There is hardly any fruit in Warburton's Fruity Teacakes despite the claim on the packet of 'plump and juicy currants, sultanas and raisins'. Other brands including shop own brands are better.

The toastie loaf I bought was awful

The toastie loaf I bought was awful. Really thin not toastie at all really disappointing as this loaf has to last me all week as I live alone and I’m a pensioner. I used to love this bread and didn’t mind paying a bit more for it, this last loaf was like a really cheap thin sliced bread. Warburtons must think we are stupid . I will never buy it again Warburtons are black listed in my book for there deceit no stars from me.

Does your Bread taste weird now..

Does your Bread taste weird now... Is it dry around edges... Weird smell.... You may have noticed this same sour taste in other products... This is down to the recipe change which is rapeseed oil that replaced sunflower oil in most products... Although deemed as good the bad points overwhelm it... And this was actually band in the 70s for it's acid... Please do your own research on how bad it is.. that's why most foods and snacks have a different taste.. will never touch any food again that contains this.. cheap skates Warburton have gone down the rapeseed route which has made their bread disgusting.

I only gave 1 star so I could write a review on Warburton tea cakes. Never will k buy them again. Dry bread roll with a hint of sugar.wasted 1.35 ... it was disgusting. It is definitely NOT a tea cake, texture was rough, dry no taste 4 currants and falling apart. I'm still in shock. Braces produce beauties of a tea cake. Sorry Warburton 😞 no points only bin!

They continue to mislead consumers by…

They continue to mislead consumers by marketing their super thick toastie as an extra thick sliced loaf - it is a medium sliced loaf, the slices are a tiny 17mm in thickness. They are well aware of this complaint and do not care - customer service is woeful. But as long as they can afford to waste dough (sorry) on crusty (sorry again) old Hollywood has beens then I guess their customers don,t count for much.

Think Mr Warburton really need to look at all the negative reviews. Trying to save money so he can pay Samuel Jackson.
Bread is a part of our stable diet and should and never be costly. Shame on you Mr Warburton, your grandfather be turning in his grave .

I don't really understand all the bad reviews. I love Warburtons bread especially the toastie loaf.
I think it's better in the paper packaging, stays fresher and obviously recyclable.
As for it tasting the same as home brand 50p or whatever loaves! Totally disagree, other than maybe M&S & Waitrose I think the home brands cheap bread tastes disgusting. That's my opinion.

I am what is generally described as…

I am what is generally described as aged and recently my purchases of Warburtons products to put it mildly have been extremely disappointing.
I actually thought that due to my age my taste buds were changing for the worse. Luckily I checked out Warburtons on Trustpilot and realised that it was Warburtons massive drop in standards that was the cause. What a shame, they were stand alone brilliant.
Trustpilot is now becoming my first point of reference before I purchase. I certainly did not think of food products but I will now…

Smells funny

Purchased an in date orange coloured toastie loaf in Aldi's, I opened the packet it just stank of something of I don't know what. I put the bread in the toaster it came out it just started crumbling the edges are rock hard and it doesn't even fit in the toaster properly. I burped a little while later and could taste something like I said I don't know what that is I won't be buying one of those anymore in fact I've never been a fan of warburtons, somebody actually told me at adistribution centre that they're not very good.

Crap teacakes

Hoorble teacakes. Smaller than they used to be, hardly any fruit an tastless.
Are they farming out the tea cake order? Not up to the Warburton standards that I expect !!
I know all manufacturers are cutting back on size to avoid significant price increases but quality as well ?
I for one will not be buying any more till the matter is resolved.

Where has all the fruit gone

Had some fruit tea cakes a couple of days ago, never again, they use to be so fruity, not any more, half the fruit gone, where are you coming from Mr. Warbuton, stop paying millions to these Amercian stars, stop cutting back on your ingredients, think about donating all these millions to charities and food banks, i think you take on these Amercian stars for you own ego, think on Mr. Warburton and stop this ego trip

I have lived in Switzerland for 22 years and always bring 6 loaves of Warburtons back with me when I visit the UK. For the last 21 years the bread has been perfect when taken from the freezer. This last year has been a disaster! What went wrong? The taste is awful and the texture is poor. They must have changed the recipe. Please solve this problem, Warburtons!
