I was skeptical at first, but I decided to give Wecasa a try. I’m glad I did. Helen did a fantastic job and left my apartment spotless.

Clean wasn't amazing, but was fine. He boasted he was really fast (because he was a man and men clean faster?!) and wouldn't need three hours but then job was incomplete. Anyway that's less of my concern as really good, efficient cleaners are like gold dust. But he broke our toilet seat which i only realised once he'd gone, and he didn't mention it to us. Wecasa won't pay out as they don't compensate any damage under £200 and tell you you just have to take it up with cleaner and he is obviously now just denying it. So my clean has doubled in cost as I've now got to replace the toilet seat. Really annoying situation. I wanted to use the service pretty regularly but this has massively put me off and I'm giving it a low rating to warn others of this distinct possibility.

An excellent haircut without fuss and bother.

I have made over 20 bookings through Wecasa and a cleaner has only ever turned up twice. The vast majority of cleaners registered on this app seem to have no intention of actually showing up and often cancel on the day, all quoting a family emergency. It can’t be a coincidence…. I imagine this is a way for people to demonstrate to the DWP/council that they are seeking employment/are employed, without actually having to work.

Our cleaner Lorena was booked for a one off clean. She arrived on time, was professional, asked me what I wanted to focus on and start with and our flat was the cleanest I’ve ever seen it. She did the whole 2 bedroom flat plus ironing and bathrooms in 3.5 hours and finished bang on time.
