Zero Flexibility on Changes

I purchased tickets to San Marco Basilica, and within an hour realized I picked one day. I contacted about a exchange, and answer was "no". Zero flexibility. Disappointing

we are sorry for what happened but please consider that the fact that this kind of tickets are non-refundable at all is clearly highlighted online among the information you were supposed to read before booking.
In any event, we are transparent in informing our customers about the cancellation policy of our services and always do our best to meet their needs by refunding the service or proposing a date/time change... Unfortunately, for some services, such as the skip-the-line service to St. Mark's Basilica, this is not possible but we make it very clear in order to avoid any possible misunderstanding.
We regret you didn't read carefully the information we provide online. We hope that your feedback may help other customers from avoiding to make the same mistake.

Professional & efficient

Easy to use website. Love being able to book all our museum visits and transport online well beforehand. Great discounts offered & efficient payment system. Excellent list of how to respect Venice & Venetians and have a good visit.

Wanted to reserve a tour which was 'on request' because it will took place in the bussiest time of Venice Carnival 2018. I've contacted the agency and in few hours everything was done

Not as Sold

No English used on the trip. The boat was not clean. Getting to the location was confusing. No "tour" other than being dropped off.

Cheap but painful

Tour group was too large and disorganised. People were getting left behind or getting lost because the tour guide had no idea who or how many were in the group. Because there was so many of us we were often 2 to 3 rooms behind so couldn't see what she was talking about. Tour guide talked a lot without making anything interesting. Also seemed to get into lots of arguments with people (at one point she called someone in our group rude because they wanted to stop and take a photo). Highlight was when she made the group wait while she went to the toilet. Unfortunately
She left her microphone on so we got more detail than we wanted. Most of the group were grumbling because headphones were staticky and made it difficult to hear.

Anyway, feedbacks such as yours are precious to better understand the needs and expectations of our customers, so we always take them into account in order to improve the quality of our services. For this reason we have already sent your complain to the guide in order to avoid that a low-quality service prevent even a single customer from enjoying the tour.

Upset and frustrated

We bought tickets for the Doge’s palace on our last day in Venice (27/10/2017) only to be told at the palace that it was shut for a meeting. When you buy online through a vendor like this you know there’s no point in trying to get your money back but this was €40 down the drain.

As for the necessity to print the tickets, please consider that the regulation of Venice Civic Museums requires to show a paper copy of the voucher at the ticket offices therefore we have to comply with it… But we are transparent in informing our customers about this, both online and on the voucher!

Ripped Off

The boy who collected our vouchers was absolutely rude to not only us, but a British couple who paid online with Trip Advisor and their documents were sent to wrong email. The boy told the couple they couldn’t take the tour which brought the wife to tears. Our tour was only 1 1/2 hours long. We only visited 4 locations and it was conducted half in Spanish for 1 couple and for the other 8 people it was done in English. So we lost a tremendous amount of time trying to accommodate them at our expense.

We feel as though we were ripped off.

Actually, we cannot do anything for the couple who booked through Tripadvisor… We may suppose that they could not attend the tour because they didn’t have the vouchers. Our customers would not have this kind of problems, since we always provide them with an emergency number: they just have to call us to solve any problem. We regret they didn’t book with us! As for the bilingualism of the tour, please consider that it is clearly specify online, in order to warned our customers about that before they book… We regret you missed this important detail!

The skip the line tour that doesn't!
Please be aware that if you book a tour of St Mark's Basilica and it rains so the boardwalks are in use it is impossible to get to the meeting point. The advice the company will give by phone is that you must join the line with everyone else. No refund will be given despite the company not fulfilling the 'skip the line' part of their advertising.
Not impressed!

we are sorry you were not satisfied with our service. Unfortunately, the phenomenon of ‘acqua alta’ cannot always be forecast in advance and this may cause problems to visitors or even fully inhibit the access to the Basilica. As per your case, tours are usually suspended only in the case of exceptional high water and we can assure you that you would have certainly refunded, if your tour was cancelled! If the tide level does not prevent the regular operation of the tour, it regularly takes place and participants are not allowed to get any refund, even if the skip-the-line service does not operate regularly due to force majeure reasons . We apologize for any inconvenience but high water is a real problem for Venice and its inhabitants and it may affect the experience of tourists as well. We can assure you that we always do our best in order to minimize any inconvenience to our customers.
