Warrington Borough Council Reviews 

Warrington Borough Council have ignored us residents regarding the Central 6 Street Plan, in Westy.

This plan is flawed and the consultation was ridiculous, as the majority of residents in warrington were unaware of the plans to close the roads until June 2022.

It will cause mayhem on the surrounding roads and will cause drivers to be in their cars for longer, make journeys across the town longer to do, therefore causing more pollution and costing residents more money in fuel as well as making journeys longer and more difficult.

Many of us residents would like the council to scrap the plans and re-think a better solution.

Lack of residence consultation over The hugely flawed central 6 fiasco has been a disgrace. More pollution, people have to make longer journeys just to get to school or work
Not to mention the serious safety element of children going to schools nearby. Carers and emergency services cannot get easily to people in real need and people can't get easily to businesses who may now go bust.

Not interested in the views of thousands of their residents regarding Central 6. A town to avoid!

The council and councillors are a complete waste of time and space. They have zero interest in representing the people of Warrington. They’re so busy trying to cover up their total mismanagement of council funds the safety, well being and opinions of voters are completely ignored. Incompetent, ineffective, inefficient and hopefully out of their jobs very soon.

WBC ignoring the wishes of the people they are supposed to represent , over 6,000 residents signed petitions stating NO TO CENTRAL 6 also 2 peaceful protests yet ALL (apart from abstains) Labour Councillors voted for it to go ahead at Council meeting last night this will result in longer car journeys on narrower streets, poor emergency response vehicle access, less time for Carers on their visits, more emissions, increased fuel costs. How can it create cleaner air when traffic is being moved to street next door, only thing that makes sense is a bigger plan where traffic is moved onto a set route and clean air/congestion charges will be introduced in the future after all WBC have to make up for all OUR money they have lost with previous stupid ideas. LABOUR will be out in Warrington 2024 the people will not forget.

Why are you not listening to the residents of Warrington who's lives you are turning upside down by your ridiculous Central6 road scheme. This has been fiercely fought against and you have deliberately gone ahead. Is this trying to let us know you think you are the bosses in charge. Well wait until the next elections and then see who's in charge. You are despicable. Hang your heads in shame.🤬

Warrington borough council are not listening to the residents who object to central 6 in latchford. An accident waiting to happen when the fire brigade can't get through.

USELESS been trying to get through to them for days sometime on hold for over an hour then just cuts off.

Constantly getting parking tickets outside my own home I work Monday to Saturday so can’t get into the council office for a permit and won’t do anything to help

The roads in my area are a disgrace why do I pay road tax or council tax ??

I could go on and on but I’ll leave it there, all they want is money out of people and that’s it but where does all this money go ??

Warrington Council leave disabled people like myself homeless on the streets so they house released pedos and criminals for labour and Cheshire police. Since 2002 thousands of locals of Warrington, Runcorn and Widnes have ended their lifes as locals like myself are refused social housing and Cheshire Police have arrested and sedated innocent people arguing back. Six innocent people are locked up in Brooker Centre and Hollins Park getting nasty over pedos housed here. Six people have ended their lifes this year and only way to fix this mess is to vote all politicans out and leave the whole North with no overall control. Lib Dems and Greens have planned to legalize recreational smokes and house them all in flags and disabled people with brain damage are been locked up and forced into supported accomodation where male staff are rumared to be convicts. Halton Council and Warrington Council and all housing trusts are unfit for purpose and Labour told me they will leave me to rot on the streets and house more pedos as no one will stop them. Warrington Council are the devil and they need to be shut down with Halton council their pals and the both of the councils and their politicaians and police shut down otherwise Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Wales and the South will once again go to riots and clashes. It's 2022AC and the church brand M2M the devil but convicts walk free. Warrington Councils housing plus will leave you on the streets or with bad landlords who don't care and bully you and have the keys and make your rear end bleed and the police claim you had a nightmare. What a pathetic state of affairs. Labour are the devil like them scousers.

Moved out of warrington Borough in November, overpaid on council tax still waiting for refund, 3 months later why take so long especially as confirmed value on initial telephone conversation please can you get this done or at least pay interest on my money your not wanting to pay back

WBC will not release 30 hrs child care for us.

My wife got a job mid September, she got the code for the nursery but WBC have said it needed to be before the end of August.

MY WIFE DID NOT HAVE THE JOB AT THE END OF AUGUST.

They will not help us until January costing us £500-600.

Very dissatisfied with WBC. Appalling lack of transparency regarding the financial decisions which have resulted in a debt of £1.6bn . Public money is being deliberately wasted on purchase of retail premises , failing energy companies and loss making banks. Their unnecessary destruction of precious green belt land is unforgivable when there are numerous brownfield sites which could and should be developed. Self serving incompetent councillors need to be removed before the town becomes a complete wasteland .

Services failing or non existent. Rates rising rapidly. All the money spent on pet projects largely to the benefit of senior staff.

Why did you pour public money into the atrocious company Together Energy? It is of no benefit to anyone. Customers are angry, it has failed billing systems, there are no jobs or benefit being created in Warrington and ultimately after 2 more years of making horrendous losses it will probably fail losing all the money that has been invested. Why? just why?

Keep finding billions to throw at really dodgy investment schemes, whilst ramping up council tax and cutting services, whilst blaming government funding. Some really dubious arrangements, business relationships and conflicts of interest going on completely unchecked and FOIs are just ignored.
Seem intent on concreting over all of the green belt in pursuit of more council tax and developer money to invest in more disastrous investments (such as together energy, which you will find on trust pilot with a similarly low score).

Councillors think its okay to lean on departments for there own gain.
The DM committee can be bought in exchange for favours, they also will refuse to produce detailed minutes of any hearing in line with government best practice guidelines. Anyone that has everhad anything refused by this DMC, I would recommend appealing against the decision if you had full backing from the councils own planning department. They will make decisions they know are wrong, turn peoples lives upside down and cause undue stress just because they can. You cannot make a complaint as it will just be buried or covered up, you can't go to the ombudsman unless you have already complained to council, giving them time to cover it up.

Warrington Borough council have not bothered to reply to a very simple freedom of information request having to take matters further.Very disappointed to be treated this way.

Most CT I’ve ever paid for very little services, poor leisure facilities, poor roads (and badly planned) endless planning applications and new builds with no infrastructure all about getting more money in OUR MONEY to fritter on crack brain projects that are an embarrassment to Warrington. Only place I’ve lived where you pay for the green bin and you can’t put food waste in and a speck of soil they won’t take it!!

No accountability for spending money like there’s no tomorrow. I’ve lived previously in Manchester and Stockport and I’ve never known anything like this I seriously wish my area became subject to a boundary change.
