I had a vein scan procedure on 09/21/2022 and I was charged in advance $357 via credit card for the date of service. They billed my insurance for the date of service and according to Insurance my out of pocket should be $25.66. USA Vein Clinics owes me a refund of $331.
I have called them multiple times. I spoke with Christian, Joe, Felix Sanchez and all they says is that refund is waiting approval.
Feliz Sanchez called me on 05/03/2023 (after 5 months from my first call) asking for copy of the insurance statement and the same was sent on the same day. He mentioned he would call me by 05/06/2023 and until now nothing. I have called him and the billing department other 3 times and sent other 2 emails with no response.
There was another two procedures on Nov/15 and Nov/28 which I should own $31.64 but never receive a billing via mail.
On the phone with Felix Sanchez on 05/03 I agreed with him he should discount this amount from refund I should be receiving and nothing still.
I have also emailed wecare team and copied them on all the emails to the billing department and not a single response or feedback either
Appreciate support

If I could give less than one star I would! I started working with Dr. Greer's office in Alpharetta, GA a few years age when it was Vein Clinics of America. It was professionally run and the treatment was excellent.
However, USA Vein Clinics purchased VC of A and they have messed it up big time. I had purchased a treatment package and had 2 superficial vein treatments to go on a package of 4. I had one after the new management took over. I was told they were aware of the packages and it was no problem. They did not have a knowledgable person at the front desk, and as a matter of fact they were floaters between offices. So after that visit I started receiving invoices. I made numerous calls to customer service and was told, oh we see you purchased this, no problem. But they kept coming, and I kept calling to try and get it resolved. After the last attempt 2 weeks age (when I was told they would expedite the correction), I received a notice from a collections company. Enough, I'm not jeopardizing my credit for these jokers. You win, I paid money I didn't owe just to make you go away. RUN,RUN,RUN away from this company! So sorry for Dr. Greer to be stuck with these incompetents, he was great.

Long time client of Vein Clinics of America. Had a package for 4 sclerotherapy appts. Was told USA clinics would honor. When calling to make appt, I was passed around to 4 people because no one could give me approval for my package and then was disconnected. I had to call back and was finally given an appointment. 3 months later I show up for appt - had to drive 3 hours to get there and they ask me for a payment because my package had not been approved….. it took another 30 minutes of fussing to finally get it approved.
In addition no one was at front desk when I arrived, was there 10 minutes before she came out and then the hassle about my payment began. These people are rude and inconsiderate, I will not come back!

The USA Vein Clinics of Miami owes me a refund of $1000 for my visit on February 2, 2023. They made me pay the deductible that I was not supposed to pay. My health insurance company called them multiple times, and the provider agreed that the refund is due. The case went to their refund department on February 16, 2023. It has been more than 3 months, and I still haven't received my money back. I have called the billing department at least ten times over this time period. Multiple ETAs for the refund have been given, and all of them are now past due. They are now unable to tell me when the refund will be provided. What a scam! Please avoid dealing with them to save yourself a major headache in the future!
P.S. And yes, I did contact that "wecare at usaclinics.com" email multiple times, and all of my messages are getting ignored.

USA Veins is horrible! Vein Clinics of America used the same call center system, but at least they did something. USA Vein call center just deflects, makes excuses or just hangs up on the customer. Try requesting your medical records and see the run around you get. I requested mine in February 2022 and still no records, but lots of excuses. Federal law states that they must provide records within 30 days of patients request, but they think they are above the law. I don’t think this company will be around for long before they are forced to close.
I will be filing complaints with the Commonwealth of Virginia and various federal agencies and urged everyone to do the same.
Of course USA Veins reply with the same canned email response, but still no medical records.

I will never use your services again. I was told that the Forest Lane office closed -- LIE. It is still open.
I had to go to the Richardson TX office [tripling my drive time each way], only to be told by Dr. Stephen Hsu that no treatment could be done since I had blood clots in both legs -- LIE. There were no blood clots and I have moved my business to another vein company. You can than him for you losing my business. He needs to learn how to do a correct scan.

they will scam you on the copay and give you a run around, they hand you a copay bill for one amount then send you another bill for a larger amount threatening to take you to collections!

