They don’t have a product that works
They don’t have a product that works.
You buy a faulty product and then they won’t take them back.
If you like being scammed, then this is the company you are looking for.
Disappointing earphones and then POOR form Urbanears, poor form.
After buying the new Luma wireless earphones, I left an honest review on their website (because I was slightly disappointed with them), only to find out a day later that they had taken the review down. Seems like they only show what they want you to see, which is not the level of transparency I want as a consumer! So, in case you're interested, here's the original review... 😏
It's the small things!
Was super excited to get these but so far, I'm a little disappointed! They have such a great style but if the small things worked better, they'd be amazing. It's a shame that these small things are pretty integral to how they work!
They're not comfortable for people on the other end of a call, they pick up SO much wind even when it's not so windy. And if you use your phone while on a call, or they have their own wireless earphones in, there's a horrible echo for the other person.
The touch controls need improving - they're either not sensitive enough (don't respond to the finger tap) or TOO sensitive (they will stop/start when you just hold them in your fingers). My podcast queue is ruined by all the skipped tracks 😱

I purchased blue tooth headphones from Argos. Rather than 6 seconds to pair takes 25 seconds. The usb cable I had to use pliers to remove. I contacted the company ‘Emma’ for support and they told me to purchase a new cable rather than them replace. No customer service took days to reply.
Favourite headphone company
I've had urbanears headphones for years, wired. Recently branched out into the plattan 2 Bluetooth. Shipping was fast, reliable headphones with good sound quality and really impressive battery for the price. Very pleased and will continue to be a loyal urbanears customer
Very happy with product and service
I was looking for earphones that wouldn't fall out of my ears constantly, but that I wouldn't have to shove into my ears either. Found the Reimers Team headphones and they are ideal for me. I'm happy with the sound too.
After almost exactly a year, a part of the cable broke, but otherwise the earphones were still in very good condition. Contacted customer service and within two days, new earphones were sent out to me. In my experience, the service was great.
To keep it short it sucks
To keep it short it sucks. I was looking to purchase headphones. I seen the site and I thought the headphones were very stylish. I reviewed various head phones details at Urbanears. It took me awhile before I made purchase I am some what frugal when it came to buying headphones. I find it unnecessary to pay over $30.00 for headphones.
I purchased 2 for Christmas 1 Bluetooth (lasting 30hrs play time)and the other a wire. The looks are beautiful but the function and sound are not worthy the price. When I used the Bluetooth headset it only has 1 small button to do everything, that was not a good idea. To turn it on and off I had press down firmly several times to do both things (my fingers hurt) and to adjust the sound. I still can't figure it out without something else not happening (what a struggle). The sound get 20 thumbs down! My other low budget headphones sound way way better than Urbanears and functions better. My low budget headphones have multiple buttons to do different functions and it makes sense.
Terrible product
Terrible product. Very comfortable on the ears and ok sound HOWEVER - nightmare to pair to a computer. It took a while to pair with my phone - nigh on impossible to pair with my computer. Got their customer care to help me, but to no avail. Wasted so much time over this. What a total pain....I've bought other wireless headphones which are infinitely easier to pair and only a tiny bit more expensive and come with a pouch - this comes with nothing. Worth it as this was a total waste of time and money. Such a shame, I had really high hopes for this product.

Purchased Plattan 2 headphones two…
Purchased Plattan 2 headphones two years ago and liked the comfort and sound quality as I am not a pro user. The soft plastic (pleather) covering of the headband interior and the earpieces where the same type of pleather is covering the foam parts started flaking all of a sudden and now the whole thing is unusable. I contacted the company to ask if this is normal and I guess it is because I couldn't get a satisfactory answer. As an academic working in front of the computer all day that is exactly where I was using them at home and office while at the desk and not outside even. So, all in all, I wouldn't consider buying from Urbanears as it is not worth the money. Spend a little more and get a headphone whose material can last more than two years after the purchase and from a brand that can stand behind its products. I find it kind of sad that there is no solution and I have to throw away the whole thing :(

