On the occasions I have had to call Vanquis they listened to what I needed to say and they gave me advice which was easy to follow and solved the issue more or less immediately.
I was not put on hold for ages and the A1 was quite informative.
I was informed about services that could apply to me and very good advice regarding possible fraud and scamming.
I have complete trust in the values that Vanquis operate by.

I needed a balance transfer done so I’m not paying any interest to get some of my debts down. It was really easy to do & brilliant for me going forward.

I’d give them zero stars if I could. I had to go to the FOS about them as they have failed to understand the difference between a DAS in Scotland and a DMP and were inaccurately reporting on my credit file. When the FOS investigator went to them they admitted they were wrong and offered £100 compensation. I declined as I didn’t feel it was enough after two years of negative markers on my account. The FOS agreed and told them to pay more than the £100 and they agreed. Lo and behold, today vanquis emailed me to say they have paid me £100 as per the FOS outcome. So they are a financial firm who do not know the difference in debt plans which many customers will have, they can’t even read a FOS outcome letter properly. I called to complain about this too and spent half an hour with a customer service assistant who through no fault of her own kept being given inaccurate information from other departments rather than putting me through to the specific area who deals with them. They obviously do not want to deal with customers and leave it to CS assistants. I’ve now had to go back to the FOS again as they have now breached the FOS final decision. Not only has it cost vanquis £680 alone for me having to go to the FOS, not to mention the compensation, they've failed to pay the ordered compensation and may face court fees from the FOS if they do not put this right.
It’s extremely worrying that a financial firm cannot read figures correctly.

Vanquis is not a card account that sets you up for failure. There is help and advice and encouragement to control your credit finance, with all the benefits of a credit card that provides financial support when you need it. I've been a customer for almost a decade and I have received a service that I am 100% happy with.