Never going back there and going to never refer this clinic to anyone.

USA Vein Clinics in Merrillville IN (USA VC) used to be Vein Clinics of America (VCA). When I arrived for my appt on 4/25/23 no one was at the front desk for at least 10 minutes. The nurse took me to the back and asked why I was there. I told her I had some scarring on my legs from the last ablation 8 months ago. I've never scarred before in the past 7 years of treatments. The nurse proceeded to ask me questions like "Who was your doctor?" "What procedure did you have?" "Did you have injections?" "When was your last ultrasound?" I told her to please check my chart. That's when I was told VCA had gone bankrupt, was taken over by USA VC, and all VCA patient records had disappeared! I was then asked if I'd like to start over with USA VC and take new ultrasounds so that the new doctor, Dr Tang, could treat me. I said yes. After a 2-hour process the nurse said all I seemed to need are some injections for spider veins. Then I met with Dr. Benjamin Tang. I was still in my paper shorts they provided and wearing my mask. Dr. Tang came in and left the door wide open, wearing no mask and sitting 6 inches from my face, while spewing spit droplets, he questioned me: "What medication did they inject you with?" "What are the names of the ablations that you had?" "What were the dates of your procedures?" I had no specific answers, I'm not a doctor! He told me to stand and turn around, I was on display so I reached to close the door at that point (he never thought to do that). He repeated multiple times that he had no records and this was no longer VCA. I asked "Where do we go from here?" He said "Nowhere". I asked about the injections needed and today's ultrasound. He said he could do nothing without knowing the meds injected and the types of ablations I had. I said "I've been here for 2 hours and you can't do anything?" He said "I've been here all day!" I complained that I'd be billed for this visit leading nowhere. He said "This is just a consultation". The nurse said "No, she had a full ultrasound so she'll be billed." I called the following day and requested my records, gave my fax # and was told it could take up to 30 days because a different department handles records. My new doctor (Dr. Karamichos, Region Vein PC in Munster IN, who formerly treated me at VCA) needs these records so that I don't have to go through ANOTHER ultrasound. I have filed a complaint and a review with the BBB and I hope they can help me get my records sooner. I have no complaints against the nurses there- only Dr. Tang. He's rude, insensitive, unprofessional, unsanitary and unknowledgeable. I cannot believe he is a real doctor. He should NOT have contact with human beings.

Worst Medical Practice Ever
Learned a valuable lesson to check ALL reviews and not just the company web site. USAVeinCLINICS is the most unprofessional medical practice I have ever encountered. They change appointments without notice and NEVER keep scheduled appointments.
I started treatment at the Bethpage, NY location Wednesday, February 1, with Dr. Maleson and scheduled more visits for Wednesdays going forward. Without notice my appointments were changed to Mondays as the clinic was no longer open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Not much of a choice of availability.
February 27 I waited an hour & a half to see Dr. Maleson, but was told he was in surgery and I would have to see a different doctor. Monday, April 3, I had a 3:33pm appointment and by 5:05pm I was still sitting in the full waiting room. That's when I decided to cancel ALL appointments and look for treatment elsewhere. I requested all my treatment records, and tests results, but the staff was unable to provide that at that time. However, Friday, April 7, I returned to the office and was able to obtain my records. I will say the staff do their best to help & care for patients but they are not in control of scheduling. The corporate headquarters in Chicago has no idea how much time should be allotted to each patient ( nor do they care) and is only interested in the bottom line.
It is painfully apparent that they have not adequately staffed their clinics, and have complete disregard for patient’s time and comfort. No one should sit hours in a waiting room when they have a scheduled appointment. Don’t waste your time with this company.

Dr. Todd Greer is good but the billing department & preauthorization practices are TERIBBLE! One hand does not know what the other is doing.

They are thief, they charge my credit card for a no show appointment that I CANCELED ahead of time because my insurance wouldn't cover the treatment. Don't get involve with this company, too many reports of fraud on BBB. Be aware.