Wanted to oder new cushions for my Plattan || Bluetooth version, accidentally order wrong ones and then it became hell.
No return options — pay by yourself to return.
And now after month of waiting time I still haven't received a proper ones.
So 22 euro waisted for nothing.
Of course I understand that's also partly my problem and headphones are OK, but don't order from them directly if you don't wanna have headaches.
UPD. Also they remove bad reviews from their website... Which is very bad for a company.
Misleading communications and faulty systems
I ordered a pair of headphones in march that didn't ship out, since I chose to pay at a later date via Klarna I informed them of this so the invoice was paused until things were resolved. I then contacted Urbanears and asked what happened to them, got a reply that there was a system error and that's why they were never sent out. The company offered me a pair for free and I thought that was it... Until Klarna informed me I still had an outstanding bill for march. So I contacted Urbanears again to which they sent me a really confusing message about there being two different orders, and the bill was for order #1 which was never shipped and order #2 was free. It wouldn't have been a huge issue, but considering that 1) there is an entire month in between the two orders (March & April) and 2) I had two different shipping numbers with those orders. I requested the bill be updated to reflect the new order, since I am paying for a pair of headphones, but no I got for an answer. I asked both Klarna and Urbanears, and both pointed fingers at each other.
So what happened is that Urbanears pasted the new shipping number on the old invoice but didn't update the other bits of information, which to me signals bad sales practices. I told the company I would pay, but I want to pay for my goods with the correct information on my invoice, which Urbanears won't do. I'd advice shopping elsewhere, since their billing practices can't be trusted to be correct.
Horrible customer service
I've ordered a pair of headphones and I was unsatisfied with the quality so I contacted the support and wanted to send them back. I choose to pay via invoice so I had 14 days to pay through Klarna. They forced med to make a claim (I specifically wrote several times that I didn't want to make a claim, only send them back) and destroy the headphones. After several days of mailing back and forth, where I several times said that I've paused the invoice (Klarna has this function where you can pause invoices when returning a product so the company easily can cancel it) and wanted to send them back, they said that the best thing is to destroy them so I wouldn't have to pay for the shipping fee. And then another person wrote to me that it would be no problem to cancel the invoice as soon as they got proof that the headphones were destroyed. So I did, I followed their instructions and destroyed the headphones, took a picture and send it to them.
And after that I wrote with the same person as I did at the beginning, and he refused to cancel the invoice, forced me to pay it so they could give me a refund. Why, WHY should I pay for something that I specifically said several times that I want to send back? And especially after they forced me to destroy them?! No way in hell! Then I wrote to him that I was going to contact ARN (allmänna reklamationsnämnden) and take this further if they didn't cancel the invoice immediately. This is my right, by EU-law, to return something within 14 days if not happy/satisfied/whatever with the product, with no further questions! So instead of letting me send them back, they force me to make a claim and destroy them, then PAY for them so they can refund me? After this all this crap, he finally cancelled the invoice, after I threatened with ARN! The invoice is now cancelled, but Im really annoyed by how long this whole process took and how bad informed the customer service is regarding customer rights on sending back products. This caused me a lot of stress. I wouldn't recommend anyone to order products from this website.
After just 14 months of use....DON'T BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY
Under 2 years of use and the Aux cable is coming out of the matching threading to the headphones. I emailed and tweeted the Urban ears team with pictures to show how awful my Aux cable was looking and that this was disappointing, as my sister and I bought similar on-ear Urbanears headphones on the same date and her cable had remained in tact. As per EU Law and COMMON COURTESY I expected and apologetic email offering a new Aux cable however the team instead said that they do not need to abide by EU law as the item is only under warranty for the first 6 months. They found a loop hole and basically told me to go away. The colourway which I bought my headphones is no longer available and I most certainly will not replace my tattered headphones with any Urbanears products.
Love Urbanears!
Love my Urbanears Speaker, received great assistance setting it up. Highly recommend Urbanears for both their product and service.
Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. FedEx were unable to fulfill my order citing "incorrect delivery address" despite posting a "we've missed you" card through the letterbox.
Contacted urban ears when I noticed via FedEx tracking that the item was en route back to Sweden only to be told that my refund would be subject to a 15 GBP admin cost. I am therefore being fulfilled for urban ears inability to manage their sub-contractors?
Avoid at all costs or as a minimum buy through a vendor who appreciates service.
Recommended.
I bought a pair of Urbanears Wireless Headphones a few years back. Well priced, clever and good sound for the price. Very easy to work with and when they broke on a hinge, I contacted them and after a little to a fro (not sure why i need to go through the hassle of destroying the things further), they sent me out a new set. Very pleased. Will be using again.
Good products and support
Their customer support is very pleasant, I lost some parts for my headphones and they gave me a full replacement. Love the products. Only critique is that they use FedEx which is the worst delivery company that exists.
Great
Delivered as promised and great products. I bought a pair of Hellas, the best sports headphones I have used so far.
Super, but...
My experience with UrbanEars are Excellent, fast post & Package.
3 Stars:
They use FedEx, FedEx do NOT care for the customer, I had to travel to the FedEx terminal to get my package, even though I told them I was not home before afternoon, they tried to deliver at midday, I called them and asked for another delivery, the same happened again.
No delivery during Weekend and no drop points.
In other words, FedEx are Company to Company.
I wish UrbanEars would relize this.
I was VERY close to let the package go back, the FedEx terminal is in no way centrally placed.
