Dr. Wan Lin Homg

I feel lucky to find Dr. Homg. She is an excellent doctor that took care of me. She is ethical, knowledgeable, and very understanding.
She genuinely puts me first, knowing I have insurance problems.
She showed me compassion and professionalism.
A big thank you to Dr. Homg and all the staff that made my visit easy and pleasant.

Very dishonest company

Very dishonest company. Over changed my insurance . Copied and paste my signature in a way that looks that I give them permission to take money out of my account. They should be taken to court. How can they get away with fraud. ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ please stay away from this place

Belmont location

Belmont location. By Far the worst experience ever!!! Went in for treatment of the right leg(GSV). Started treatment on June 6th. June 20th, treatment #3. My leg became severely infected. My leg grew twice its normal size because of the swelling. I could not walk or sleep because of the pain. I went in to the doctors office on June 27th for a pain visit. I was told, this was normal. I had a fever, chills and extreme pain. Instead the the wound is cleaned with iodine, and says, the swelling will go down. I was prescribed an antibiotic. When I get to the pharmacy, the pharmacy technician tells me the prescription was incorrectly written. The pharmacy tech tries calling the doctors office, but the doctor’s office doesn’t have a direct line, all calls go to a call center. I waited, and waited and no one ever got back to the pharmacy tech. I decided to drive back to the clinic near Milwaukee and Belmont from Pilsen. I get to the doctors office and explain the situation, and they say, you could’ve just called. I said, how am I suppose to call if there is no direct line to this office! They tried writing another prescription, but they didn’t have a prescription book at hand or could not send the prescription directly to the pharmacy. Finally customer service calls me from Vein Clinic Center and tells me that I can pick up the prescription the following day at a different clinic location. Keep in mind, I am in serious pain, can’t walk, I’m burning up with a fever and chilis. That same day I ended up in The emergency room. The ER doctor reacts with, what the hell happened to your leg! I was there for one night. I was hooked up to an IV immediately to help bring down the severe infection and swelling. The Following week I went to see the doctor, AGAIN, to show what happened and how I ended up in the hospital, and to ALSO show my leg, which was still swollen and in pain. Again, I was told this was normal. It is now July 29, YES JULY 29th, and I have a huge lump about 4 inches in diameter, which I was told is healing tissue. I went to see my primary care doctor. She said this needs to be seen by a surgeon because it might need to be drained. THIS DOES NOT LOOK NORMAL.This is my experience and I’m not here to put anybody down or give a bad reputation to anyone, perhaps this was just my bad luck. Good luck to all of you that read this review and are thinking of varicose vein treatment. Do your research, and do it well before going to any clinic. I would add photos but I don’t think anybody wants to see a severely swollen and infected leg. Too graphic!!!

Dr Gina and her staff in Titon Falls NJ are great. The procedures seem to be working well. I must agree with everyone else, the call center is horrible, it makes you want to cancel all your planned visits because you lose confidence in the company, but if you can get past that I recommend it.

I was a long term patient

I was a long term patient. If I could give this business a zero for business practices I would. I received a call from the corporate billing office approximately a week before my next appointment about a small balance due. I was told it was ok to pay that balance on my next visit and that a notation would be put in my file stating that no further contact was needed regarding my balance. In the ensuing week I received multiple phone calls and text messages asking about the balance. I even received a call again the day of my appointment as I was walking into the office for treatment from corporate billing! as promised, I paid my balance and conveyed my unhappiness about the number of contacts that bordered on harassment to a sympathetic local office staff.
After my appointment, I called the person that I was told was in charge of billing to express how unhappy I was at the number of times I was being contacted. Each time I called I was transferred multiple times before being told that the individual I needed to speak to was in a meeting, out of the office, on break... I left messages each time. I
made 6 calls between 7/14/23 and 7/24/23 trying to reach this person without any success. I have never been treated by any company in such a shoddy manner. Save yourself the frustration and get the professional services that you need elsewhere!

Disgusting

It's unfortunate really. The ladies at the office I visited are so nice!
This place is deceptive.... extremely
Any and all calls you make go through a call center and not the actual office. Getting in contact with the office is way more difficult than it should be! On top of this, the amount of notifications sent are disgusting. I would recieve 4-10 text messages and multiple calls for appointment reminders/confirmations. It is very much SPAM.
They also will charge your personal debit / checking account WHENEVER THEY WANT. I had a random transaction for hundreds that I did not authorize. I didn't receive a bill for this. No email, no text, no call. They just took it. Then when you do call and try to speak to someone about it, they are very rude and belittling in their billing department. It is absolutely despicable and disgusting! They do not help at all. This company is money hungry and does not care about the patient. I have canceled any appointments I had in the future and absolutely refuse to return.

Rip OFF!!!

