Wonderful Group Excursions!
I am a seasoned Travel Agent that specializes in cruises. I had a small last-minute group on a Greek Isles cruise...
I worked closely with Olivia, who was fabulous!
She was very detail oriented and very patient with all the changes that this small group made.
She arranged EVERYTHING:
*private airport pick up w/transfers to cruise port of Civitavecchia
* Santorini- Private Megalochori Village & Oia Tour
* Kusadai Turkey- Private House of Mary, Ancient Ephesus and Temple
* Naples- Amalfi Coast Highlights: Sorrento, Positano & Amalfi
*Rome- Private port pick up with Rome Highlights Tour (we made it our own) with hotel drop-off
* Rome- Private hotel pickup with airport drop-off.
Seriously, each tour operator was better than the last...BRAVO!

The private Guide & Driver were awesome!
The private driver was professional, the guide exceptional and the walk was adjusted for abilities. The guide also helped us find a lost item, and patiently waited while all of the group moved through customs in Amsterdam. We had 11 in our group, and would definitely use again.

Touring in Kusadasi
We had a fabulous guide her name was Gonca and our driver was wonderful also. She was so informative and fun, took us to Ephesus, a hand making rug factory, a family owned pottery shop, a beautiful family owned lunch restaurant, and of course shopping! Great tour, on time and fun.

We recently booked a 5-day shore cruise excursion with Venture Ashore for a group of 22 people, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations—largely thanks to Corey Bell.
From the very beginning, Corey demonstrated exceptional planning skills and attention to detail. Coordinating an itinerary for a group of our size is no small task, but everything was thoughtfully organized, well-paced, and tailored to suit a variety of interests and needs within our group. Her communication throughout the process was clear, prompt, and reassuring, which made the planning phase smooth and stress-free.
During the trip itself, Corey’s preparation truly shone. Every aspect of the excursion—from transportation to activities—ran seamlessly. Timing was spot-on, transitions between stops were effortless, and we always felt well taken care of. It was evident that a great deal of care and professionalism went into ensuring everything worked perfectly.

A great time at Ephesus
I'd just like to share that we had a fantastic trip with Venture Ashore on 28th March.
My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised to find that we had a private SUV for the duration of the trip to Ephesus.
Our tour guide was called Pinaar and she was highly trained and thoroughly pleasant throughout. She went to painstaking lengths to make sure that we had the best experience possible and that we were fully informed on every detail.
Pinaar was very friendly and helpful. We had such a lovely time with her, that day. I'm sure that was enhanced because we were on a trip that was tailored just for us.
I will certainly highly recommend Venture Ashore in future. That was the best sort of excursion because of the exclusivity and because of the wonderful guide we had.

Multiple Excursions for large group
Olivia really took care of my group of veterans. Each excursion was perfect for our group. The one that really stood out was out Ruins tour in Costa Maya. One of my clients was really worried about "extra shopping" stops along the way. That never happened and my clients had a great time. All the excursions were with the best quality of service. Great Value and experience
Our tour director was fantastic and the tour was informative. The rubs and chicken from captain”s was delicious. We especially liked the Topper’s Rum Distillery tour and got to meet Topper himself. The only thing that we did not get that was on the description was the two alcoholic drinks at Captain’s Ribs & Chicken. I had a few clients ask me about that and we never could get an answer from the server. Overall a great experience!!

Dumped in Barbados-not returned to ship
The tour in Barbados was nothing as described. I complained at the time and was issued an immediate refund. The company contacted the tour company while we were on the tour who promptly left us on the beach and didn’t return to take us back to the ship. Despite a “return to ship guarantee” Venture Assure are refusing to pay the 30 dollar taxi fare back to the ship. It certainly would not have been cheaper for them to fly us to the next island, which makes me wonder who regulates them and wether the return to ship guarantee is genuine.

As noted, we issued a full refund at the time of your complaint, as we always aim to resolve concerns as quickly as possible.
We would also like to clarify that the tour driver did return to the agreed meeting point and was waiting to collect you. However, we understand that you had already arranged a taxi back to the port at approximately 2:15pm, ahead of your ship’s 5:00pm departure. The port is located around 7 minutes from the beach club, allowing ample time to return comfortably.
Our Return to Ship Guarantee is designed to protect guests in the unlikely event that a delay on tour results in a missed departure. While this situation did not fall within those terms, we would like to reassure you that we have never had a guest miss their cruise as a result of one of our tours.
We do, however, take your feedback seriously and are reviewing this with our local partner to ensure service standards are maintained.

Two excursions cancelled 3 weeks before cruise
We booked 2 excursions through Venture Ashore 6 months before our cruise. They cancelled both excursions 3 weeks before the cruise with no explanation. They are still selling both excursions for the dates we had booked. We were left scrambling for new excursions just a few weeks before our cruise. I would not recommend Venture Ashore to anyone.

While we understand how frustrating this can be, particularly when you have booked well in advance, the decision is made only when it becomes clear that the tour cannot operate as planned.
Whenever this situation occurs, our team always does its best to assist guests by offering alternative excursions or similar options where available. In your case, alternative tours were suggested, although we understand you chose not to take up those options.

Id recommend Venture Ashore excursions
We did several Venture Ashore excursions whilst on a recent cruise from Singapore to India. All of them were different and suited our needs perfectly. We liked being in private cars with a guide. They were all extremely knowledgeable and ensured the trip went smoothly. We were informed before excursion where pick-up would be and we were returned to ship in plenty of time. I would recommend Venture Ashore excursions

Excellent Indian Tours; Great Communication
We used Venture Ashore for 3 shore excursions on or recent cruise to Singapore, Thailand and India.
I booked all 3 with Corey, who is based in the U.K., and was extremely quick in her responses and very helpful in getting tours booked. She also helped me book a tour at short notice while we were on board the ship, as I wasn’t able to book online.
We spoke on the phone initially, as one of the tours I wanted was a pick up from the cruise port, a full day Mumbai city tour, with drop off at the airport, so pulled together for us.
All the tours were very enjoyable, with small groups, which is better than the big coach loads you get with the ship organised excursions.
Communication by the tour operators on the ground enforce each tour was excellent, with the operator contacting me via text or WhatsApp to provide collection time and place. The tour guides used were all extremely knowledgeable and geared their tour to the group demographic.
I will definitely use Venture Ashore again on my next cruise/trip.
