Absolutely thrilling from start to finish!! Pilot Matt was welcoming, friendly and professional. He kept us informed of everything that we were doing, and made us laugh. Yes it was most definitely worth getting up at 4.00am for, we flew over the Nene, travelling east. Weather was superb, in fact I wanted to do the whole thing again 👌👌

A perfect morning over the Berkshire countryside with Mark guiding us safely above it.

I had had a problem sorting out my booking with a voucher, but Lynn sorted it all out for me and I was up and away the next mroning.

Our pilot Nobby was very personable and knowledgeable so we immediately felt in safe hands. The experience itself was just amazing- the perfect weather and views. Thank you to the whole team for the making our experience a memorable one:) x

A lovely early start seeing the sun rise and inflating the balloon ready for a lovely slow drift over the city of Peterborough a superb pilot and ground crew an experience well worth the wait

Had a great experience with Virgin in their hot air balloon over Evesham. Fantastic views below and above the clouds. Russell and Chris were totally professional and reassuring with their years of experience. The booking process can be a bit of a pain but from the moment arrived on the day it was very smooth and thoroughly enjoyable. I went up with a great group of people, it went so fast. What an experience.

Well organized from the directions to the launch site to being picked up. Getting everyone involved with getting the balloon up and packed away was good fun. Altogether a great morning.
We had many cancellations over 18 months and nearly gave up but was worth the wait.

Although we had to wait 3 years to finally get our flight it was very good. Pilot was very pleasant and good. On time and very friendly.

Enjoyed being involved in setting the balloon up and at the end packing it away.
Views were lovely
Only downside was we were told photos would be taken whilst on our trip but that didn't happen so good job we took a camera ourselves.
Would Highly recommend it but just be prepared the weather is not always suitable so might have it cancelled several times before going

I wish the flight would have been longer, what a great experience. I am terrified of heights, but the ride was so smooth we almost missed take off and the landing was perfect too. Such a unique and quiet way to travel and to see earth from above. Matt, our pilot was brilliant. Setting up and setting down were a great experience too. Do it!

Great service and help from start to booking our flights. We booked for 9 people and this was handled brilliantly. I would highly recommend using Virgin Experiences

The actual balloon flight was good however it took 10 attempts to actually get as 9 previous flights were cancelled.

I found the place without a problem. We helped to open up the envelope. It was a very smooth process and we were in the air by the time we supposed to. It was a beautiful morning. Great views. I enjoyed it. Very peaceful landing. We got a glass of prosecco and a certificate which was a good idea and the mini bus took us to the meeting point. I would definitely do it again.

A fabulous balloon ride experience was had, everything I thought it would be, well worth the wait as weather permitting had meant tgis was my 6th attempt at a ride. Pre, during and post customer service was 1st rate. Paul

This is something I have always wanted to do since I was a little girl so my husband bought me the experience for Christmas. Easy to book and as soon as we booked our flight we were kept updated right up to the night before with instructions for the day ahead. When I met Nobby he put me at ease straight away and went through instructions and the rules. The flight was fantastic and so calming as I didn't know what to expect. The landing was fun and felt like a fairground ride. A lovely touch at the end celebrating with a glass of bubbly. Would highly recommend this to anyone who has wanted to do this ride can't wait to book my next flight 😀

The pilot & crew were very experienced in flying and their professionalism made the flight so enjoyable and relaxed.
I would like to have been more informed of certain landmarks and areas of interest. However, this didn't stop a wonderful time in the air!

Balloon flight was great, staff friendly.
Telephone information accurate, fun to help with aet up and pack away.

This was such an amazing experience - right from the start to the end. Getting the balloon up, the ride, views was simply marvellous (we travelled a good distance due to the wind). My 10 year old was with us and he was absolutely beaming at the end. Our pilot Mark ensured the entire ride was very smooth.

I know a lot of people have faced multiple cancellations and there was a couple in my group that were on their 4th attempt but I was lucky to have gone ahead on my 1st try. So hang in there.

Few things to note for people wanting to try this:
- The website makes it seem like the staff can manage inflating and deflating the balloon on their own and customers can help only if they feel like it. I would say unless you help, the whole process wil be much, much longer. But don't worry, it's loads of fun (and still not mandatory)
- It can feel a bit hot if you are standing closer to the middle because of the flames used to heat up the air but it's temporary and doesn't affect the experience

All in all, really, really fun and if it was cheaper I would try it again very soon
