They made my birthday special
They made my birthday special, people assisted going in and out ship that we didn’t trip, waiters in lounge super nice, easier to get to dining room than on the fourth floor.
Enjoyed entertainment every night.
Review of Great Lakes tour, June 9-19
The staff and dining experiences were great. Road Scholar excellent. Ship a disappointment.
great ship
great food, service and staff
and so was the entertainment
I can't think of anything that could have been better
Staff was exceptional
Staff was exceptional, food was excellent. Only disappointment ws stop in Escanaba, MI
Fantastic & Very Safe Time !
The Educational briefings/talks on ship were extremely helpful. I was very impressed by your guest tracking system (card swipes & physical check lists)- to verify that no one was left behind while exiting & reboarding the ship. The captain was great (skill & personality) to be only surpassed by the crew and cruise staff.
The ship was very clean
The ship was very clean. The room Stewart, SID, was great. The food selections were very good in both restaurants. The Waite staff helpful, courteous at all times. The entertainment was beyond FANTASTIC every night!!! SARA working in the bar(s) was the BEST. Kudos to her!! The excursions were very interesting.
Pleasant cruise
Pleasant crew, food tasty, entertainment wonderful, cabin comfortable and well attended, most excursions met expectations. 2 excursions needed help.... Escanaba museums ridiculous - they should highlight their lighthouse instead. Person on our bus for museum of the great lakes did not know the area and just read us from printed papers about things not related to what we were seeing. Liked it better when we got to Toledo and were left to explore on our own.
The ship was well staff. The only thing I would of liked to see more officers around. a

Best Cruise Ever!
Wow! What an amazing experience! This was our favorite cruise that we have taken and would go again tomorrow. The ports and excursions were so fun and very organized, thanks to the amazing, Wendy! Our dining experience was top notch. The food was so delicious with such a great staff to take care of us. Our most favorite part was Nicole, Sean, and Jeremy at 8:45 every night. What amazing entertainment and singers. I would love to have all of their music selections on my playlist. Putu, Sarah, Nancy, and Theresa knew us by name the first day and took such good care of us during the entertainment, at the bar, and at dinner. Our room was kept spotless by the caring, kind, and hardworking Sid. I also had so much fun joining the craft ladies led by Cindy and her sister. I brought home some pretty fun crafts to remember them all by. Captain Kerr was very kind and out and about a lot. Loved the tour of the bridge. Victory has a good thing going. They do a good job and they hire the best people! Thank you for an amazing time!
Cruise was great
Cruise was great, crew was terrific, tours were good,
food was very good.
Precruise communication with Victory was extremely poor. Ship's crew and red shirts were terrific at correcting unnecessary problems.

We truly enjoyed our cruise on the Victory 2.
Wendy did a phenomenal job helping plan our excursions and reminding us where to meet and at what time. (Multiple times she printed our itinerary as I kept losing it. And always with a smile)
Sarah was the BEST! Always sweet and smiling. Great service! Manuel did a fantastic job freshening our room daily. Food was excellent and we enjoyed both restaurants. The band was excellent. Afternoon “seminars” interesting and informative. Really can’t think of anything that needed improvement!
And as a bonus we now have new friends and look forward to seeing them again.
Our room was flooded the second night out due to horrendous wind and rain. We were promptly moved to another room and the clothes that got wet were laundered.
We loved our Great Lakes tour!
A lovely trip
The staff was excellent, serving great food even taking care of my special dietary needs. My waiter, Jeff, was very careful about serving me the items I could eat. Housekeeping was excellent, Enrique took care of keeping everything clean and it was so nice to have my bed turned down and ready for me. He also made sure that the chocolate treat was dark chocolate not milk chocolate. All the staff were friendly and polite.
The decor was elegant and homey, and there was a place for every need I might have. The entertainment was wonderful. I was so impressed with the talented trio who could deliver great music from classical to rock and roll. The "cooking contest" kept me laughing with their repartee, yet I also enjoyed watching the chef pull together a delightful entree, explaining the steps along the way.
The one thing I wish was presented differently was the map of channel 24. I would have liked references to the land locations we were passing. The captain made some references to some landmarks, but I wish the map could have shown them. I live on one of the Great Lakes and the land references would have been meaningful to me.
In conclusion, the overall experience was terrific. It was obvious that the Captain created a welcoming, relaxed, yet very professional tone that was contagious.

Had a 4th floor stateroom and it had only outside entry. Did not like that, weather was a factor. Room was small and shower smaller.
Staff was great, and food and included beverage was good and abundant. Excursions were well managed and guides were good.
Would not travel on Victory again because I did not like the boat.
A Great way to see the Great Lakes
The Crew is absolutely perfect--friendly and professional. The included excursions were interesting and fun.
