These "snugg" boots in black are Infact snugg. The shaft of the boot anyway. I couldn't get my foot through with a sock on. Once in it was basically fine except for still being a little snug at the base of the shaft. I have a bit wide feet. But not that wide. And once in it was still tight around the stitching. I have only just received them and it isn't quite cold enough that I'd have to wear socks yet. So hopefully they give a little before Christmas and I can work something out. Break them in. Quality looks good though. They don't scream synthetic material. Faux shearling is a little thin. They still felt warm though. Would have given them a five star review if it weren't for how crazy right the shaft was. Great for ppl who usually have a loose boot complaint though.

I bought shoes for my boyfriend and received extra discounts for purchases after that. Quality was super good and I'd highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Twice I've had shoes that didn't quite fit and have I have messed up the return process (completely my fault) and they provided flawless, polite, friendly, and flexible customer service.

I have sent them an e-mail thanking them, have posted it on facebook in a local veggie group I'm part of, but wanted to make sure they get FULL credit because other companies aren't nearly as good!

I bought a pair of Herbert Shoe (brown) in early 2014 and i wore them almost every day until late 2015.
Very confortable and good value for money.
The shop online is well-organized and there was no problem during the whole shopping process.
I recommand this shop to everybody who is looking for cruelty-free ethical quality-shoes.

At first I was horrified, I spend over 1000 Swedish Crowns, and thats alot for someone who shares 10000 per month with their husband. They did not fit, and I had been so careful to choose the right size, and they were needed NOW at school. But luckily the material stretched in the sides and they became more and more comfortable. Though my feet took alittle bit of a beating. This was the steeltoe 10 holes black shoes.

Well designed website showcasing fantastic, durable and stylish products with an ethical (vegetarian) edge. Product details are good as you'd expect and staff favourites are also given a small accent with a link at the top. I've bought from this Brighton-based shop numerous times and have never been dissatisfied with my order. Many of their products are made in England and some in mainland Europe. Going by experience the build quality is great - a previous boot I owned didn't disintegrate as skin shoes may have - and I only replaced them once the super tough sole had mostly worn away. They've also been endorsed by Natalie Portman.
