Norman was stung by a bee and had an anaphylactic response, which at the time was very worrying. The receptionist was very friendly on the phone and in person and clear about how to get to the practice, which helped a lot when we were worrying about Norman. Whilst there they were attentive and helpful and looked at different options of treatment to offer alternative costs. Lovely kind & helpful staff and would definitely go back.

We took our French Bulldog to VetsNow at Hilsea, Portsmouth, on Sunday evening at 11pm. We were introduced to a lovely lady who was very kind. We were then introduced to a very surley and brisk vet who had absolutely no empathy with our dog who was clearly distressed with an anal problem. As we are OAPs it was difficult for us to lift the dog onto to the table. He was very abrupt saying "I have a back problem so cannot lift the dog". My partner who has several health problems, including heart problems, had great difficulty in lifting the dog onto the table. The Vet in question was very miserable and had absolutely no empathy for either us or the dog. He was supposed to relay all of the consultation to our own Vet that day. We went to our own Vet on the Monday morning and he was quite surprised to see us. All the information that the previous vet had composed was not on her notes which necessitated the Receptionist to contact VetsNow for all the consultation notes. I would certainly NEVER recommend the Hilsea branch of VetsNow and certainly not the Vet that was on call that night. I would mention also that when he was not able to lift her off the floor onto the table, I asked for assistance from either a nurse or another vet but the vet in question said nobody was available to help. With spending over £400 that evening on treatment I would have thought that we would have been treated a little better than we were. Certainly not to be recommended again to anybody with an animal that is distressed and in pain.

Even know wasnt nice to be at emergency vets my dog was calm and they made big fuss over him when called in it made him relex abit staff were very friendly and helpful and very quick was in and out within 15 mins ty

Seen very quickly and the issue was dealt with, with sensitivity and support.
The vet was fast acting and gave advice about what to do in the future.

Extremely professional, very attentive and brilliant with our Cat who needed an emergency check up this week. Hardly any waiting time and staff very helpful with questions that were asked. Thank you for your help with our Cat who is know on the mend and feeling better

What you want in an emergency in the middle of the night. Kind, caring staff and an efficient service.

Took dog in for emergency overnight monitoring. great vet and practice nurse. Very easy but very expensive but our pet was worth it.

We were seen very quickly and the vet and staff really put us at ease!

My fur baby was poorly but I was lead to believe she would be ok and sent home with antibiotics and pain relief £342 to get home and my baby to have two fits and pass away in my arms with in 6 mins I phoned the vets as I was distraught to be told she was a very poorly bunny so why send me home with hope and meds to then be told they had given her morphine with out my permission and that made her overdoes and pass away everyone and every vet should know you can not give a rabbit any type off med like that as there little hearts can’t take it she was my best friend my child i never had and I’m so hurt angry and lost with out her she was still full off joy when she went in and come out and gone in my arms they are all about money!! As that’s all they kept saying is fund funds!! To me I’d pay anything to have her still with me now more concerned about being on there mobile phones then the care for animals would not recommend to anyone I’m heart broken!! Never felt pain like this my poor baby

My little girl was not well and stressed out, the practice behaved n a very professional and caring way and sorted her out in no time at all. Cannot praise them enough

We knew our dog had a blockage due to previous episodes but the vet decided he had gastro enteritis. So given antibiotics and sent home. 3 hours later re visited, dog could barely stand, different vet who admitted our boy for fluids and X-rays to look for blockage. X-rays not done.
We were then told to pick him up and take to our vets for further investigations. Lo and behold he was severely blocked with hard impacted faeces. Had an enema and now on the mend.
We also explained that our dog would quite possibly have eaten a foreign object and the sort of delay experienced could have had devastating consequences.
Your vet phoned our vets to apologise for not doing the x-rays. He had felt hard faeces in the dogs rectum where as the previous two said he was empty.
Feel so badly let down.
Do not recommend and would not use you again. Just wish our vets call had not directed to you and we could have sought local recommendations
