Currently completing a cert 4 course online.
The assistance has been very helpful including the support from the trainer (Gideon) via one on one zoom meeting, which can be requested at any time, to discuss the topics.

The trainer provided PowerPoint guides for each unit, including audio commentary, so you understand how to structure your answers and what is expected in the answer to questions.

They have been very flexible around participation considering I have a very busy work environment and can't commit to doing the course every day.

Would highly recommend these guys.

My experience so far is great my assessor is great and how he goes into detail in ways to help me understand how to answer questions and ways to look at them. I love that I can ask for help and I can choose a time to zoom call as soon as possible. Overall experience is great!

Relevant, engaging, & immediately applicable to my working roles. The flexible design of the course allows me to fit in study around work, and family commitments. The curriculum is engaging as the training utilises a mix of self paced learning methods including reading, discussion boards and videos. The topics are varied, interesting and relevant. The trainers are wonderul, responsive and a helpful point of contact for questions I have regarding my studies, and assessments. Grateful and extremely happy to have gone on this journey with Upskilled- I am now armed with greater business knowledge and ability.

I enrolled in the Diploma of Counselling course. I had talked to the education consultant and read reviews online. So initially, I was excited to be learning about something I'm passionate about. However, from the very first unit, it became clear to me that I was going to struggle with the poor quality and design- in my opinion. My background and experience are 4 years at a tertiary education, completing a Bachelors and then Honours degree. So I'm familiar with online tools for course management, and various examination formats. Unfortunately, the online content is not updated, with numerous video links and website links that lead to error pages. Additionally, the online content is set out in a way that doesn't provide information for you to learn like a textbook does. Most of the time, it tells you to google the information, which leads to information overwhelm and not knowing if you're reading the information that the course intended you to learn. If anything, the online content reads more like a course outline, and I'm left spending more time researching the internet to find information that is actually substantial and applicable. Additionally, the so-called quizzes aren't quizzes at all but short-answer exams. Given that the online content was quite lacking, I wished that the 'quizzes' helped to consolidate knowledge learnt, and that the application of knowledge was left to the assessments. I also struggled with the quizzes and assessments because the questions were not written clearly and there were several grammatical errors and typos. This made it very unmotivating to start. It's strange to hear other people talk so positively about this company. Perhaps, quality varies between each course. In short, I would have appreciated a quality check and a huge upheaval of the course. Whilst I paid upfront and received a large discount, that money was certainly not worth the quality of the course.

The Cert IV in IT Programming course is a complete course that includes several current main software development areas. Support from staff was very good and the assignments were challenging. The emphasis on role playing was a disappointment as I feel one spends more time scripting dialogues and not in learning skills. They seem to be favoured by industry but there is no feedback or contacts with any industry participants. There is also a strong emphasis on client requirements analysis, which is important, but I would have preferred a bit more time on expanding practical skills and more exposure to team work and development methodologies. My biggest disappointment is the lack of follow-up and support after you finish the course. You feel immediately cut-off from Upskilled without any idea on how to best proceed on looking for the most appropriate jobs, which makes me doubt I learned the quality skills required. A good general IT course which hopefully will improve in the future.

I signed up for artifical intellegance course, and was really excited to get things underway, especially with all the hype around ChatGPT and all the exciting new AI programs dropping every week.
This course has not been updated since 2019 and does not mention anthign about chat gpt or any of the current major players, making it obsolete.
The videos are poorly edited and produced compounding the frustration that you just spent $2000 for outdated material.
I reached out to them and no one got back to me after a month I had to do a follow-up email, at which point they said my 7 days grace period had ended,
I signed up to this online course so I could balance it around work, because of this reason I didn't even look at the material until the 7 day grace period has expired.
your money is definitely better spent on another product.

Recently started the Diploma of Counselling. Can't thank Upskilled and all staff enough. I was hesitant.at first but it was always something i have wanted to do. Have been involved in education and it has been a part of the job but have always wanted to do it as a profession. The education staff have been so supportive and instructional creating a great learning and interactive environment. Looking forward to studying more and making mistakes as thats how I learn and progress.

