Most products at Wegmans in Hunt Valley, MD sell numerous items that are in plastic containers or wrap. Yet they require you put all your shopping products in bulky paper shopping bags. These bags are difficult to handle and are cumbersome, especially for elderly customers. The bags they provide suck and creates a trash problem,

Want to know why Wegmans has gone from the most admired supermarket in the USA to not even on the top ten list? Well, they simply don't accommodate their shoppers anymore with requests. I have been buying the same item for years and now they tell me they won't do it anymore because I send my Instacart shopper there instead of myself. At 80 years old, I can't just drive 15 miles to the store. The new CEO has no idea how to run a upperclass store. Of course, she didn't built it--her parents did. As usual. The kids will always tear down what the grandparents and parents built.

Brockport Wegmans used to be a great store. I said Used to Be. The quality of their onions 🌰 has declined. - Last time I was there, the staff in the deli section were miserable and it showed. I made my deli purchase and left. - I would help out the guys by bringing grocery carts left in the parking lot. - I would report a broken bottle on the floor, while other customers walked by it. - Their eggs are always broken, I check their eggs and bring the broken ones in the carton to customer service, when I am purchasing my eggs. - This Incident was poorly handled - I was in line waiting to be checked out. The person ahead of me was using the only grocery divider in the aisle I was in. I went across to an unused aisle next to me, and took a grocery divider and put it in front of me. - Suddenly, this old man dressed all in black, pointy nose, glasses, thinning gray hair slicked back, swooped in front of me, grabbed the grocery divider that was in front of me, and put it back. - I caught a Wegmans name tag on him. He never spoke to me. He could have said 'M'am, we need to have the grocery divider remain in its location.' I was incredulous. - Then this man dressed all in black with the glasses, Goes Down A Few Aisles, Takes a grocery store divider from an EMPTY Aisle and offers it to me. - What is the Difference?! - I said 'No, I have the customer ahead of me grocery divider now.' When I got up to the cashier and asked are Wegmans now policing the grocery store dividers, she became upset and was saying 'I don't want any drama!'
I was NOT yelling. I was NOT using profanity. - I cashed out and as I was walking away, a female employee leaps into the empty aisle and Raises Her Voice at me, Shouting at me, saying 'The grocery dividers get lost, ect. - I kept on walking and stopped at customer service. - I told the woman what happened. Out of the corner of my eye, the gray haired man materialized but decided to not engage with me.- The woman behind the customer service counter just stood there with her mouth open. - I lifted my groceries out of the cart and left. - Never to Return.- Unfortunately, I have to use their pharmacy. - But, I Refuse to Shop at Brockport Wegmans ever again. - I can go to Walmart, Spencerport Tops, or Other Wegmans.- This episode was Beyond the Pale. - I felt as if I was Targeted. - Very Poorly Handled. - Date of episode- December 9th, 2025

I just bought a ham and cheese large sub to be very honest the ham was tasteless and the cheese was very sparse The ham was over.proccesed etc.The price ridiculous They went to solid metal guards where the fixings are kept tjat in its self raises a question mark ..why hide what you are making the subs with.Wegmans used to be a great supermarket but over the last few years their quality has definitely suffered and the prices ridiculous lousy. Wegmans brands are no better than Walmart but at least Walmart are honest inbtheir branding and quality. Example in the pre-made foods is 6 small scoops of potatoes for 10$ is just an kma take it or leave it attitude.Aldi is my go to for certain items with great quality and decent service.Wegmandoesnt care about it's custimers anymore. Ordered a pizza and it was awful. It tasted like the box it was put in and left a bad taste in your mouth.

I applied for a job here a week ago. I was supposed to have a telephone interview on Tuesday morning the following week at 8:45 a.m. didn't plan anything except the interview so I'm sitting there at 8:45. I get a text that I missed my interview call. Waiting for the call. F Wegmans

I filled out one of their experience cards and left my phone number name email. No one got back to me. It’s been over two months now I’m just wondering why they never put out enough soup. They always have the same old broccoli and cheddar and chicken noodle now I go to Whole Foods. They got 10 to 15 soups at all times. If you don’t have it, you can’t sell it enough with the old lady soup get some man soup, buffalo chicken lobster bisque, clam chowder.

My zip code is 19403. Not sure exactly which Wegmans serviced me. I went thru Instacart to order delivery of a fruit bowl from Wegmans, My delivery guy's name is Mamadu. I think he watches too much MARTIN. My SIMPLE instruction was to RING THE TOP DOORBELL. Instead he chose to leave my fruit on the top step near my front door. Its getting dark and its a rainy day. This was my FIRST and LAST delivery. I only found out that my delivery arrived because it was past the time they gave as delivery. So I checked my order on their website and it says it was delivered along with a photo of a paper bag at my front door. So to Wegmans I say hello and GOODBYE. Never ever will I ever deal with them again under ANY circumstances. If you are too STUPID to follow simple instructions, or even use minimal logic, then you are too stupid to earn my business.

Ordered groceries through Wegmans website for pickup. They charged me for items that I ordered but DIDN'T get. When I called, I was told I could come in and get them. The whole reason for me doing pickup was to avoid having to go into the store due to health issues. Not to mention having to drive all the way back. And some of the things I ordered they didn't have in stock. Everyone raves about Wegmans, but I have never had any luck with them and this issue just sealed the deal of me shopping elsewhere.

