Bought a Vitamix Ascent 3500i 5 years ago. Have now just found out there has been a recall on the small cup accessory blender that I purchased alongside it. At no point did Vitamix reach out to tell m... See more

I purchased vitamix 7500i read all the reviews was excited about the purchase but it cannot blend smoothies to a fine consistency my Kitchenaid blender 10years old was doing a better job called vitamix they hadno solution trying to sell me anotherjar. I own a Baskin Robbins store I triedtheir cmmercial vitamix too many issues I am using Blendtec in my store for 10years very satisfied
Disappointed having a glorified blender
Having wanted a VITAMIX for ages just recently purchased a 2500i. Amazing at smoothies but unfortunately the bowl and cup attachments are for US models so when making hummus (amount for one) the tamper does not reach the bottom of the jug this is the same blending most ingredients. Thoroughly disappointed as now have just a glorified blender and an expensive one at that😞
Must have product …
Purchased from John Lewis delighted with product it’s exceptional - makes fab soups, smoothest smoothies & great ice creams it’s a must have product. I also had to contact vitamix as one of the rubber feet was missing I received this in less than 24 hours fabulous customer service
The best value kitchen gadget I've bought
Our Vitamix machine is just getting on for 5 years old, and in that time, we've used it most days at least twice a day. It really is the most versatile kitchen gadget out there, and we make everything from nut butter to soup to banana "nice" cream in it, and much more. The best part about it, however, is what must be the most comprehensive warranty on the market; due to the amount we use our machine, the containers have developed leaks a couple of times due to perishing rubber seals and bearings wearing out, and 5 years later, Vitamix is still giving us no-quibble replacements. Almost nothing comes with such a long warranty, and if it does, there are usually many strings attached. By contrast, Vitamix's warranty basically covers everything, including both workmanship and wear and tear, which you really can't argue with. Hands-down, the best investment I've made in the kitchen. It could only be improved if they developed a food processor attachment so I could get rid of my food processor - I'd buy that in an instant!
Piece of crap blender
First of all I'd like to state that I am a well educated technologically advanced human. I purchased a $30 blender from Walmart 3 years ago and subsequently lost the top for it. So I decided it was time to invest in a blender. I bought the vitamix and it was approximately $400 and was literally the worst investment of my life. It is not user friendly and has nearly cut my hand off twice and splashed me in the face numerous times. PLEASE DO NOT purchase this P.O.S.

I owned the VM0103 for years and we loved it. It started overheating so we replaced it with the VMO197. It was a total waste of money! I can't even make simple hummus without this thing overheating and smelling up the house. I can only assume Vitamix has really started cutting corners. Disappointing!
Had my vitamix 9 years it just stopped.
Had my vitamix 9 years and it stopped. Went online and advice to leave 45 mins and try agin, mine did not re-start. Phoned the helpline and got through to the nicest helpful American man. He explained that uk machines have a little switch on the base and to just switch it across. Then to plug in and try it. HEY PRESTO !!!.
Cannot describe how pleased I was. Excellent customer service.
A giant expenses for very poor quality and worse service
I bought their top of the range and top price Vitamix Ascent 3500i and within three months the jug no longer registered with the base unit. So eventually Vitamix sent me out a new jug. Within months it began crazing in a very specific area so once again Vitamix sent me out another jug and within days the same thing happened again. Now Vitamix are blaming it on my washing up liquid despite the fact it is plant based with zero harsh chemicals as would be used by their average customer and I only use the smallest drop you can squeeze out of it. I clean it according to their own manual instructions too. Also, if it were my liquid it would be dispersed crazing all over the jug and not in only one very specific area. An area I might add is of the weaker part of the jug as it lips up and more like is crazing from stress from the base unit which is likely why the first jug stopped working not my liquid! Vitamix are now giving me radio silence despite this being under warranty and less than a year in my possession. This machine is advertised as being a tough machine that I have had to treat with cotton gloves and still Vitamix blame the customer for their faulty equipment. Steer clear and save your money.
I think everyone should own a Vitamix
I've had my first Vitamix for 9 years. I love it. I use it every single days, at least once a day. It's like night & day with competitor brands. The powerful engine is worth the money, but I'm not sure about the extra bells & whistles. I've even given them away as Christmas presents. And Customer Service is great. A real human being answered the phone and figured out what was wrong immediately. I shipped them my machine and got it back good as new. I couldn't imagine my everyday life without it.
Amazing!
I have nothing but great things to say about my Vitamix. I absolutely love it and use it almost every day.
It has lasted for over 2 years and I have had no issues.
Great product and great customer…
Great product and great customer service! I was so hesitant to buy the Vitamix blender as it is so expensive. I ended up getting a refurbished model and it works brilliantly. Plus, had an issue with the container after about a year and they immediately sent me a new one as they have a great warrantee. Have had cheaper models in past but they don't work as well and don't last as long so worth spending more if you can as it's cheaper in the long run.
Love love love love my Vitamix
Love love love love my Vitamix
This thing is life changing!!!
Great aftercare support too.
Think the blenders should come with an appropriate spatula, charging an arm and a leg for one as an additional accessory is a bit cheeky.
Would have been 5 stars
Would have been 5 stars, has it not been for a dry container not being available to purchase in the UK, I purchased the latest model, and it does everything beautifully.......just can't use it for what I really wanted it for, making my own nut flours. They have said they will be doing one at some point, so will have to keep checking on their website for availability.
Makes healthy eating easy
The vitamix is ultra powerful and makes silky smooth smoothies out of items such as kale, spinach, fruits, veg, nuts and seeds. . Makes it so easy to eat healthily especially if you are in a hurry. Haven't tried making soup or nut butter yet but looking forward to this. Be warned as it is so powerful it is quite noisy. Expensive but worth it. Mine came with a seven year guarantee
