the worst

Simply the worst experience I’ve ever had. Dealing with them is impossible unless you involve a lawyer, as they seem completely unwilling to address any issues or provide solutions. Their service is outrageously overpriced for what you get—virtually no support, terrible customer service, and internet that barely works most of the time. They show no interest in resolving problems, leaving you frustrated and out of pocket. Save yourself the hassle and stay far away from this company. You’ll get better service elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.

Different account than ordered.

I called Vodaphone clarifying very specifically my needs for a phone contract, which includes calling abroad a lot. I agreed on a contract via phone from a sales person, and it felt nice. After now receiving the first invoice I see that I pay really a lot for actually calling abroad. Termination period of the contract is 2 weeks after starting it, and the first invoice came in after a month. So basically when I noticed that I pay a lot I could not get out of this expensive and for me useless two year contract now. I called many times for help, they can't do anything to adjust the contract to my needs within the budget I have. All my trust is gone when it comes to starting a new one or two year obligation with Vodafone again. So I am basically deeply dissatisfied and paying a shit ton of money for a phone account the coming two years, of which the internet connection about 50% is bad as well. I feel screwed by the person who sold me this, I have something else than I wanted and I can't get out. It's really sad. Would not recommend this, I don't want to talk with them anymore about a solution, I want out, I want to be done with this company.

If you do not speak perfect german don't even bother

If you do not speak perfect german, don't even bother trying to get any help from the Vodafone Customer Service. I have been spending about a week back and forth trying to get help.

When my router arrive the package was totally trashed, the seal broken and the bag inside with the cable was open. Inside the bag was the cable - with the pin broken off. Yes, I have pictures of it.

I fixed the internet myself by loaning a cable from a friend, but wanted Vodafone to send a new cable, so I contacted them. This so I could give the cable back to my friend.

After telling Vodafone customer service my birthdate maybe a bit to slow in german, 2 customer service people hung up on me.

I made about 10 more phone calls, asking if somebody could call me back in english, and they promised somebody would - but nobody called me back.

I just wanted to be honest and give them back their broken cable and get a new one.

I called again and when they finally understood me and a new cable is on the way. Good, hooray!!

During the same time a company that is their service partner SSF Telekommunikations Management GmbH have been contacting me, speaking loud almost screaming german, that they need to get into my apartment to fix my internet.

Calling 5 times a day, but since i did not understand her screamy voice and she did not listen to me, I asked her to email. Which she finally did.

So I have been trying to explain that I am already in contact with Vodafone and that the internet now works (dowload 538 Mbps, Upload 53 Mbps), but they say they need into my apartment anyways. Ok.

So I contacted Vodafone again and asked why they need to get into my apartment when everything now works? I need to be home from work a half day then since they only can give time slots of 3 hours 14-17.

Nobody on Vodafone knows and nobody understands me, even if I now have found an email adress and email them in german.

They redirect me to their english chat - which also speaks ONLY GERMAN.

This is almost comic. How can nobody on such a big company not speak english? Or perhaps listen to me when I try to explain myself on my new beginners german what I need help with?

I can speak and explain, but a bit slower since I am Swedish and new in the country :/

I am a very disappointed new customer and would not recommend Vodafone to anyone. Very time consuming and with a large dose lack of respect.

I will change company as soon as my contract runs out.

Most disrespectful service EVER!

I’m a Vodafone customer and my internet has stopped working since Wednesday.
They promised that someone would call me within 48 hours and NO ONE called. I called again today, and it took me OVER TWO HOURS to get through in English.
When I succeeded, I was asked to reset the modem and wait 10 minutes for the internet to come back.
I waited and it didn’t come back.

I called AGAIN FOR THE 5TH TIME, and they said AGAIN that someone would get back to me within 48 hours.

I don’t know what to do anymore because your cst service won’t help me!!! I’m desperate because I work from home.

I understand that because I don't communicate in German the process is even more difficult, but I have never seen such disrespectful customer service as yours.
I'm outraged! It will take almost 4 days to solve a problem caused BY YOU!

I wonder if the best option is to go to a lawyer.

Scammers Scammers and Scammers

After being tricked into signing a scam contract by fraud agents at out OWN home, the company started to charge us with their most expensive gear.
It took many operations to get out of the scam contract, and even after its cancellation the company kept withdrawing money from our bank account.
We lost time, money, and had to change bank credentials in the process.

Vodafone, International Company present in Europe since more than 30 years in many Countries doesn't provide customer service multi language in Germany, at least second language English.

I called customer service to switch to a cheaper plan. The representative told me he set it up as a business plan. I was excited, thinking I would save 10 Euros, but after a month, I discovered I was actually paying 10 Euros more!

Horrible.

Horrible.. It's been months of outages every night around 10 pm, right as my kids go to sleep and I need to be online for my remote work in Washington DC, my actual work hours. This is unacceptable. I get half the service I pay for basically, and this is eventually going to affect my career if I can't get someone on the phone to resolve my issue after 40-50 minutes waiting for a representative to pick up. Horrible.

take really care. using the internet situation vodafone will make an offer (like free installation, free activation and a voucher. at the end, you get no gutschein, no internet, and a 50 euro invoice for the insallatin (that never happen)

I had new contract on April 2024 cable internet and we’re on December 2024 and still no internet for a period of 7 months while getting charge for no internet I try 4 times the call maintenance I even had appointment with a technician that I took a day off because of theme and never showed up. it is insane

Vodafone internet contract

Our Vodafone internet contract was cancelled for our entire building to move to another supplier. The other supplier is not able to access the cables until Feb 2025 we were promised that Vodafone would provide internet connection until it was sorted as they still have access to the lines. Now, some people in the building still have access to the internet through Vodafone and some do not. I spoke to a Vodafone customer agent who said that they would send me a wireless router with a sim with 500GB (which I was super grateful for) and that I would just have to call them to get it charged once it arrives. So now I have the router and the sim and when I called to charge the sim they said oh actually no we won’t do that. I asked multiple times why they sent me the device if I can’t use it and if they could please listen to the conversation I had with the agent (that they recorded) and provide what was promised and they refused to answer this. They then proceeded to tell me that to solve my issue I should write a letter about the situation and post it! Its 2024!
I work fully remote and have no proper internet connection until feb 2025! Terrible customer experience!

Horrible Stability.

You can not rely on this internet provider for stable internet. I am working remote and you cant even have proper meetings, let alone do anything time sensitive like stock trading.
I am used to bad internet since I grew up in a small village, but now I live in a big city and have a 1000k cable contract but they are unable to provide stable internet. And thats in the third biggest economy in the world. Just sad.

Absolutely fraudulent company

Absolutely fraudulent company. We signed a contract with them and couldn't break it for 8 years! For 8 years, Vodafone deceived us and stole our money. The monthly amounts NEVER matched the amounts in the contract. The customer support doesn't work at all. All Vodafone cares about is how to steal more of your money and how not to let you break the contract with them. Take care of yourself, never get involved with Vodafone scammers.

Having to deal with their app or…

Having to deal with their app or myvodafone is insanely difficult. I can't access my invoices since I need an account, I can't create an account because it's giving me error messages. There is no way to contact them other than a stupid bot or a call employee that doesn't speak english and just hangs up after a few sentences.
