Secure but draughts are an issue

Ultion locks are easy to deal with. Guarantee is clear and welcome.
Knowledge of security is reassuring.
My concern is that there is a serious draft that comes through the lock as there is no cover or internal mechanism to exclude draughts. Unless you have a thumb lock, which has security implications if burglars gain access via another route. Easy exit.

5*. Great handles

Just bought a new Ultion handle after the springs broke in my 10+ year old handles.

Easy to fit. Slight issue with the old fitting being slightly smaller than the new one. I used a threaded screw to file out the hole to enable fitting. Even with this minor issue, it took me less than 5 minutes to fit.

Coupled with our 3* Diamond Ultion Lock, the house feels very secure.

I will never buy from any company other than Ultion for securing our doors.

Very helpful customer service

Very helpful customer service. Craig spiers helped out enormously to correct an issue with my order. Overall the handle ordered ‘Ultion 2 Star plus’ has been a great upgrade to the existing handle. Fitting was easy and the finish is very good. Comes with quite a number of upgrades required for some of today’s known issues.

Ultion produce the safest key design I…

Ultion produce the safest key design I know of in the UK. Their primary benefit in my view is that a thief cannot get in by lock-snapping. Many locks in the UK, especially those used in French doors can be grasped by pliers or a mole wrench and bent backwards and forwards until they snap and when they snap the lock falls apart and the door is now no longer locked. This does NOT happen with Ultion and in fAct they are guarantee not to snap.

FANTASTIC TOI DEAL WITH - FANTASTIC PRODUCTS

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10 out of 5!)

What a fantastic company to deal with. When you phone Ultion, you’re not greeted with a thousand menu options sending you around in circles. The phone is answered by a real person, who then puts you straight through to the relevant department.

They are always extremely helpful. I’ve had to call them on three occasions now, and every single time all of my questions were answered clearly and professionally.

Unfortunately, I recently had to contact them about an issue with a product I purchased earlier in the year. They asked for a few details, quickly found my order, asked what the problem was, and said, “No worries, we’ll get a new item in the post to you today.” No messing about, straight to the point with outstanding customer service.

If only more companies could take a leaf out of Ultion’s book. A great company to deal with, and I will always buy directly from them, even if they are a few pounds more, the service makes it more than worth it.

Highly recommended!

Very poor product and even worse support

I purchased a smart lock from Ultrion and it worked for less than a month before failing completely.

I followed the instructions on the app exactly, but nothing happened. For months, there was no resolution. When I finally managed to speak to them, I was told that I should have called them earlier, despite the fact that I had already followed the guidance provided. Apparently, using their app instructions was not enough.

Three months later, I still do not have a working smart lock.

What made this worse was the lack of ownership. One support person said they had “only just become aware of the issue a couple of weeks ago” and that it was being handled by someone else in another part of the company. That really says it all! No accountability, No coordination, and No urgency.

This feels like a company that washes its hands of problems once they have your money.
Unreliable product, disorganised support, and a complete waste of time.

I would not recommend them to anyone.

Good lock until it breaks - bad customer service

Had a new door fitted along with a Ultion lock back in 2021. Ordered their Ultion KeyTag back in 2024 and nothing but issues with it - battery running out quickly, key jamming and finally it feel apart. Now the lock has stopped working, not able to take the key out without it being locked. Called the customer service team to be told that they will send out an email to complete along with a video showing the issue but received nothing. I can't use the lock and will need to replace it myself - stay away from this company....

The key tags and the app are not fit…

The key tags and the app are not fit for purpose it's a con .when rang customer service I was bombarded with Bullshit and was made out it's my fault .It isn't. So now im bombarding to internet with bad reviews about this product no chance of a refund either.AVOID

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE – OTHER CUSTOMERS BE WARNED

Please explain why customers are expected to fix problems caused by your own company. I ordered a lock, and you sent the WRONG ITEM. This is not up for debate it has already been confirmed by your head office.

I have contacted sales, support, and head office nearly 8 TIMES, and every single time I was told, “We will send you a return label.” Guess what? Still no return label. How difficult is it to send one?

This is NOT a £20 lock. When customers pay a premium price, they expect premium support or at the very least, basic competence and accountability.

Instead, I was told the company will deduct an admin fee because I ordered extra keys. Are you serious? YOU sent the wrong product. Verified internally. Yet you still want to charge the customer?

This level of service is embarrassing and completely unacceptable for a company charging premium prices. If this is how Ultions treats customers when THEY make a mistake, others deserve to know before placing an order.

Send the return label immediately and stop passing the cost of your error onto the customer.

My new lock is problematic

My new lock is problematic. 1 time out of 10 entries, the key won't turn and the lock jams and it takes several attempts by removing key and trying multiple times, to gain entry, despite it only being a few weeks old. It's too complex for its own good. It's a lock that is designed for security but we fear it will jam and we are locked out of our home. I am disappointed.
UPDATE. It is definitely not the door being mis-aligned. What actually happens is,,,, when you are entering from outside, if the key is not fully turned and pushing door open, it gets locked halfway through process. Therefore you cannot pull door towards you, to continue an unlock and you cannot continue with unlocking process, meaning you are locked out and door jams

Hate it

Hate it! We inherited Ultion locks when we moved house.

First experience, key stuck in lock and we needed a locksmith to remove it and show us how to use it.

Next, we ordered copies which cost way more than normal keys.

Next, although it says keytag will easily connect to Apple Find My app, you have to remove the keytag which I have found impossible. I have spent hours of frustration doing google searches on how to set up and remove key tag but nothing works. It is immovable.

I tried phoning customer support but they are not open outside office hours.

Am giving up. Would like to throw the stupid keytag down the toilet.

I’ve never lost my keys in my life and have wasted hours of my life trying to set up the stupid connection to Apple.

The keytag is also too thick to go on a keyring.

Grrrrr! Loathe my Ultion key!😡😡😡

Have had two high security locks with a 5 year guarantee, first one fell apart after 3 years and second one after two years. Reported it and no interest in replacing their shoddy goods

Don't get an Ultion lock if you can…

Don't get an Ultion lock if you can avoid it. Ordered spare key - cost over £30 for one spare . They cannot be cut by an ordinary locksmith. Was told that if I didn't purchase a "key powder" for almost £13 that the lock warranty would not be valid. A total scam to invalidate warranties.

key fob issue

I purchased the key fob that tracks your key if lost, unfortunately the fob will not connect to my iPhone
I must have tried five or six times but still not connecting.
I rang their contact number 01924410200, but after 10 rings it disconnects. eventually when I did manage to get through, their technical department is so busy they say they will ring you. they did ring but I missed the call and when I rang them back on the number they rang me I was told to ring the number 01924410200, so just going around in circles, very frustrating.
If I do not get a response soon I will be retuning the product for a refund
The customer service of this company is terrible, with no customer empathy whatsoever
