SCAM

SCAM! They charge you a subscription fee to get access to a data room. HIGHLY suspicious and unusual. Make me pay to get access to a spreadsheet?! Please.

So sad that promising looking businesses are gatekept by this horrible brokerage. Yet to be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if they inflate financials to make you pay to request more info. DO NOT ENGAGE!

My heart sinks when I see a good…

My heart sinks when I see a good potential listing, and it ends up being represented by VestedBB.
Worst company to deal with, they kill deals and charge you a subscription fee to even SPEAK to a seller or gather financials?
I can't stand this company, and their success is shocking to me.

BUYER BEWARE! Don't Waste Your Time or Money.

If I could give no stars or negative stars to really express how much someone should avoid this place at all cost, I would.

Baited by all of the "listings" that they post on 3rd party websites, I created an account and reached out to the broker for the respective listings of interest (two years ago). Fast forward to 2nd quarter of this year, seeing more listings of interest, I reach out to the broker. Broker can't find my profile. I send him a screenshot. Tells me to contact customer support. They labeled me as a broker in their internal system based on an assumption, without verifying with me, my intention for soliciting information on their businesses. I email another broker and he just never replied to any of my emails. I would call and would go straight to voicemail telling me to send an email for an NDA, that I had already completed. The same broker who couldn't find me in the system, ask me to request an address and I can only do so if I am a premium member. I pay the 99 for premium and request the address. Still no information provided. No more further communication or response from the broker. I call to ask why I am not getting information about the business and they tell me that the owner will call me. The woman is a piece of ego work. Her arrogance was top tier and really sheds light on why people shouldn't work with VBB. After 10 minutes of speaking with her, informing her that I am in fact not a broker, I said I don't want to work with her and VBB and that I wanted a refund. She kept asking what can be done so that I could continue to work with them. Even in her backwards way of trying to repair it, she was still unprofessional and arrogant. And I still haven't received my refund (on principle). Being in the industry for so long, explains why she was boastfully arrogant, lacked customer service, and charges people $99 premiums. They apparently aren't making much money and need to create a stream of income, disguised as gatekeeping for their sellers. Their systems and processes make it complicated for Buyers to connect with Prospective businesses. They aren't in the business of selling businesses. making it so complex for Buyers. Other leading M&A firms are pretty well off without subscriptive services (TransWorld, IAG Mergers, Beacon, etc). Stay away from this company.

Do I HAVE TO GIVE THEM A STAR

Do I HAVE TO GIVE THEM A STAR? Charging prospective buyers? I can think of NOTHING nice or professionally complimentary to say at all about this organization’s business model. They represent the kind of people that give NYC a bad name.
