Joke of a company

If I could give minus stars I would! Joke of a company. Confirmed my purchase back on 14th November and still no refund issued. Attempted to reach them 6 times and in numerous different ways and nothing. Raised a claim with my bank. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Shocking service!

Shocking service!! DO NOT USE!!!! Been waiting for my refund for over 5 weeks!! Ordered a dress and paid for it and then when I didn't recieve my item I chased it up and they said it was out of stock so would refund me. I have been chasing my refund for weeks and getting no reply! I will be taking this further!!!!

If there was a minus star rating I would use that!!! DO NOT USE!
SHOCKING. I returned a dress 16th November, received an email to say it had arrived back at vestry. However I am now still trying to chase up the refund 19 days later! I can’t get hold of anyone to speak to which is extremely frustrating! I will be taking this further and seeking advice if the refund doesn’t land back in my account this week.

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Sent a dress back and within a few days received an email to say it had been received and that I would receive my refund in 3-5days. Now 3 weeks after that email I have no refund and I am being ignored on FB messenger and emails. I have tried the live chat but every single time I go on there are no advisors available. Absolute joke trying to get my money back.

European customers and literally anyone stay away

Anyone outside of the UK. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered a size medium dress, I'm between a 10 and a 12. It was TEEN TINY. Barely covered my modesty, didn't look much like the pic on the website. Anyway spent 10 euro on customs before i could get it, then 14 euros on sending it back in the registered post from ireland. Its been sitting in customs in England over a week and vestry the most unhelpful. Don't waste your money !!!!!

Vestry are telling a load of liers they don’t even give you there contact telephone number incase you have any problems you need to sort out with them all they do is email you the same old thing pls put ur email down for a ticket but they still don’t get back to you .It’s like getting through to a brick wall .I’ll never order from this company vestry again they are disgusting company .They never answer ur messages once they got ur money they don’t want to know pls Do not order from Vestry Any
one trust me .Vestry are No good

We did reply to your contact with us and explained our refund policy which you did not want to abide by, delivery charges are not refunded and returns are not free but we do provide a cheaper returns label which you can use and have this deducted from your refund, all explained on our site.

Thank you for contacting us, the delivery charge is not refunded, we also include a returns label which incurs a £3 fee to assist with returning (this works out much cheaper and easier than returning direct and organising a courier). Only ordered a couple of times from…

Only ordered a couple of times from Vestry but service was so fast and easy.
I’ve had so many compliments on two of the dresses I’ve worn so far.

Love Vestry, all of my dresses are from here! They fit perfectly and last wash after wash for years. Will always be my first go to for a new outfit

Poor customer service

Ordered an item which arrived in poor quality and frayed label, returned item to be told no refund as label frayed, kept my money and told I had to arrange collection within 14 days at my own cost or they will dispose the goods, (more likely to sell them on) Unable to speak to anyone on the phone, can only raise a ticket which has slow responses.

Hello Alison,

The item was not sent back with a 'frayed label' it was the seal tag, which was cut and removed. As we explained we cannot accept a return if we cannot prove it has not been used which is why the tag has written on it removal will void your return.

We also state on the site not to send an item back if the tags have been removed, as these terms of sale were not followed, as per our returns policy, we will not incur extra cost to return your items to you.

We did offer in spite of this to help if you were placing another order to put it in that order for you which you have since said you will do.

It is very disappointing of course to be given a 1 star review for not refunding a item where the seal tag was cut off and we leave this reply to give other customers context.

Charged £6.95 and have nothing to show for it!

I ordered an item and obviously paid the postage on it. I returned it as unsuitable and was charged £3 for returning. So I am out £6.95 without a thing to show for it. If they had a store at least you could go there try it on before buying and not be down nearly £7 for nothing.

Thank you for the feedback however postage charges are unavoidable on an online store. To return we cannot absorb free returns but we do include a pre-paid label that if used we charge just £3 to pass on the bulk saving to yourselves to help with returning as cheaply as possible.

I ordered the wrong size and after…

I ordered the wrong size and after chatting with customer service they changed my order as requested before it was dispatched. This saved me a huge amount of shipping and custom costs and ensured I would have my outfit in time for when I needed it. Fabulous customer service.

Lovely clothes but sizing do vary a lot depending on what you buy.

I do like the clothes that Vestry has, the only reason why I did not give it 5* is due to the fact the sizing vary so much.
