A power shift! Most of my VO work used to come through Voice123, which is now an overpriced, underperforming "Pay To Play" platform promoting primarily poor opportunities. Voices.com has picked up the... See more

I got a basic membership about a couple of years ago as a Spanish voice-over actor. Surprisingly enough, I was accepted for 2 jobs, got paid in time and even got a nice review from the team.
However, I am finding trouble lately responding to some auditions where the onboarding always gets stuck halfway through. Contacted support several times about it, got the acknowledgment receipt (we will contact you soon) but I was NEVER contacted on this issue whatsoever. It is inconceivable that with all the AI tools at the disposal of the company that they are uncapable to put out decent support. Would someone please pitch VOICES a decent AI-enabled support solution so that we can sort out all these issues?
I believe Voices is a phenomenal company, but something is going on. As you can see, they don't reply to negative reviews here, nor do they reply by email. Is it like they don't care about their own business and actors?
This company is a complete scam. Most of the auditions are just 100 % mess, either the intake forms are not working or the instructions are complete different from and not aligning with the actual scripts!
Furthermore NO ONE ever is responding to any email, neither anyone from voices.com nor anyone who is sending the actual job offers!
I never experienced such crap company in 20 years of my career!
Been on this platform for one year. Landed one job which was smooth. But being in Europe I'm not usually quick enough to get an audition in quick enough as I don't work in the middle of the night! I notice most of the time my auditions aren't even listened to. Have started using some platforms in Europe and having much more success. Not sure I will be reviewing my membership after another year as I haven't even recouped my membership fee....plus the 20% commission seems quite greedy.
60+ DAYS AND STILL NO PAYMENT - TOTAL DISREGARD FOR FREELANCERS
I am beyond disappointed, angry, and sad. I completed a 21-prompt project that was officially APPROVED on February 4th, 2026. According to their own policy, my payment was supposed to be released on April 5th.
It is now April 11th, and I have received ZERO. I have sent a formal protest email on April 10th, but they haven't even had the decency to reply. My dashboard says "Deposit Received," which means they have the money, but they are choosing to withhold it from me.
As a freelancer who worked hard to meet their deadlines, being treated like this is heartbreaking. I followed all their rules, but they are failing their own terms of service. Do not trust their "60-day" promise. If you value your hard work and time, be careful. This is a total nightmare.

It feels dead. I get less than 20 jobs a day and half of them are poor matches/pay for the work. After 4 months straight, I haven't even recouped my renewal fee. I don't know what's going on with Voices, but I can't recommend anyone sign up for a service that's bleeding users and providing nothing.
So far so good. I’ve recently joined Voices.com and whilst initially it didn’t seem there were that many audition opportunities for me (Australian female), there seems to be much more coming through. Customer service is excellent. Response time is quick and they are proactive in reviewing your profile to provide tips on how to improve it to increase your chance of receiving more auditions.
Thank you for all these work opportunities you provide, allowing every talent to express themselves and showcase their skills.
I had completed a recording using the Voices Studio link for a project coordinated by project.team.c at voices.com. At February I ask when I will receive any compensation, they said bc I send my recording on 27 December 2025 it will be paid on 5th march 2026. And now after more than 2 weeks still no respond whatsoever, even I already sent countless mail to their support center. It's crazy thinking that company with such caliber would do such an act to their contributor, but here we are. Anyway, I've put my project information just in case some how they read this. What a joke to be laughed at...

Had a great experience working on my first paid project through Voices.com. The process was smooth and professional, and I got the opportunity to work on an advertisement for a global brand.
Looking forward to more such collaborations ahead.
What made this a great experience was how helpful the team is. They provide lots of tools and information to help you succeed.
I love VOICES!!! I BOOKED MY FIRST VOICEOVER ON MY FIRST DEMO /client there!!! Such an amazing company!!! Thank you,
TLDR: They had me produce 4 finished audio hours, taking 8 hours to record 484 prompts, and refused to pay me.
I have used Voices for a year now. It was going fine. Audition for some jobs; get some; don't get others. I used to act and this was something to do on the side. I have done probably around ~5 jobs with Voices and didn't have a problem then I got one for 5 hours of finished recorded audio split up into two halves. Well the first "half" was 484 prompts, which resulted in 4 hours of recorded audio and it took me about 8 hours to record, including going back and making sure the transcript score was high enough for my satisfaction. When I submitted this, I told the project team that my contract was only for 5 hours of finished audio and if the second "half" of the project was to be similar to the first, I would need assurances that I would be paid my hourly rate in the contract for all finished audio exceeding 5 hours.
First Voices ignored me and said it was missing a few prompts. I asked which ones because all were submitted per my records and its system. They went back and forth with me over the next day or two and then ghosted. I followed-up a couple days later asking if they found everything and the Voices team said they did.
A week later Voices reaches out and says they have reviewed the audio submissions and the client decided it didn't want to use them and wants to go with someone else and so Voices couldn't process payment. "Sorry, we know its frustrating but thank you for your work and hope to work with you in the future." They just had me give them 4 hours of finished audio, working for 8 hours and breached the contract. So I am in the middle of a payment dispute with them and will be filing a lawsuit (which will cost them more to defend than paying the contract would) if I cannot get it resolved here in the next week or so.
Totally unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Thinking of reporting them to the BBB and my state's attorney general's consumer protection department as well.
I paid for Premium 2 months ago and just landed my first job today! I am so happy i invested into voices! Hopefully i will have more jobs in the future.
Two jobs so far and a nice experience
I have landed two voice jobs so far with voices.com. It has been a fun experience. I work in English and Spanish and I enjoy the reading and the process. I got scammed by someone (they had me email my mp3 so they would not have to pay; I fell for their request; mea culpa). But voices caught it and kicked them off the platform. Otherwise, good time and nice side gig.
the audition test does not work, even with a great Mic and good noises conditions, it does not validate the audio file (it says the environnement is not good, I'm actually in a completely silent room).
If I ever become a real in demand voiceover actress, it will be first and foremost because of Voices. I have had a basic membership for about a year now, and I recently booked my first job. They have given me chances over the last year to audition, and I always am able to submit everything seamlessly. I can't say enough for them, and I would encourage anyone who wants to break into the voiceover would to sign up with Voices.
Voices saves me time and money, highly recommend
Just finished my self imposed obligation of 101 auditions (they say if you do 100, it will be the 101st one that hits) and with all the dangled carrots, shortlists and fraudulent clients, I will just let my subscription end in a few months and chalk this up to lesson learned. In hindsight, it hasn't been a horrible experience, just frustrating. I wasnt looking for a career at this, just fulfill a dream after retirement. It's been an eye-opener for sure.
Voices.com has been an great platform for growing my voice-over career. As a voice actor, I really appreciate the quality opportunities, the ease to submit auditions, and connect with clients who truly value professional work. The interface is user-friendly, the job postings are clear, and the system makes it simple to stay organized and track projects.
I appreciate the consistency—new opportunities show up every day, and I’ve been able to work with clients I never would have found on my own. Payments are handled smoothly and securely, and the platform’s communication tools make every project feel professional and straightforward.
Voices.com has helped me level up my career, expand my client base, and stay inspired as an artist. I highly recommend it to any voice actor looking for a reliable, supportive, and opportunity-rich platform.