Wegmans in Geneseo ny I to self service. It only except a card. I ask the girl for help she gave me a attitude and was rude some kid came over she told him he looks crazy help him. Wow Wegmans hire people that don't act professionally and that talk about customers that make them feel bad. Wegmans need to train there employees Wright.

We visited Wegmans in Auburn NY today.
It was a zoo in there, as they were busy (it’s Friday) and apparently the power to the coolers went down.
They were on it, and had covered every unit with plastic to maintain temperatures. There were staff on hand to dip under the covering to get whatever it was you were looking for, as in the deli section, for our case.
We get supplies from a distance, so stocking up was the mission.
Our check out person was above and beyond!
Her name was Karen. She packed like a true professional and was really quite amazing!

Great customer service at sterling va

I've stayed away from Weggies for so long because every single time I went, it was never quick because THEY ARE ALWAYS REARRANGING the store!! Obviously they want you to BUY BUY BUY because they want you to browse stuff you don't need before you actually find what you're looking for. Now due to other area stores becoming so horrible I have psyched myself up to walk into Wegs again. I've now been a few times in the past few weeks, wow how do people deal with this?

I've watched prices go up 30 cents or more on my basic items since a few weeks ago.

Again, REARRANGING EVERYTHING is still a thing!

Prepared foods, hot foods, sushi, baked goods & desserts, subs etc - PEOPLE THESE ARE MORE THAN RESTAURANT PRICES and you don't even sit down and get served!

More than half, maybe even 3/4 of the store is now all Wegmans branded products. Insider gossip is they want EVERYTHING Wegmans branded - So just do it already, get rid of ALL name brands, rebrand to all Wegmans and make the prices actually fair and affordable so people don't have to decide if they are paying bills or feeding themselves each month???!!?!

Icing on the cake - Take away more than half of the actual regular checkouts and make us do YOUR JOB?? Holy wow what a clusterf***!!! It's like going into the battlefield, forcing people with full carts and kids to bag their own stuff, while numerous employees stand and watch... Self check outs were designed as an alternative way for people to get in and out quickly with just a FEW items, NOT meant as a replacement for real cashiers. For this reason alone I will again boycott because it's plain to see the Wegs family doesn't give a crap about the consumer, they are driven by greed, even charging a nickel per paper bag! HOW ABOUT A DISCOUNT FOR BEING OUR OWN CASHIER??

Given the other choices in WNY, it's fair to say people will not give up shopping at Wegs which is why they can keep sticking it to us in any way possible.

I hear it like in the movie Goodfellas - "Want groceries? F you, PAY ME! Ready to check out? F you, DO IT YOURSELF!"

Bah. Horrible. Just disgusting.

Don't bother with the Italian Wedding soup- it tastes like whatever green stuff is in it.- Terrible, gross and a waste of money.

This makes me sad to write because I have been a longtime Wegmans shopper. In the past, I have written five star reviews of Wegman's. This is a review of the Montvale NJ store. I have frequently spent over $100 in one shopping trip to this store.

To preface this review, I have been subjected to harassment by a group of people for several years. I was in a sex harassment situation in which I hired a lawyer. This was while working as a FT consultant at a pharmaceutical company. The issue was that managers and employees exchanged videos of women in the bathroom (one of whom was me). Outside of work, I encountered two people at my pharmacy who commented directly to me about this video of me. That is what started the legal battle, and subsequent retaliation, and then an apparently never-ending smear campaign. This involves a mob of what can only be described as imbeciles. (Forgive, but it's hard to be diplomatic when referring to people who repeatedly call you a "freak" and "an ugly old [discriminatory word for gay woman]")

Back to Wegman's. I have been harassed at least three times now at this Wegmans. Some employees are friendly with participants in the harassment. Apparently they find entertainment in making their own customer uncomfortable.

The second part of my complaint is about the decline in quality of some Wegmans brand products:

1) Wegman's brand American cheese turned out to be "cheese food," having the consistency of Kraft singles.

2) I purchased store brand sliced deli meat (not cheap in price) It was filled with so much liquid material (I won't deign to call it meat) it became actual mush when I tried to make a sandwich. It was disgusting one day after I bought it. I ended up throwing about seven bucks in the trash.

3) The store brand sliced bread had a foam rubber consistency four days after I bought it. I tried to toast it and the consistency was like warm foam. I had to throw the sandwich away and use another brand of bread.

I feel sorry to have to write this review. Wegman's was one of my favorite stores.

I went to Wegmans at Lake grove on July 29,2025 to get the Whole Seedless Watermelon that was advertised at the price of $4.99 in their flyer that says prices are in effect July20-August 2, 2025. There was no Whole Seedless Watermelon existed for this price. Even the employee and customer service personnel have no idea that Whole Seedless Watermelon exist for that price in their store. Would avoid going there.

Brought bread that molded in less than a week. Paid $6 for it. I called customer service and was told sorry, no refunds on a perishable item. I will never buy bread from Wegmans again, unless I plan to eat it the same day!

The stores are very nice and the selections are good. But the music in their stores stores is good if you are under 40 years old.if you are over 50… you can’t wait to just leave.

Customer service Manager Beka (?) and other managers in the past when brought to their attention defend non disabled staff using handicapp stall with major attitude when I bring it to their attention. Sign on stall says family room or disabled. Doesn’t say staff. They just lost me and my family as customers and saved me a ton of money bc they are much more expensive than other grocery stores. Thanks Wegmans.