Went for initial appointment. Had an MRI done on my legs. Computer down, never got the Dr consultation. They just scheduled 8 more visits all in one shot. After notifications that I would not return they charged me $250 "no show" fee. Tried talking to corp Mgr. No response 🤬

I would have given no stars if…

I would have given no stars if possible. For the consultation, the doctor came out to the waiting area and introduced himself as Dr Steven Cohen from Chicago. He did a lot of talking and I found out he was an oncology surgeon. Not vascular. That should have been another clue but I assumed he knew enough to do what I needed done. (Yes, I’m stupid for trusting). I had my initial ultrasound by a very good technician. Dr Cohen came in the room after and briefly described what the plan would be to treat my veins. I received a printed out schedule of 4 procedures and follow up visits. The next week I arrived ten minutes early and waited. I must add that there is no reception desk and the place still looked like it was not done physically. I walked the dark halls looking for a person to acknowledge I was there. I ran into the nurse who told me to go back to the waiting room. About 10 minutes later Dr Steven Cohen came out and told me there had been a mistake in “the system” and 3 patients were scheduled at the same time and I would have to wait over an hour or so.He told me to go shopping for a while. I had taken that time off work so I didn’t feel like shopping. He said I could reschedule, wait, or cancel. He then went back to whatever he was doing down those dark halls. I went to my car and called the main number I had been given 855-444-5975 and told them I was at the office and explained I couldn’t wait for my appointment and was highly disappointed at how I was being treated. I told him I need to cancel this appointment and any others moving forward. They rescheduled me for June 30. I canceled that as well. Now I received notice they charged my card for a “no show!” I immediately called the number again and spoke with Henriquez and explained to him everything that happened. He told me he was sorry about my experience and said they would reverse the charge. I’m waiting to see if this happens. This place is creepy. On the outside it had bright window pictures with also the words “walk ins welcome”? You walk in and a very loud buzzer goes off but there’s no reception desk. You sit you wait. At some point a tech comes out with her tablet and goes through everything with you. Then after much to do about the computer system not working properly, a very good tech brings you to a room and does the ultrasound. Then the doctor comes in and all seems normal. Till you go back for the first procedure. It’s such a disappointment.

Avoid USA Vein Clinics

Referred to USA vein clinics after my Vein Clinics of America office closed (told they were bankrupt). Vein scan was conducted same as years before, Dr. and tech were very helpful considering they were understaffed and had not even had time to eat lunch. Dr. recommended course of treatment and set appointments for me. My insurance sent me a letter letting me know that the Dr.was out of market and would only cover at their out of market rates. Letter also said this rate was not guaranteed. I called my insurance, they recommended I find out what procedures would cost so I would have an idea what I may owe if insurance didn’t pay. Started calling USA Vein for info. 3rd “customer care rep” sent me to billing department. No one would tell me procedure costs and kept trying to get me to pay my scan bill over the phone. Told them would not give cc# over phone and asked for paper bill and gave my address as requested. Tried calling number on emailed invoice for scan and number was not in service. After reading reviews here (wish I had researched sooner) i decided to not get in any deeper with this company. Made phone calls for 4 hours trying to cancel upcoming appointments before 48 hour “no show” window. Recorded all of the calls: put on hold multiple times until they hung up on me, transferred then hung up on, lied to by 2 reps who said they had canceled appointments (I stayed on phone till they sent me confirmation, one sent me another text of my treatment plan and the 2nd rep sent me a screen shot of what appears to be their reservation system showing the wrong dates and times). Finally got 2 texts about cancelled appts. from Minnesota Medical. 3 days after giving my address for billing, received a call wanting me to give my cc# over phone, told him I am waiting for paper bill “we are a paperless company”. I will be getting a prepaid cc to pay my scan bill. Caller told me he would be calling me back today until I have paid.

Excellent care!

Doctor Horng provided me with the best treatment she could offer. She took extra time to help me understand the decisions necessary for my specific issue.
I have never met a doctor who seemed genuinely concerned about me as she did.
I would highly recommend her. Her expertise in the field of medicine is vast, but it's her kindness and consideration that is so rare.

Don’t waste your time!

I worked for vein clinics of America before it got taken over by USA vein clinics and ever since then it’s just been going down hill. They don’t care about what is actually going on with the patient they just want to sell them a treatment plan. They don’t explain what is going to happen and they don’t tell you how much they’re going to charge until you finish with the whole appointment even then it’s only an estimate so they’re still a chance you’re insurance could charge you more. Just don’t go there to any USA vein clinics you’re better off anywhere else.

This company needs to go back to…

This company needs to go back to Kindergarten & start over. The staff at the clinic I visited is great; it’s the big wig greedy corporate crap that needs to be dealt with. They better watch their P’s & Q’s—the word is already out regarding their awful / terrible protocol. Shape up or ship out—people have enough garbage & aggravation in their lives; don’t need any more.

