I really like Webroot
The product itself appears to be OK - a little cumbersome perhaps, but OK. Where you would be up s**t creek without a paddle is if you require assistance from the clowns they employ as support 'engineers'. They ran out of ideas pretty soon and then required me to call the United States - costing a fortune in call charges - to 'clarify' the problem. I told them that wasn't happening and they then refused to speak to me any more.
I then tried to switch to BitDefender. It won't install (sensibly) until Webroot is uninstalled, but Webroot refuses to uninstall and the 'help' system is dreadful!

I was having trembles for some reason on my putting the courser on each email and came concern of what was happening. So I went immediately to webroot setting and asked for a scan to be sure of nothing happening with my information.

I have difficulty knowing when the software is updated. There’s no prompting to let me know a scan is being performed on my devices. Not really sure how effective the scan is.

I have used Webroot AV and VPN for a few years, liked it for the very slim strain on resources. It is a good product from what I can tell. However....... like previous reviewers, I have no idea about my auto-renewals, how to cancel, continue etc. Beware of this company, they are not transparent with your details. You sign up, then auto-renew comes around, and they ask you to fill out a form to cancel, which raises a support ticket.... ? really? Their online portal seems crafted to avoiding any ability to manage subscriptions. Not all products appear together either.
I have no idea what they are doing with my personal details, let alone my payment details. They need to change their product sales process.
I have subsequently read the other reviews who were sent a link for a refund, and the order was immediately refunded so I’ve modified my review to reflect this. Still my recommendation is to try another AV until they sort this out.

I guess they're doing a good job, but they don't communicate with their customers very often. I get a couple of email advertisements at Christmas, email notification when the bill is due, but I don't hear from them about what going on in the cyber world, or tips that may help their customers try and maintain a kindergarten level of knowledge in what's happening in the tech world.

I paid an annual renewal fee in Nov 2021and received a new disk to download. Following the instructions I was unable to do so.
I did not realize I had it set up to renew automatically which it did in December 2021.
Therefore, I paid 2 times for coverage thru 2022. I have been unable to contact a real person to receive a refund of a double payment.

I have not had any issues on my desktop, however, when I try to log in the website, it kept saying to enter my key word, I did and website would not let me log in. Even today, I'm not able to log in through the website, but ever since I renewed my subscription, My desktop icon works fine. I would say since a year and currently I am not able to log into the website. I don't know why. it lets me renew my subscription. I have tried several troubleshoots and have change password and still no luck; I have even email webroot and no replies or communication. It works perfect on my desktop. No internet access and no communication from webroot to correct this issue.

Webroot has been removed due to having 2 antivirus software on my computer. It is my understanding that I should not have more than one at a time b/c they interfere with each other. The one I have is the one my computer geeks use and they take care of my computer. Is there any way I can be refunded?
