Never sign up for UPC
Overpromised but underdeliver. Prices increase every year, internet connection unstable, promised to connect internet earlier but waited for weeks. Unapologetic and rude customer service. Please do not sign their contract and get tied up to them. There are better and cheaper alternatives out there, such as Drei and A1. Do your homework and compare the different companies. Do NOT sign up for UPC just because of their ads in Austria.

Uneccaptable service.
Been using it for almost a year now in Wien. It's been 4 months since the problems started with low bandwith around 7-20 mbs out of 75 mbs I'm paying and very high latency 400-2000 ms (2 seconds of lag -.-). Contacted the support they told me yes we know the problem and that they will fix it by upgrading the network but they don't know when they will do it. Seriously how can they not know about??? Or are they waiting until more customers get annoyed and start complaining??? They told me it might take 1 month to 6 months to 1 year. Are they serious? Who tells their customer to pay money for a service and wait (period unknown) until or IF the problem is solved. By the way they get payed properly. Very dissapointed, will wait for my contract to finish and then terminate it. Apparently UPC doesn't need clients. Thinking of switching to A1.