I finally got my refund

I finally got my refund. After MONTHS of getting the run around from USA Vein Clinic I filed a claim with the Illinois Attorney General (easy to do online) and they were great to work with. I filed with Illinois because that is where USA Vein Clinics home office is located. I do not live in Illinois and they still helped me. My situation was very similar to other complaints on here. If you are owed money and getting nowhere try this. My issue was resolved in just a few months.

I had a vein scan procedure on…

I had a vein scan procedure on 09/21/2022 and I was charged in advance $357 via credit card for the date of service. They billed my insurance for the date of service and according to Insurance my out of pocket should be $25.66. USA Vein Clinics owes me a refund of $331.
I have called them multiple times. I spoke with Christian, Joe, Felix Sanchez and all they says is that refund is waiting approval.
Feliz Sanchez called me on 05/03/2023 (after 5 months from my first call) asking for copy of the insurance statement and the same was sent on the same day. He mentioned he would call me by 05/06/2023 and until now nothing. I have called him and the billing department other 3 times and sent other 2 emails with no response.
There was another two procedures on Nov/15 and Nov/28 which I should own $31.64 but never receive a billing via mail.
On the phone with Felix Sanchez on 05/03 I agreed with him he should discount this amount from refund I should be receiving and nothing still.
I have also emailed wecare team and copied them on all the emails to the billing department and not a single response or feedback either
Appreciate support

Bad Customer Service

If I could give less than one star I would! I started working with Dr. Greer's office in Alpharetta, GA a few years age when it was Vein Clinics of America. It was professionally run and the treatment was excellent.
However, USA Vein Clinics purchased VC of A and they have messed it up big time. I had purchased a treatment package and had 2 superficial vein treatments to go on a package of 4. I had one after the new management took over. I was told they were aware of the packages and it was no problem. They did not have a knowledgable person at the front desk, and as a matter of fact they were floaters between offices. So after that visit I started receiving invoices. I made numerous calls to customer service and was told, oh we see you purchased this, no problem. But they kept coming, and I kept calling to try and get it resolved. After the last attempt 2 weeks age (when I was told they would expedite the correction), I received a notice from a collections company. Enough, I'm not jeopardizing my credit for these jokers. You win, I paid money I didn't owe just to make you go away. RUN,RUN,RUN away from this company! So sorry for Dr. Greer to be stuck with these incompetents, he was great.

Long time client of Vein Clinics of…

Long time client of Vein Clinics of America. Had a package for 4 sclerotherapy appts. Was told USA clinics would honor. When calling to make appt, I was passed around to 4 people because no one could give me approval for my package and then was disconnected. I had to call back and was finally given an appointment. 3 months later I show up for appt - had to drive 3 hours to get there and they ask me for a payment because my package had not been approved….. it took another 30 minutes of fussing to finally get it approved.
In addition no one was at front desk when I arrived, was there 10 minutes before she came out and then the hassle about my payment began. These people are rude and inconsiderate, I will not come back!

Failing to provide the refund

The USA Vein Clinics of Miami owes me a refund of $1000 for my visit on February 2, 2023. They made me pay the deductible that I was not supposed to pay. My health insurance company called them multiple times, and the provider agreed that the refund is due. The case went to their refund department on February 16, 2023. It has been more than 3 months, and I still haven't received my money back. I have called the billing department at least ten times over this time period. Multiple ETAs for the refund have been given, and all of them are now past due. They are now unable to tell me when the refund will be provided. What a scam! Please avoid dealing with them to save yourself a major headache in the future!
P.S. And yes, I did contact that "wecare at usaclinics.com" email multiple times, and all of my messages are getting ignored.

USA Veins SUCKS!

USA Veins is horrible! Vein Clinics of America used the same call center system, but at least they did something. USA Vein call center just deflects, makes excuses or just hangs up on the customer. Try requesting your medical records and see the run around you get. I requested mine in February 2022 and still no records, but lots of excuses. Federal law states that they must provide records within 30 days of patients request, but they think they are above the law. I don’t think this company will be around for long before they are forced to close.
I will be filing complaints with the Commonwealth of Virginia and various federal agencies and urged everyone to do the same.
Of course USA Veins reply with the same canned email response, but still no medical records.

I will never use your services again

I will never use your services again. I was told that the Forest Lane office closed -- LIE. It is still open.

I had to go to the Richardson TX office [tripling my drive time each way], only to be told by Dr. Stephen Hsu that no treatment could be done since I had blood clots in both legs -- LIE. There were no blood clots and I have moved my business to another vein company. You can than him for you losing my business. He needs to learn how to do a correct scan.
