking! My husband ordered a top from them several months ago however we never received it or got a refund. I stupidly fell in to the trap of ordering from them again as I really liked the look of a couple of their items. However sadly I haven't received them and the email I sent asking for a refund has bounced back. They also rejected my review and gave no explanation or apology in reference to my comment about not receiving my clothes.
I placed an order on 6th January 2021. After 2 days I noticed they had halved two of the items I had bought same coat in 2 different sizes. So I placed my second order. They arrived 5 days later. However they were not what I wanted so I contacted them for a return address. I was given a P.O. Box originally and informed returning items would be at my own cost. Returning 6 coats to Milton Keynes has cost me in excess of £20. I was given a shops address in Milton Keynes to return my orders too. They were collected from me on 13th January 2021 with Hermes. And delivered on 16th January 2021. I was advised to allow 10 days for them to be returned back to Germany for a refund. Well here I am today 9th February 2021 still waiting for my refund. I have asked them to clarify where my parcels have been taken? By which Company, do they themselves have any tracking? They asked me for my tracking information? I have phoned them in excess of 10 times. They have said now it’s out of their hands. I need to use email? I will NEVER NEVER use Ulla Popken ever again.

If you think you might wish to return items, avoid! Liked a coat, bought in two sizes, but unfortunately one too big, one too small, Goldilocks moment! Flinched at the return cost, but I knew the deal. What I didn't know was that the parcel would need to be handled by ParcelForce. They are unable to deliver to PO boxes, which is all this company offers as a return address. If it wasn't so much money I would probably give up as it is generating so much hassle. Will never shop with Ulla Popken again!
Watch out!!! Do not order from this site! They charge enormous shipping fees to Canada and if you want to return you psy again. So returning is not worth it. Plus my item was sizes to big. Enormous actually also very bad quality. BUYER BEWARE

Still struggling to get a refund on a coat I ordered and it never turned up. £110.00 is a lot of money to lose.. This had better be refunded else this will get extremely unpleasant. Will bring in a Financial Omnibus service if necessary. Would leave zero stars if I could. This company is a total disgrace.

A miserable experience. Bought bathing suit. Did not fit. They don't do exchanges. You have to reorder and send the original back. When you do send an item back, you use their mailing address, which is a US address. However, they trans-ship to the home office in Germany, and will not issue a refund until it is received there, a month later. In addition, they are arrogant about their processes.
I would advise to stay away from them.
Recently had a very bad experience with Ulla Popken service and quality of their products. Ordered 4 shirts and had a discount code but after a week only one item turned up. It was way too small and too short and not as ordered. Then a week later I was told 2 other shirts were out of stock but could become back in stock shortly. I said I’d wait only to be then charged FULL price for the two shirts! Either very clever marketing or worse? Last shirt has never turned up. When I asked about it the customer service dept said it was never in stock even at point of order so it was impossible for me to buy it. Which begs the question why were they happy to sell it to me then. Terrible company. Never order from them again.
I bought a blouse in May and returned it the same month, using their label. This is now late July, and I have yet to get the promised refund after calling 4 times. First call: I would see the refund within 2 business days; second call: look for it within a day or two; third call: they are awaiting confirmation of receipt from the shipping department and that department doesn't work on weekends; fourth call: they sent communication to the accounts department and are waiting to hear from them.
Do yourself a favor and bypass this company if you want to save yourself a lot of stress because if you return an item and need your money refunded, it's going to be an uphill battle. To date, I have not gotten my refund.
Tottaly unreliable return policy. As many have already stated I returned two orders haven't received anything yet. More than a month ago. Won't ever bother dealing with this company agsin.