Very unprofessional office as well as doctor. I had to request that they sterilize my leg prior to the procedure as they didn’t on first one. Then they charged my credit card without permission for amounts already paid by my insurance and now after 4 months and them admitting they owe me, they refuse to give me a refund. I cancelled all remaining appointments and will find another provider that will give me better care and service.

Financial agreement that they make you sign on the beginning you're f***** they will take $250 if you cancel one appointment! If you want to be a sick tired exhausted dealing with b******* This is the place.

Unbelievable!!! You make an appointment through the call center… you go to the appointment and there is no one at the desk when you walk in. So I sat and waited and then an older couple walked in and asked is there was anyone around. Apparently they were booked the same time as me. Since no one had acknowledged us, that didn’t seem to matter. I decided to start hollering to the back with all its closed doors. Finally someone appeared and said they would be right there. She said she was the only one there and couldn’t manage the front desk and do her job. Whatever she was doing was unknown at the time since there were no patients there at that time. About 1/2 hour later, she came out and checked us in. The older couple had left a sick dog in the car and even though I was there first, I volunteered to have them go first. I went to the grocery store and came back and hour later as instructed. They were still not finished their appointment. After about another 1/2 hour, I was finally seen. I had my main procedure done and then had some scelertherapy done on my left left leg and foot. He was working near the ankle and his needle hit a nerve that went all the way to my big toe. I jumped and be said “ hit a nerve, did I? I figured okay it wasn’t that big of a deal but two months later, I have numbing and shock like pain in my toe and foot. Now, on to my follow up appointment. I had changed the time of my follow up appointment with the call center to later that day. When I arrived, the doc was sitting at the front desk and indicated how lucky I was because he was about ready to leave. In other words, he never got the message about the change in my
appointment. Okay, second follow up appointment…. I arrived about 15 minutes before my 10am appointment and the door was locked. I called the call center and told them no one was there and the door was locked. Once again, there was another patient scheduled at the same time as me waiting in the parking lot. Finally, the doctors assistant arrived at 10:20. The other person walked in about 1 minutes before me and she started taking his info. Not a word was mentioned, no excuse for lateness and not even a hello, or I’ll be right with you. She took him back and I waited another 1/2 hour and another person walked in and wanted to know if there was anyone there. I explained my situation and frustration and she started to yell to the back to get someone’s attention. The assistant said she would be right out. After about another 1/2 hour, I took a piece of paper off the desk and wrote that I was leaving and would not be back. I called the call center and said that I left and explained why and they suggested that I reschedule. I said I would not do that until I spoke with a supervisor. Still waiting for that call. If my foot does not remedy itself in another month, I plan to bring suit against this organization and/or the doctor that treated me.

Since USA Veins Clinic has taken over you can’t speak to a doctor or nurse assistant at the office. All calls are routed to a call center who are no help for existing patients except to make an appointment. Before this buy out, you could call the office where your procedure was done and ask for a nurse to call you regarding complications your having. I had before what turned out to be trapped blood after my procedure and called and was able to get seen the next day. Now I’m having what I think is the same problem and I can’t get past the call center. I had to make an appointment 2 weeks from now. Very disappointed with the change.

I started with in May of 2022. Although my insurance had given me the wrong information. They rectified the situation, paid the 2600, and I had paid $425 out of pocket. This $425 was to be refunded to me. September 20th, they said Jose the Supervisor stated the refund was due back to me. So here we are 2/6/23 still no refund. the run around and BS. i WOULD NEVER, AND WOULD NOT RECOMMENDE ANYONE TO GO TO THIS BUSINESS. I sent in numerous mail correspondence, over 20 emails. still no refund

This company holds over $4k of my money that they overcharged me and refusing to give it back. The worst customer service ever, I never thought in my life that this kind of theft would be allowed in the United States. They are not disputing the fact that I have a huge credit on my account, just simply making up excuses for 4 months now why they are not ready to refund.
Avoid them like plaque!
