Toothless

Toothless. Absolutely no ability to enforce findings on Vets. Vets can remove themselves from process right at last moment. What is the point? A clever system set up by Vets to protect Vets. A waste of time.

Went to the VCMS for meditation after I had been to the RCVS - as with 99.3% of complaints that go to the RCVS it was rejected - the RCVS have been failing our animals and failing to protect the public interest for decades - they are criticised widely by many organisations including the British Veterinary Union, Which consumer champion and many others - what use is a mediation service if the vet can just reject it without even having to give a reason - let’s hope that the CMA deliver a long overdue independent ombudsman for this unregulated profession and industry that has lost public support and is fast becoming one of the most disrespected professions in the UK - I’ve been through the whole complaints process over 2 years and between the RCVS, VCMS and the VDS the system is broken, disgusting, biased and designed to break you down and frustrate - what good is the RCVS code of conduct if it is not enforced and over 60,000 vets in the UK know this and if that isn’t enough the vets are advised in many cases to go against their code of conduct and ignore it - and the RCVS do nothing about it - truly a corrupt, biased and totally rigged system that has been allowed to exist and develop by the vets own regulator - the RCVS!
