Great plugs for swimming and showering with vulnerable ears. I've got both ears having had major surgery in the past, (namely a mastoidectomy and a TORP). My consultant advised silicone earplugs as a matter of urgency as I've started using the swimming pool again.
I've already reported how easy it was to get the plugs but after a couple of months I am delighted to say wearing them has become a habit I don't really think about when swimming or showering. I just feel well protected.

This is my 2nd set of plugs from UE. Went with the soundear pro Bluetooth ones and very pleased once again.

Top quality and these have bit more meat on them and feel very sturdy.

Ordered on 28/02/26 and had them delivered on 12/03/26, less than 2 weeks is brilliant turnaround and service. Very pleased with these guys and will continue to use when needed and recommend to any other biker.

Quick turnaround, good fit, very comfortable, easy to clean, somewhat breathable. Would recommend!

My favourite from happy ears, loop sleep, 3M, foldable silicone and foldable wax.

Would note you need to pay for an ear impression. £40 for me.

Moulds were made by Ultimate, it was quick and easy and they now have the digital data. They kept me updated on progress with production. They produced the items in time for thrm to be used at the weekend. Ideal

Excellent service. Ultimate Ear Protection quickly arranged for ear impressions to be made local to me. When I posted off the impressions to Ultimate Ear they emailed to confirm receipt and then around 10 days later the plugs arrived.
Quality looks good and sound quality is excellent. Warning: Turn your headset right down before plugging in as they are very loud (painfully!).
My only negative is that after a couple of hours with my helmet on I can feel pressure on my ears which becomes painful as time progresses. Removing my helmet and plugs after more than two hours is quite painful. I need to experiment with changing the padding within my helmet.

Quick service, the fit is or feels better than my first set, the sound quality is amazing and you get the protection from all other noise, great product and should have bought first time round 🤔

Had my moulds done at the motorcycle show at the NEC in November. Bought some squidgy ear plugs in March and they still had my moulds. Came quickly and are a nice fit

Fast turnaround and easy to follow instructions for manufacturer. Really comfortable fit, not tried them on the bike yet but I did put my headphones on over the top and turned it up to 11 so seems effective.

I had been thinking about purchasing custom fit earplugs for some time but was put-off by the process of having to arrange to have impressions taken in one location and then having to send them in the post etc. However, the information given on the website and the assistance with booking the appointment with a local audiologist made it easier than I had imagined and the manufacturing time was only a few days, so much quicker than expected. Overall I am very happy with both the product and the service!

Excellent service. The process was Simple and everything was sorted for you including the taking of the moulds. Quality looking product. Could do with a little better instructions around the spare dampners and what ypu do with them

Great fit, great quality, awesome sound and great noise reduction. I ride an Harley and I can clearly listen to music and follow GPS. Just the microphone is kind of useless for phonecalls since its not wind/noise cancelling but I was warned by the sales representative, so I already knew that. Very happy with the purchase, riding my Harley got even better now

I ordered sleep plugs from Ultimate Ears, but was later advised by a doctor not to wear them due to eczema so decided to cancel. No molds were made, no ear plugs made. Simply an appointment. They then refused to refund me fully, charging £30 just for making an appointment. Total rip off.

I had never considered custom made ear plugs for swimming but it had got to the point I'd fallen out of love with swimming due to the irritating drops of water finding their way into my ears.
So I thought I'd look for a solution and found Ultimate Ear Protection.
It's not a cheap solution but it is cost effective. Moulded ear buds, a choice of colour, a handy zipped holder - and helpful " how to use" instructions ( yes you need to read them!)
Tried in the pool today, 27/02/26, and.....not a drop in either ear. Success. Yes you can hear your breathing but you get used to it.
