Transferred from an older server to a new shared server with just a little help from the support team. I'm up and running again after a few small edits to support the new architecture. The response time was fantastic, just as I have come to expect after my many years of service from UWH. I don't know whay other companies can't be as helpful and professional as the guys at UWH. I've been hosting websites with Unlimited Web Hosting since 2013. In that time I've recommended them to probably a dozen clients, and not one has come back unhappy. That kind of consistency is rare, and it matters when your name goes with the recommendation.

Price first. Their basic package is genuinely hard to beat in the UK. The value is exceptional, and there's nothing lurking in the small print to catch you out later.

But the real reason I keep going back is the support. Hosting support has a terrible reputation for good reason: chatbots, canned responses, someone getting back to you three days later with a link to a FAQ. This is nothing like that. Nick, Danny, Andy, and Adam are responsive, knowledgeable, and they actually sort things out. Even for low-priority tickets, we're getting replies within a couple of hours. I've genuinely stopped expecting that from any other provider.

As a web consultant and agency owner, my reputation travels with every referral I make. I've seen plenty of hosts get quietly worse over time. Prices creep up, support gets patchy, corners get cut. That hasn't happened here. Twelve years in and the quality is the same as it was at the start.

If you want reliable UK hosting at a fair price, this is where I'd send you.

The sites have always been available whenever I’ve accessed them, and load quickly (over a reasonable connection).
I rarely need to raise support tickets, but the responses are normally prompt, helpful, and friendly.

Clear and simple help when needed
