WORST COMPANY I’VE EVER USED! AVOID!
WORST COMPANY I’VE EVER USED. Atrocious customer services. I called them so many times regarding the terrible internet they gave me and they KEEP locking off on me! All I wanted was internet for my home and the rep said to me that’s too much to ask for? How is asking for what I’ve paid for too much? They want to charge me MORE money for the service that we agreed on in the first place! The customer rep, unbothered and uninterestedly, said to me “Right well then you have to pay £250 to cancel if you want” is he being serious with me? I’m just so disappointed that i entered into a contract with scammers. I will never use virgin again and I will HIGHLY recommend that no body uses their service unless they’re willing to get scammed. I rather use Talk Talk internet and they’ve been classed the worst internet providers at least they TALK to you on the phone and not lock off on you mid sentence.
Worst customer service ever
I have called multiple times and every time they have failed to find my account details so won't be able to help me with my problems. However, miraculously, they are able to find my account details to bill me every month. I will be cancelling once my contract is complete. Go with Hyperoptic if it's available in your neighbourhood - it's faster and cheaper, and you can actually get to a customer service agent/find your account.
Bunch of thieves...
Bunch of thieves.... Upgraded my phone and added on a Nintendo Switch for my Nephew for Christmas. Got it out of the box checked it and screen was ok and switched on.. thought it was ok. Came to Christmas and the charger port is broken. Called Virgin Mobile only 14 days return and Nintendo will deal with it after 30 days but will cost me £157 to repair. They are not interested in dealing with the complaint and basically told me it wasn't their problem.... If I could afford to buy out my contract would. Will never do another contract with them and just switched my home provider as well. Well done Mr Branson on sitting on your private island while providing the worst service ever....
Virgin are rude
Virgin are rude, incompetent and thieves. They doubled the price of my direct debit when I removed one of my services. They then told me they would add a credit to my account to resolve the issue. (It turns out they lied). I wanted to make a complaint and they told me I could complain in 5 working days!!!!! When I asked to cancel, I was told I would receive charges and there was literally no hint of an apology, despite an admission it was all thier fault. I will never use Virgin again, they are awful at everything
Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service. A phone call is never answered in under 30 mins and then is cut off halfway through a sentence and they never ring back. Broadband is not the guaranteed 100 - usually about 25. Problems are not addressed and I am continually left feeling frustrated, angry and abandoned. The television
After 11 weeks my problems continue.
NEVER EVER GO WITH VIRGIN|||||
Aweful intermittent service I really…
Aweful intermittent service I really hope he's not buying the NHS because we are screwed. £65 is a lot of money.
Expensive, lies, incompetence and charging you what they should not!
To summarize, they are:
expensive, liars, incompetent and thieves.
I moved home, so I decided to cancel my subscription.
Given the recent price increases (£120 per year over 2 years), I thought that was exaggerated for the service received. That's the expensive part.
They told me not to worry about re-sending the broadband router, I would eventually receive the special packaging to return it. Fine. I still had the original packaging, but if they insist...
Except that this is a BIG LIE. They never ever sent the packaging (after 5 weeks I think I would have received it).
They send you tons of reminders to tell you to send it back. So every time, I have to tell them that I have not received the packaging. Since early November, I have re-ordered the packaging 3 times, and never got anything so far. I even called to tell them I have not received that damn packaging, and they took (once more) my new address. Still never got the packaging: that's the incompetence part.
The theft is that they take the opportunity of their incompetence to charge you £40 for not returning the router. and this despite the fact that the person I had on the phone on Dec 5 said he would put a special note not to charge me. I guess that was a special note to charge me instead. I just got a text message to tell me they charged me for £40.
Useless Virgin Media Customer Service
Useless Virgin Media Customer Service . Every time I complain about the loss of internet/slow internet they end up cutting the line instead of sorting the issue. Internet speed supposed to be 100 Mbps but it reaches 20 Mbps if I am lucky. New Hub3 was promised a few times, it never arrived.
My incoming is not working
My SIM outgoing is working incoming is showing switched off, I am trying to reach there support team from yesterday we cannot contact there call centre the only way is trough sending message.
Really I made big mistake to change from Etisalat to Virgin no one is supporting they dont have service centre and no one has courtesy to call back.

Awful Experience.
We have had a dreadful experience with the customer service @Virgin Media. Every time we call, our ‘enquiry’ (complaint but they are so arrogant that they don’t have a complaints department) was passed to somebody else. Despite this, foolishly tried to renew my contract after my initial term was up... existing customers get the privilege of paying £5 more for the package than a new customer and that was through a long time of intense negotiations.
We won’t be going for Virgin media again and it looks like many others won’t too.
I see that they don’t reply on trust pilot because again, they are so arrogant that they assume people will just choose them through convenience. I’ll use the same words that my first girlfriend dumped me with: “Goodbye Virgin”.
I have Virgin Media cable/broadband…
I have Virgin Media cable/broadband etc. they are useless. We had issues with our telephone line, it was fudged and never resolved. Tonight we had a problem with broadband and when I called after 22 minutes on hold I gave up.
Do not give Virginn your business, they are useless. Use any other supplier. We have no choice because Virgin have the hold over fibre optic. Virginn is useless...find another company to supply broadband/TV
Dreadful
Dreadful. Installation team damaged tv stand then tried to blame it on the customer. When challenged suddenly offered a lump sum, clearly to make it go away. Avoid these cowboys at all costs!
Virtually 2 days without a proper…
Virtually 2 days without a proper internet connection on the virgin mobile. Disgusting. I have screenshots as proof!!
A company that likes to con people
A company that likes to con people. My parents requested all services to be terminated as they were going to BT and would be transferring their number. Waited the 30 day period and phone line was left active. Phoned again and have been told they need to wait another 30 days and would be charged. Complaints will be raised with Ofcom and pursued as far as possible
Absolutely pathetic,will be switching…
Absolutely pathetic, will be switching as soon as my contract is up,worst network ever, lucky to get 1 bar on my phone.
Total Amateurs
Yet another night of between 0 and 15Mb/s of internet, despite paying for the 100Mb/s. You ring up to complain and have to wait for ages to speak to anyone, before they ‘speed it up for you’, only to have it return to the same abysmal speed a few weeks later.
The worst internet provider out there. Avoid these amateurs.
Stress
The product itself is fine. Good telly and good fast internet. However, they clearly have some really difficult to manoeuvre tactics to try and squeeze more money out of you during transitional periods.
Recently they tried to remove the discount on month 11 of a 12 month contract. The issues I had trying to resolve this simple mistake were unbearable.
I left.
They called me with a super retention deal and I asked for the deal to be explained and confirmed in an email for comfort. They did and I was happy.
I received a hugely over priced bill which was out of sync with the agreed plan. I felt comfortable approaching the customer contact team with this email to hand.
Same again! Trying to get the person to resolve it even though he could see the email was unbearable.
I even said "See the email, just correct the bills to that".
"Computer says no, you need to pay the other bill also and we will refund you!!".
I asked to be passed on to the retention team as I am not putting up with it. They fixed the problem.
Complete shambles and I am completely uncomfortable with having a direct debit with Virgin Media. I am going to look into alternative methods of payment.
My advice is to avoid. However I don't know how much better the competitors are.
