Really happy with the offer tia gave me today with warranty first, she was so helpful and helped me with my car, I took out a 2 year cover and it’s such a good cover for my car, I would really recommend warranty first.

Very tricky to deal with and they are looking any excuse not to pay full amount, only part of the repair. Said that they found cheaper parts online. Quality don't seem to their priority. Won't recommend it anyone

Cameron was a polite young man who gave me the information needed to decide which policy was best for me. I have used warranty first before and when my alternator failed on my van they were quick to agree to cover the repair and covered a good part of the cost. In my experience I would recommend warranty first.

Spoke with a young lady called Tia. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, polite & friendly. I explained that the renewal of the policy, I had taken, when buying the car, was for my daughter & that it would be her choice if she wanted to renew. Tia put no pressure on me to make any decision & agreed to call me back when both my daughter & myself were available. She patiently explained everything to my daughter & had a very engaging conversation with her. An absolute pleasure to talk to Tia. She is definitely a credit to herself & your company. Thank you again for all your help Tia.

Review Title: Avoid at all costs. A masterclass in corporate bad faith and systemic delay tactics.
Review Text:
If you are considering buying a policy from Warranty First, save your money. They operate on a business model designed to exhaust, delay, and ultimately evade paying legitimate claims through bad-faith interpretations of their own terms.
My experience with them regarding a Mercedes-Benz diagnostic repair has exposed three specific tactics they use to avoid honoring their policies:
Unfair "Bundling" of Claims: When my vehicle suffered three entirely separate, unrelated mechanical failures, Warranty First attempted to group them together as a single claim. This was a transparent tactic to enforce a £2,000 policy payout cap rather than assessing each failure on its own merits.
The "Health Check" Loophole (Clause 41): When my Engine Management Light came on, I took the car to a certified Mercedes-Benz garage. Because the technician's mandatory diagnostic scan identified the root causes alongside other wear items, Warranty First claimed this constituted an excluded "voluntary health check." They are actively using the necessary diagnostic process required to read a fault code as an excuse to throw out a claim.
Impossible Administrative Hurdles: They demand that a customer or a manufacturer-certified technician provide a specific, hyper-technical "cause of failure" that goes way beyond standard, official diagnostic reports. They use this as a weaponized administrative delay, forcing the customer to act as an unpaid claims investigator while they drag out the process.
They rely entirely on pre-written scripts, corporate word salad, and passive-aggressive bureaucracy to fatigue the customer into giving up.
I have officially requested all internal communications, call recordings, and logs under data compliance rules, and I am escalating this entire matter to The Motor Ombudsman for review alongside a claim for damages caused by their prevarication.
Do not trust this company. They are happy to take your premium, but when a genuine mechanical failure occurs, they will hide behind every administrative trick in the book to protect their profit margins over your consumer rights while asking you to renew every day.
UPDATE: Thank you for your response. Your claims team has just provided me with your internal call logs and audio data from 18 March 2026. Having reviewed your internal recordings alongside the certified Mercedes-Benz main dealer diagnostics, I am entirely confident in my contractual position.
I will not be debating your arbitrary interpretation of "diagnostic information" or your timeline failures on a public forum. The complete file—including your own internal audio logs—has been escalated to the Motor Ombudsman for independent adjudication and a formal verdict on your claims-handling practices. Stay tuned. If Trustpilot requires any substantiation for any of these claims, please get in touch with me.
