Vets Now - Worcester Reviews 

Two days after my dog had surgery I was concerned about her pain levels. It was 9pm in the evening and I had a video cal on with David. We went through some checks together in case I needed to take her to be seen and he took plenty of time to reassure me. They messaged my vets which prompted them to call me this morning to check how she was. A great service.

Really good customer service, with knowledgeable team and attentive staff.

The experience was very good, prompt treatment and sound advice. My only issue is the cost. I find a basic charge of £320 before any drugs are prescribed to be extortionate. I fully understand that it is an out of hours service, but as a person only a state pension, it is crippling.

Vet was lovely with us and our new puppy! She checked him over thoroughly and reassured us! Very grateful. Thank you so much.

Very nice and attending service. Helped us during a stressful time and trying to comfort our dog over the weekend while we have waited for a specialist referral.

From phone call to visit wasn’t pleasant. I was asked if I was phoning for a dog or a cat and I advised it was a bull dog at the beginning of the call. After going to reception of whom was rude we had to wait 30 minutes to be seen we do not class this as Emergency!

We were charged £320 just for the consultation plus £167 for blood tests. This is scandalous especially as they do not even offer a payment plan for those who cannot pay in full. Despite these extortionate charges they did not find out what was wrong with my dog and we had to take her back to our normal vet the next day, which was bank holiday Monday. Animal suffering should be given priority over greed.

We were there 3 hours. Although the vet came out and told us what was happening at frequent intervals doesn’t get away from the fact at how expensive it is.
Nearly £3000. Scan in heart. Bloods. Oxygen. Then injection of vetmedin for heart then sent us home.
We were not even allowed to use the toilet even though we were the only people there. They could see I was upset as crying….not even an offer of a drink of water !

The service was excellent and Prompt also very informative to what was happening at the time l will recommend the vets .

Brilliant service and due to the advice I was given Bear ( my pup ) is having heart surgery in 2 weeks and has been put on heart tablets until his surgery. I can’t thank you guys enough 🙏

Nothing against the staff who were very pleasant, more the fact they know they have you over a barrel so charge whatever they want knowing if you love your pet you HAVE to pay it (no where else is open out of hours after all). It's emotional blackmail and felt like as soon as they knew my dog was insured they could pluck up some ridiculous £ figure out the air. I was told it'd be £120 then was charged over £400 to wipe my dogs paw with a tissue, clip his nails and prescribe 3 pain killer pills.

I am still waiting weeks later for them to pay me back after my insurance paid the bill. During this time they bombarded me with emails and texts saying I owed them money still which just added massively to the stress of the situation. Very fast to take your money, incredibly slow and bad at communicating your refund. It feels like they've forgotten why they became vets in the first place.

Also I can never get through on phone to speak to anyone, even on the night of the issue I just ended up driving there because no one would answer the phone despite the place being empty of other patients on arrival. That said they have responded to my emails fairly quickly.

Again nothing against the Worcester branch, just the company's pricing in general needs to be looked at by a watchdog because it can't be OK to rip off good-hearted people in desperate moments like this. I full understand a premium should be paid for out-of-hours but this goes way above and beyond what I would consider to be fair (and certainly not justified).

Was there when I needed help. Vet was friendly and listened. Was good with my dog and gave me a clear explanation of her findings and plan of care.

Phone was answered immediately clear instructions given it was an emergency call for a dog on arrival at vets seen straight away all staff were wonderful informed about procedure to be given to dog by vet. Reception staff kind and helpful

My rabbit became sick with stasis out of hours and hadn't responded to home remedies. I was anxious about going to out of hours vet without insurance but the vet was excellent and she saved my rabbits life so was worth it. The team were kind and helpful.

I was so appreciative of the quick response, thorough and understanding approach from the vet on the phone and then when I came in. He gave advice initially to potentially avoid coming in. Despite being 3:30am the vet and nurse were friendly and happy to help and take the time with me and my dog. Can't thank them enough for their help.

From receptionist to the vet....the whole ordeal was made as pleasant as possible. Vet explained everything thoroughly. All staff were compassionate and understanding. I understood all procedures that were to be carried out and the Break down of costs explained.
Very worrying time but all staff were accomadating and even went out of their way to speak Spanish to my unwell Spanish dog :)