Special thank you to Jo one of the Education Consultants. He was informative. friendly, knowledgeable about the course and study. Didn't feel pressured just helped me navigate options and left it up to me to decide. So glad he rang after I expressed interest in commencing studies again after a long time.

Firstly, I would like to say thank you to Gideon for his support and guidance throughout the course, as well as Keith for your encouraging words. The course notes and references were very helpful when answering the questions, even though, the questions were repetitive at times.

I was told there was only one role play by the individual who tries to sell you on enrolling in the programme. This was in error, which makes me very upset, and I apologise. The requirement of a ridiculously large number of video roleplays was another source of annoyance. Throughout the entirety of my education, I have never participated in this many role plays. The organisation of so many role plays presents a challenge from a logistical standpoint. It is also frustrating for friends and family members, as they are expected to assist despite the fact that they did not sign up for the course.
I conducted the majority of my own research in order to solve the majority of the questions because I struggled throughout the course to obtain a significant amount of assistance. After spending close to 4,000 dollars on this, I can only feel disappointment and tremendous unhappiness.

The Diploma of Counselling was a wonderful learning experience - the course content was very intriguing and thorough in detail, providing the opportunity to develop real-time counselling skills required for the industry.
Very grateful to the team - from student support to our trainer Ronnie, the team is always willing and available to provide support, responding to queries super quick and helpful with assessments. The LMS was very easy and simple to navigate. It can be tricky to motivate yourself given this is an online experience, but the team check-in regularly to see how you're doing and what support they can provide to keep you going.
An awesome experience with Upskilled!

Upskilled is a great place to learn for people of different backgrounds with different needs. You have to be very communicative with staff or student support to get the absolute best out of your course and yourself.

I finished my certificate three in IT recently, and I was very satisfied with the support and motivation I received from my teachers, and student support. It's an adjustment from the face-to-face learning style we all grow up with but that isn't for everyone and if you need something different, this place is it.

The course content is set out in an extremely easy to understand, and organised manner which makes their learning portal super easy to utilise/navigate.

They changed the course content and online learning portal when I was nearly finished all the coursework, so a lot of the coursework needed to be redone. They offered a refund of course fees, but that does little to offset the time I took off work to do the majority of the theory coursework. They statement of attainment that I received does not appropriately reflect the level or amount of coursework completed and they were not able to offer any kind of statement to show my progress within the uncompleted units (i.e. rubric of completed components) for future RPL applications. Very disappointed at the lack of planning, insight, and consideration of impact on existing students. They were certainly not practicing what they were preaching or teaching! Very disappointed.

I don’t like that no one has made contact to help go through the learning setup.
I don’t like that I booked in for a zoom to help me and no one showed or let me know it was not happening.

when I was send an e-mail to UpSkilled for more information about Certificate III individual support. They were get back to me very quick.

The staffs at first very helpfull for information that I would like to clear before enrollment. The staffs keep contact every steps before the course start untill the starting date no one keep contact or explain how to sign-in the website.( I read from students handout for need Username and Password) I have to email and called for get its. I understand how busy you are but if you can give more information it will be fantastic job. Thanks.

I have just completed the 3 units for the short course in Counselling. Absolutely loved it, now enrolling in the full Diploma of Counselling. The materials are clear, the coordinator is responsive and enthusiastic and there are wonderful opportunities to do counseling role-playing. Highly recommended.

Guide me properly and explained why I needed

They give lot of stress to complete the course ASAP
killing the essence of online course to be self paced.

The always will call u and threat you for cancelling your course. I am mum of two kids and working full time also, it is hard to maintain a fast pace. And i get stressful threatening calls to finish asap. It makes me upset.

Also there lesson and assignment pattern is so lengthy and complex. you must record videos including two other participants (which is vvv hard to arrange sometimes)
and those participants should act as work team members so it means you first educate them also.

This is so big turn off and instead of learning it gives you head ache. also waste of money because they are hard to convince to extend your time frame.
I am really annoyed.
trainers keep changing. and if you email them they dont reply if any urgent help is required.
no scheduled tutorials are there. every trainer has their own style and preferences.
